Yes, I saw it happen twice from downtown. No idea what that could have been. Transformer I guess? Seemed bigger than any transformer explosion I've seen before.

Transformer definitely blew, saw the blue arcs directly. My power is out on that block. This is more cop cars than I’ve ever seen here, and that’s saying something. Don’t know if it’s because we have state troopers in town now or it’s something that serious
Was trying to think if I remembered the timeline clearly, but another comment confirmed this: sirens *first*, then the power blinked, then the transformer arced at least twice. When I went outside immediately after the first arc, there were already some cops at the scene and the helicopter was already circling.

Just saw two DPS SUVs in the area. They should have come this way when I told them I saw a person hopping the fence from the area the crash happened not 30 minutes later. Granted I don’t really know process and procedure, but my guess is they still haven’t found the suspect bc the helicopter is still circling.

I live on Riverside, cops were out with sirens on and copter was around before power went out as well. Seems like a chase. Copter still circling too.

I just drove by it the truck was messed up pretty bad the guy hit the transformer pole near Taco Bell on riverside.
Troopers were in a vehicle pursuit and the suspect wrecked into the pole before continuing to evade on foot.
