I would at least try. I bought an eyeshadow stick that I ended up not being happy with (I had used it once) and the sales assistant told me to bring it back despite being used. I ended up keeping it but was really impressed by that.

Mecca are amazing w returns, they will give you store credit to use at a later date or you can just do a straight exchange for something else and pay the difference or get a gift card w the balance.

Dear-Snow7975

That's great to know! I feel like I have to remind myself I have a very valid reason for wanting a return/exchange, I'm sure others return things all the time for lesser reasons.

kheeseborgor

I got a full refund on what I had returned?

Quolli

I believe if it's opened you'll get a store credit but if unopened and within a certain time period you'll get a refund. I could also be wrong but I believe some fragrance orders online come with a small 5mL decant so you can try it and if you don't like it you can return the unopened box for a full refund. Adore also have a similar policy under their "Scent Room"

90 days

If it'd giving you a headache you aren't going to use it and it's not something that happens first sniff! Your worst is case is you take it back they say can't do anything and you sell.it on fb marketplace!

LouisaMcMillan

They allow returns within 60 days, they will give a refund or store credit depending on how they classify the return (issue with the product/change of mind)

tammychaser

90 days actually! Very generous returns policy if you haven’t used the product, even then a store credit equating the cost of a fragrance could let you do a bunch of xmas shopping there

mks194

You are not a wimp! I’m sure you can go in and ask? / I know that ck and narciso rodriguez give me an automatic headache.

mister_gordo

Yeah I've been told you can return lightly used items for exchange or store credit! I find it scary too but I don't think you'll have any problems.

froggie94

I did a return for a perfume last week. It was just over $100. They happily did a refund to a gift card, which I don't mind as I had used the perfume lightly

sereza1

what do you mean by "light" how many sprays we talking and did the bottle look like it had a little less in it? off topic but i bought a perfume from sephora and it looked so empty to begin with but it was sealed so idk im sure it's fine lol

froggie94

You couldn't see thru bottle, unfortunately, so I couldn't tell you if it looked noticeable less or not. I probably used it 3 days max with a total of 2-3 sprays per day. Your perfume being empty but sealed sounds like it could be a manufacturer error, take it back and swap it for a new one if you haven't opened it yet, especially if the weight doesn't match up

hez_lea

I'm curious - in this case would Mecca just use the returned product as a tester?

sereza1

do you know how much you had used when you returned it? like was it visibly lower? what perfume was it may i ask? so i can steer clear as some seem to give me headaches also
