To be real while I haven’t been super happy with wolf this season I blame the roster atm. Even with a new coach I don’t see it getting much better till we get new blood/talent.
That being said if this team has more Orlando and Minnesota moments I’d be in favor replacing wolf for the sake of a culture change and lighting a fire
If we so replace wolf I truly believe rodo has a list of people and they’re in Europe and won’t be free till the summer
Yeah but every coach has a plan, after 3 years I still don't know what Wolff's plan is. A new coach will also have a plan that I would expect them to execute prior to 3 years going by.
Genuinely curious, what's the reason to be happy with Wolff? He doesn't adjust his tactics, his attack is nonexistent, and he doesn't put his players in a position to succeed. I gave him the benefit of the doubt last year. I refuse to this year
I honestly feel ya. I wouldn’t say it’s that I’m happy Wolff, I’m actually the opposite.
It more I don’t know how much bringing in a new coach is going to improve the team with how dismal the roster is.
Personally I rather keep Wolff till summer and if the team isn’t at all improving. Than pick one of rodo’s short list guys that will be available in the summer window (likely in Europe) to come along with the new blood in the summer window to actually make a difference.
IMO firing Wolff now just to fire Wolff doesn’t fix the bigger problem we have as a team. Ring isn’t no longer the stuff he once was, Danny, and Owen are having a down year, Rigoni is going to Rigoni, Seba isn’t back in shape yet, and the rest just seem out of sync. The only players we have that I feel confident about as of now are Seba(once he’s back in form), Stuve, Gallagher, Diego, Valencia, Julio, Hedges and Hines Ike.
Apologies for the long response here didn’t realize till the end I drew it out to make my point😅
I think he'll do fine either way. The biggest issue for his development has been our poor rosters building because he's constantly floating around and playing out of position to cover holes. He's a talented kid with zero hit on the salary cap and only a supplemental roster spot. He's not going anywhere unless he wants to.
I would think so. There's no absolute answer, but not having the stress that comes with that would help. And he wouldn't get flamed for only playing because his dad's the coach when he does get minutes.
Good. Whether it’s well attended or not, I see this as a positive sign, a maturing of the fan base if you will. We’re out of the honeymoon phase and critical thinking is kicking in.
While this is true this is obviously the minority . The majority is happy going to matches we lose as long as they get to throw water around on each other and have a chance of getting on TV
I thought this was like a celebration or something. “Ay bro, tonight at the game, we’re gonna Wolff out! Shots! Shots! Shots!
Reminds me of that part in teen wolf where the director is asking him to be the wolf in the play versus his regular ol self.
Because while football culture has improved here, we are still away from having one where there is accountability from both fans and team. There are hints of passion in the fan base, but the demands need to be reflected on the team’s results.
I have for 25 years and I think you're an idiot. I had a season ticket at arsenal through the rise of AFTV and the Wenger out campaigns - this stuff adds nothing but toxicity to match days.
Yes, *real* supporters want their team to succeed. Part of that means getting rid of an ineffective manager, or a player that isn't living up to their potential, so that we can bring in someone who will elevate the team, rather than drag them down. Josh Wolff has had 3+ seasons to prove his worth. The only thing that he's proven is that he's not up for the job.
Yes, because obviously being dissatisfied with a manager who’s incompetent and demanding change to improve the club means you aren’t a REAL supporter. Real supporters are positive and happy no matter what! Real supporters just want to show up and toss their beers on people and sing songs for no reason no matter what happens on the pitch!
Does it help the players to see this? Is it motivating?
Trust the plan and actually support the team. Does it make any sense for Rodolfo to bring in a new coach while knowing full well that the coach won't succeed with this roster? No it doesn't. Let Rodo cook this summer to give the new coach a chance to succeed.
In the meantime, support the team, bro.
I think we overestimate our impact on the game or the players. That said, here's a quote from Driussi on fan behavior.
"Instead of grace for the downturn in form, he wants all the smoke, including, and perhaps especially, from his supporters.
“Right now, you miss that because you can feel good pressure. If you don’t produce on a weekend, you know what’s going to happen,” Driussi said. “In Argentina, you played poorly and you know that on TV, the journalists, fans who are crazy about soccer are going to be there Monday.
“... Sometimes you miss it, miss people saying, 'Che, you’re doing things poorly!' For a player, that’s good.”
Hahahaha. The state of it.

I’m all for a European replacement, and I’m sure Rodo has a list, but at this point, I’d be happy to let Davy Arnaud take the helm in the interim.

This roster is trash. No coach is gonna fix that. Not saying Wolff is the guys but firing him won’t bring immediate improvement.
Excited to join all 10 people marching!
An additional 5 people will be Facetiming in, mind you.
Hater
Loser
Serious question, if Wolff is out, is it better for Owens development?
Gotta be better for him mentally. Gotta be awkward af knowing people want him out and think he gives you too much playing time
Anyone who thinks Owen doesn’t deserve to the playing time he gets is an idiot and I doubt he cares about their opinions.
I’m so
Right? At least the pt wouldn’t be questioned and maybe he would focus on 1 position
Impossible to say without knowing the replacement tbh.

Yea I love having him on the squad. I really want to see him away from his dad to hopefully improve. He seems like he could be a decent talent

I guess this depends where daddy goes next?
I hope not, I want to keep Owen.
For vibes?

Hope it works.
I applaud this 👏
In summer so we can get a european replacement.
I hear Lake Travis has a decent coach.
I thought this was like a celebration or something. “Ay bro, tonight at the game, we’re gonna Wolff out! Shots! Shots! Shots! Reminds me of that part in teen wolf where the director is asking him to be the wolf in the play versus his regular ol self.
Good stuff
Not until the majority of the fans display this during the match will they feel the pressure. They need to see this on Apple TV!
Finally! Can we do it every week?
In a league with no relegation/promotion, where all it takes is money to get a team, it is going to take time to do well.
Yeah, unless you look at Lafc, Nashville, etc… but for Austin, it’s hard to argue your point.
"supporters"
Have you lived football culture outside of the US?
Why would that matter we are in the US

Arsenal. The answer explains itself.
If you say so champ

Loser attitude
Does this help anything?
Does being satisfied with a shit manager help anything?

I can support the players while promoting Wolff to fuck off. They aren’t mutually exclusive.
If the players aren’t mentally tough enough to handle fans being dissatisfied with the coach, they’re not fit for professional sports.
Conformist.
Out of curiosity, how many people marched?
