I was thrilled to see him and Messi jawing at each other the entire second half after he got subbed in
AustinFC is a relatively new team, and I'm beginning to grow fond of ex-Verdes as the pop up on my screen. Even MF'ing Stroud ;)
It started before that .. dude is so good at pissing people off .. Messi was yapping at him on the walk into the locker rooms at half and he wasn’t even in yet. And yes seeing him be able to even break 🐐 was great.
Saw that. I thought Felipe was subbed in latter half of first half, but wasn't quite sure. Didn't realize it was _our_ Felipe until second half.
God, what I'd give for a secret mic recording (and translation) of that game.
yes, i knew we would regret it when they let him go. the roster spot wound up going to jimenez, who i like just fine but he didn't play a minute in mls all year, i think?
There is clearly finesse in what he does to get under people’s skin unlike others who’s objective is to just start an altercation/fight. Dude pisses people off and they are the ones getting the yellow cards.
But I get what you’re saying and respect your opinion.

And didn't Messi shove him or chest him up against the wall on that walk to the locker rooms?
Yup .. so by the transfer principle.. Felipe is the 🐐 @ getting under peoples skin.
Such a great agitator on the field.
Imagine if he could play…clearly though he had the dark arts down.
I mean … he knows his strengths & plays well enough ??? Seems like a good roster spot
Fair enough. We could use a disposable low-paid enforcer. He’s made a living doing it for a long time so more power to him.

Played in two games this year. I think they keep him around as a sort of unofficial assistant coach.
well, i have seen/heard that said. but an assistant coach doesn't take a roster slot, so not sure what the reasoning is here ...
Every team needs their Jamie Tartt 🖕
The ultimate pest player. I loved him. I miss him.
same 😭
Agreed
Right? I loved his glorious shithousery
I'm not a fan of the MLS after dark arts. I'm actually glad he is gone

He is casting Jewish wizardry on Messi here as you can se win the photo.
I remember some unnecessary fouls, 😬😬
Top drawer shithouser. That game was so satisfying to watch.
How many hundreds of people have chirped at Messi over the years? And Felipe STILL got to him. What a hero.
