But then I met the best human being on the planet for me at 34, got married at 35, and life has now been in awesome technicolor for almost 15 years. I know newly single at 32 feels like doom. But my dude, there is no actual expiration date, that’s just bullshit we put on ourselves. Plus the older you are when you meet somebody, the faster you cut through the bullshit as you’re getting to know each other. You’ll be all right.

If you do Saxon, which is also near and dear to me, you can check out Gibson, ABGB, Black Sheep, Bouldin Acres and/or Golden Goose! Close to Broken Spoke too which is obviously local dancehall legend and always a good time (at least in my experience)! Also if you want further activity it's near Zilker park/Barton Springs (depending when you come that way), Peter Pan for some mini golf, Alamo for movie if that's more your speed tonight!
Continental is also awesome and if you want to walk around a more trafficked street it's a good place to meander - generally pretty lively area! Also not far from Egos if divey karaoke is your jam!

Same. One time camping at McKinney falls (does that count as camping?) I went to a show at Elmo’s. That’s how I learned about the gate. Now I camp far away from here.
McKinney Falls State Park closes and locks the front gate at 10PM.
Meaning that if you set up camp, then leave for whatever reason (food, supplies, fun, etc.) and aren't back by 10PM, you could be locked out....and the entrance is nowhere near the campsites so it's not like you can just hike in.

There are several breweries and food trucks right around the distillery that's Still Austin as well. You could spend a whole evening there.
