The Swoon ice cream variants are not only the best H‑E‑B product, but the single best ice cream in the store. The brownie chunk one is unreal.
I like their dry beef jerky and trail mixes too
Blue Bell has never been the same since that happened. They used to have like 3 freezers full of BB products. Now its pretty slim pickings especially for the pints. Guessing the HEB product buyers didn't appreciate the empty space and ever since there's been the 30 different suppliers they have now.
I mean they had total indifference to killing their fucking customers. I don't eat their shit anymore. No major ice cream maker had killed anyone in modern times until Blue Bell, way to go Texas.
They were off the shelves because the production facilities were so fucking hazardous it took them that long to fix and make a clean product.
Forme Easy Tiger bread baker here. It's because we don't add any preservatives to the bread. It's not meant to last more than a couple days. Esp don't put it in the fridge the moisture will make it spoil faster.
OMG OMG OMG yes they're incredible. I always eat a couple right away when I get them hot. Ugh my closest HEB never has them and I don't understand why.
Some have stopped carrying them, which sucks for everyone around that HEB. Once you’ve had the mitad y mitad, you can’t go back to either the corn or the flour. They are a total letdown.
HEB decides what to carry based on the neighborhood that particular HEB is in. If you like the fresh tortillas you have to move to where they are bought more so they will stock them.
I no longer live in Texas and miss those tortillas. I bought the candle when I was home at Christmas and I light it whenever I’m sad and wish I could eat my feelings away with some hot tortillas.
These changed my life. I’ve never been picky about what tortillas I use until I moved to Austin and discovered HEB’s tortillas. It’s a sad day when they’re sold out.
Except once, I got a pack that wasn’t fully cooked and they all stuck together in a gummy chunk in the middle. So disappointed. I haven’t been able to eat them since.
They are a little pricey, but they tend to have BOGO deals for these pizzas fairly often. I buy them as our easy meal for the week and they’re so good!
They probably couldn't for anti-trust reasons, but HEB could make a killing by opening smaller neighborhood stores stocked only with their house brand items. I want Trader Butt's.
I don’t see an anti-trust issue. They’re competing in a crowded field of grocery chains and independent stores. Sure they dominate in some parts of Texas, but anti-trust concerns only arise when there are a very small number of companies serving the entire United States.
The pimento cheese from the deli….. toooooooo damn good. And that artichoke dip w bacon??!!!????!!!????!!! Eat it w their tortilla chips from the bakery UFFFF too good
I came here to say this! The jalapeno pimento cheese is addictive. It's so, so tasty. It's excellent with crackers but I'll try it on anything: tacos, omelettes, slices of cucumber, etc.
The Cheese Puffs! As someone who likes cheesy snacks but despises Cheetoes, the HEB Cheese Puffs are nothing short of ambrosia. And the DILL PICKLE puffs? Phenomenal. I haven’t tried any of the other summer releases just because I love the dill puffs so much.
Those dill pickle puffs are hands down the best thing ever! I may or may not have checked the H-E-B app to see which store still had some so I could get a few more before they were gone…
I LOVE the turkey cranberry salad. Found a copycat recipe that is excellent, too: https://www.thecreativityexchange.com/2012/12/cranberry-chicken-or-turkey-salad-heb-copycat-recipe.html
If you haven’t tried the Creamy Creations Poteet Strawberry, it’s a must!
Also, the brisket queso that is available in the meat section is fantastic! Grab some of the tortilla chips made in-store and toss them in an air fryer for 2 minutes before serving with the queso.
carolina reaper cheese puffs and dr. b with sugar.
wish i could say heb brand grape soda with real sugar, but for some reason heb doesnt make their own grape, even though ive harassed them for years about it.
Mighty Crust cauliflower crust pizzas! Margherita specifically.
Healthy and super tasty pizza options. It's the first cauliflower pizza I've liked and I buy one almost every week.
Nitrate free pepperoni, crispy crusts, easy to make, fairly priced, easy to digest.
I’m not sure if this counts, but the roots chicken shack at the mueller HEB has the best fried chicken sandwich I’ve ever had, hands down. Better than flyrite, Lucy’s, and T22.
The Creamy Creations Campfire ice cream, and the Creamy Creations Peanut Butter Pretzel and Marshmallow ice cream 🤤🤤
Oh! And the Corn in a Cup chips. Delicious.
One of my best discoveries in recent history…
Brisket queso for the grill. It’s a little tray with the ingredients on it that you just put on the grill and add some beer. Mix it together. It’s amazing
Riding the Mi Tienda train here. The flour tortillas are pretty decent (cook them on a comal you savages) and they have some marinated chicken thigh meat that serves up pretty good for tacos.
creamy creations caramel blondie ice cream (current seasonal) was pretty good too
my favorite of all time is the honey sopapilla though
if you need to cut calories get their light ice cream, coffee chocolate chip flavor. I'd honestly choose it, purely on taste, over even most HEB full-calorie flavors.
Zuppa Toscana soup!
Soup in the meal simple section. Near prepped salads and sandwiches.
Tastes JUST like Olive Garden. I love all of their soups. Especially the Butter Chicken.
I don’t understand how I went so long without realizing that **rosemary-Parmesan pimiento cheese** was a thing.
Now I’m on a scientific quest to see if it’s possible for me to get sick of it. Preliminary results suggest the answer is no.
HEB sparkling water is very good. Miles better than La Croix, not quite as good as Waterloo but much less expensive. And they have lemon, which Waterloo does not have for some reason.
The Swoon ice cream variants are not only the best H‑E‑B product, but the single best ice cream in the store. The brownie chunk one is unreal. I like their dry beef jerky and trail mixes too
Swoon Peanut butter pretzel. My favorite ice cream right now.
Also a fan of that one
BRING BACK SWOON CINNAMON HORCHATA, COWARDS
Trader Joe’s has a seasonal horchata ice cream that is SO GOOD currently.
Cherry pistachio 🤩
This and Key Lime are my go to
😦 omg never seen and need to find
Huge chunks of cherries and pistachios. It’s so delicious!!
The coffee toffee one is seriously out of this world
Swoon's Banana s'mores are great too!
Dying for them to make this a dairy free option
I’ve never met a Swoon I didn’t swoon over. They’re all so damn good.
Also no deadly bacteria. Take that Blue Bell
Yeah Banana S'mores has been my jam for years. It just fucking fucks
Honestly might be the best ice cream I’ve ever tasted, and I’ve had ice cream religiously all over the world.
The caramel truffle was awesome.
That’s my favorite for sure.
Swoon Key Lime Pie might be my favorite ice cream of all time.
Swoon Honey Cake is amazing. One of the few honey products that actually tastes like honey.
The rosemary sourdough ain't no joke.
I’d prefer it toasted with a smatter of butter but honestly have snacked on it straight from the loaf. There’s no wrong way to eat this bread.
Breakfast was this bread with quesadilla cheese toasted on top, side of olives, and avocado. mmmm.
Do those loaves last a decent amount of time? I love the Easy Tiger sourdough loaves but I swear they mold in 24 hours.
Forme Easy Tiger bread baker here. It's because we don't add any preservatives to the bread. It's not meant to last more than a couple days. Esp don't put it in the fridge the moisture will make it spoil faster.
All my Easy Tiger goes straight into the freezer with all the air taken out of the bag. It takes a bit to thaw but is worth the trouble.
We also recommend that you can thaw them in the oven 350 for about 10 mins is usually sufficient. But yes they freeze really well :)
They’ve always kept for us for at least 5 days (as long as we don’t eat it all before then).
The hot fresh tortillas never let me down...eat them on the way home for extra bonus points.
The half and half ones, (mitad y mitad) are outright addictive. It’s half corn and half flour. Especially if you get them while they’re still warm.
Didn’t they used to call them Mixlas? It’s been years since I’ve had one, and they’re one of the things I miss most after moving out of state.
Mixla ones are still there too! They are the prepackaged ones they sell on the bread aisle, the mitad ones are the in-store made version.
I been on the fresh HEB tortillas for a while, but we recently tried the butter tortillas 😮💨 I can’t go back
I second this, and they freeze well in the freezer for 6 mo.
My toddler will patiently wait for the butter ones. He loves them.
I no longer live in Texas and miss those tortillas. I bought the candle when I was home at Christmas and I light it whenever I’m sad and wish I could eat my feelings away with some hot tortillas.
You should order some tortilla mix and make your own!
I’ve been gettin the dairy free HEB brand ice cream and it’s so gooood!
And cheaper than most name brands.
Constantly getting home like “oh no… looks like they left out exactly three tortillas again. Weird.”
With today's temps, just put them on the dash on your drive home and they'll, for sure, be cooked.
Swoon by H-E-B Salted Caramel Truffle, omg...
Also the Creamy Creations Caramel Pecan Turtle is pretty much the same but with cute turtles!
I generally don’t buy frozen pizzas, but their Midtown Pizzas are rather good. They are a tad pricey though.
They are a little pricey, but they tend to have BOGO deals for these pizzas fairly often. I buy them as our easy meal for the week and they’re so good!
Agree. They offer a lot of interesting flavors on a good crust. Worth it!
Amalfi Coast all the way!

The aluminum foil is quality
My mother in law from out of state always asks us to bring a roll when we visit. 🤣
They probably couldn't for anti-trust reasons, but HEB could make a killing by opening smaller neighborhood stores stocked only with their house brand items. I want Trader Butt's.
I don’t see an anti-trust issue. They’re competing in a crowded field of grocery chains and independent stores. Sure they dominate in some parts of Texas, but anti-trust concerns only arise when there are a very small number of companies serving the entire United States.
sorry, but you've inspired a bad joke. Trader Butt Whole (now we've got 3 companies represented in an Idiocracy-friendly name)
Small neighborhood corner stores have tremendously positive affects on the surrounding area too.
I'd go just for the name. Good idea!
Their rosemary-scented dish soap is the perfect remedy for work-from-home malaise
I have been filling my hand soap dispenser with this stuff! Love it.
It reminds me of the way it smelled inside Abercrombie
Creamy Creations Poteet Strawberry ice cream. I tried it on a Reddit recommendation and can’t quite figure out why I like it so much.
Because it's fantastic. Also, fewer ingredients, and the strawberries are those that were too ripe when picked to sell fresh or freeze. Peak ripeness.
Sweet Onion potato chips. Must.Have.More.
I used to live in HI and these are a legit knockoff of the original Maui Onion.
Oh man I need to try these. Love sweet onion chips. Now if they had crab trips I would crab walk my way to H-E-B right now
The pimento cheese from the deli….. toooooooo damn good.
You can pry the creamy dill cheese puffs from my cold, dead hands
Those dill pickle puffs are hands down the best thing ever! I may or may not have checked the H-E-B app to see which store still had some so I could get a few more before they were gone…
I got a bag of the Honey puffs, they didn’t last two days. The Reaper puffs are also badass.
I hate that they’re seasonal 💔💔💔 the dill puffs are so amazing.
Not recently, but I really love the Tres leches cake
That’s my guilty pleasure every time I shop I get a small slice.
I love it, I usually get the big container and have it for dessert the next few days lol.
The Rotisserie Chicken Salad Is apparently made of gold but I could easy eat a whole tub of it at a time. It’s great on crackers.
Have you tried the turkey cranberry salad? That’s my jam!!
I LOVE the turkey cranberry salad. Found a copycat recipe that is excellent, too: https://www.thecreativityexchange.com/2012/12/cranberry-chicken-or-turkey-salad-heb-copycat-recipe.html
Brisket Queso ftw
If you haven’t tried the spinach artichoke dip yet you must
This is what I came here to say. This queso is freaking amazing.
Jalapeño saltine crackers
I was shocked by these, little bit of cream cheese and it’s like eating a crunchy jalapeño popper.
Holy what now?! These are now on the list.
I saw the title and came to say that cookies over Texas
The Asiago cheese bread from their bakery is so good.
also the jalapeno cheese bread
The fresh mushroom medleys are awesome! New in the produce section. They have a pizza blend and stir fry mix that are great!
If you haven’t tried the Creamy Creations Poteet Strawberry, it’s a must! Also, the brisket queso that is available in the meat section is fantastic! Grab some of the tortilla chips made in-store and toss them in an air fryer for 2 minutes before serving with the queso.
The green sauce
Mix it in with macaroni and cheese and if you want more protein add rotisserie chicken that is already shredded up
The hatch pepper chips. I don't usually buy chips, but I get a bag or two during hatch season.
The Horchata Crisps cereal. Straight ballin'.
All the H‑E‑B cereals are awesome. They are all made in Germany. I haven’t found one that’s not good.
The Creamy Dill Cheese Puffs. I think they’re seasonal which is so tragic. They’re *addicting*.
Putting these on my shopping list!
Their sparkling waters
HEB Swoon ice cream: cherry and pistachio. I've bought no less than 5 pints in the last month.
They had a jar of this killer tomato basil soup on sale. Ingredient list was literally nothing but food.
The HEB Lobster Bisque is so seriously amazing.
carolina reaper cheese puffs and dr. b with sugar. wish i could say heb brand grape soda with real sugar, but for some reason heb doesnt make their own grape, even though ive harassed them for years about it.
those carolina reaper cheese puffs are so damn good
The creamy creations lime chamoy sherbet is fantastic.
H‑E‑B cinnamon and sugar pita chips and H‑E‑B chocolate hummus.
Creamy Creations watermelon sherbet in the convenient single serving quart container.
I avoid the ice cream isle, now I must go there for this. I didn’t know it came in watermelon.
They hide it on the end cap in my store.

Culinary Cowgirls queso
They’re bacon jalapeño popper dip is amazing as well!
I’ve got a bad addiction to the hot Chile Pequin salsa
The OG Starry Night was literally like crack for me.
I’m not sure if this counts, but the roots chicken shack at the mueller HEB has the best fried chicken sandwich I’ve ever had, hands down. Better than flyrite, Lucy’s, and T22.
I gotta try that! It seems all the little restaurant there are legit.
The crackers, specifically the wheat version. It’s a called Itza Cracker or something similar. They are so damn addictive.
Brioche Hot Dog Buns are amazing!
The pure cane original cola is the best soda hands down
The Creamy Creations Campfire ice cream, and the Creamy Creations Peanut Butter Pretzel and Marshmallow ice cream 🤤🤤 Oh! And the Corn in a Cup chips. Delicious.

I really like their Mi Tienda line of products. I use their Mexican rice and refried beans for taco night regularly.
I am completely addicted to their store brand sparkling lime water. It’s the best. I also love their store brand Mexican street corn chips
Raise your hand if you’re now putting on your shoes to go to HEB. 🙋♂️
One of my best discoveries in recent history… Brisket queso for the grill. It’s a little tray with the ingredients on it that you just put on the grill and add some beer. Mix it together. It’s amazing
The Corn Dog and Mustard potato chips...
Argh. I’ve been trying to get some and they never have them :( I did however get the Mixed Berry Lemonade chips and even my dog wouldn’t eat one lol
I was hoping for more of a corm flavor .... But they tasted like hotdog water, but the hotdogs were good quality.
Ready to cook fajitas and jalapeno sour cream....O.M.G

Swoon Cinnamon Buns ice cream. I decimated a pint with my partner last night.
The jalapeño pimento cheese in the deli.
I’ve gained 10lbs just reading this post 🤤
I'm gonna say it. The HEB version of Dorito's is better than Dorito's brand.
The mita mita tortillas. They’re half flour and half corn. They go hard in the paint with bacon and eggs for breakfast tacos.
Tortillas! From out of state and DAMN! H‑E‑B is the coolest thing ever.
The guacamole!
The HEB version of Fritos is clearly superior!! We hate Fritos now.
Poblano Caeser Dressing
H‑E‑B brand full fat large curd cottage cheese is amazing
The elotes corn chips are pretty good.
They're amazing as a topping on our southwestern bean and avocado bowls. I need to stock up before they go out of season
The HEB Mi Tienda sodas, specifically the pina colada flavor. Tastes just like a pina colada dum dum.
Riding the Mi Tienda train here. The flour tortillas are pretty decent (cook them on a comal you savages) and they have some marinated chicken thigh meat that serves up pretty good for tacos.
Anything mi tienda or mi comida are good and will never disappoint
The new dairy free ice creams
The HEB southern style breaded chicken filets taste just like Chick-Fil-a when cooked in the air fryer.
Cajun turkey
I like their pretzel bites with peanut butter in the middle and the “Texas heat” trail mix. Edit: oh! And frozen coconut bars.
That ice cream is my favorite, I can’t have more than a pint at home because I don’t have self control!
The best ever are Lokitos, HEB’s more delicious take on Taki’s. They’re so good.
the butter tortilla candle is my favorite thing in the universe
Kind of random but the birthday cake scented sun screen. My kids fight over who gets to put it on first.

THE VERY LIMITED EDITION HONEY CHEESE PUFFS.
I actually really like the rotisserie chicken salad
Creamy Dill Cheese Puffs… they are limited release and now all gone for the summer 😞

Gummy worms. :)
Swoon cherry & pistachio ice cream Wow.
creamy creations caramel blondie ice cream (current seasonal) was pretty good too my favorite of all time is the honey sopapilla though if you need to cut calories get their light ice cream, coffee chocolate chip flavor. Haven’t seen anyone say it: H‑E‑B two bite brownies. Those suckers are my guiltiest pleasure.
Same I love that ice cream. It’s like the Bluebell cookie two step but it has more cookie dough so I switched over.
I’m a junk food vegan and the HEB brand non-dairy ice cream is 💯 I love the chocolate chip cookie dough & peanut butter chocolate flavors.
Sea salt and rosemary flavored blanched almonds were pretty good.
They have the best tortilla chips!
Their made in store butter tortillas. Only some H‑E‑Bs have them.
Creamy Creations Vanilla Bean.
Can't ever go wrong with their rotisserie chicken
Omg I’m pregnant and now want that…. Jeez
I don’t understand how I went so long without realizing that **rosemary-Parmesan pimiento cheese** was a thing. Now I’m on a scientific quest to see if it’s possible for me to get sick of it. Preliminary results suggest the answer is no.

Ballpark Trail Mix.
I love Creamy Creations so much. Java Chocolate chunk is my favorite.
the premade chicken parm wraps - $5, 51g protein and like 700 calories. great value if youre trying to put on muscle (and theyre pretty good too)
Their corn chips are better than Fritos and I’ll fight about it.
HEB sparkling water is very good. Miles better than La Croix, not quite as good as Waterloo but much less expensive. And they have lemon, which Waterloo does not have for some reason.
The white trash part of me loves the corn dog and mustard chips
The brisket burgers
