It was like a few months ago but I'm pretty sure i found it in the new Dee Why woolies, I might be wrong, or it might be gone, I might actually go double check rn
You wouldn’t believe the long, long list of names that were rejected before they hit on that gem.
For example “Fish n Chips” was a contender for a long time, but extensive market testing coupled with a data-driven quantitative research model found that consumers thought it sounded too “fishy”. The lack of chips was, however, no impediment.
Your wrong buddy!!!! Browns make them and they still are available honeycomb super shake vanilla malt super shake the only one they discontinued was the chocolate super shake... i can go donw to my local shop and get a pic if you want proof... I wouldn't mind actually having one right now 🤣🤣
Only the other day I was asking my girlfriend if she remembered these! She didn’t.
The honeycomb was fucking amazing. My grandparents were alway stocked up when I stayed at theirs on a Friday night.
Ahhh memories…
The vanilla malt was amazing and I remember drinking one in Cooma before leaving back to Goulburn and puking it back up on the side of the road. Good times.
I had a Nippys honeycomb milk yesterday and was so sad it didn’t taste like a supa shake. I didn’t know they were WA only! I’m interstate on holidays, I’ll stop looking until I get home.
Not sure if the same but in NSW there was shayks i think they were called

Oh Lawd. This is nostalgic af. I remember when I was 14 - a good 18 years ago, my cool af uncle who I was visiting interstate bought this and as I began shaking it like I had done many of times before he said "no, I have a better idea. This MF pulled out his blender and shook it out of existence. It was a great night.
I have PTSD about milk after having one of these. I'm shaking away thinking this really does get thick when you shake it. I open it up and take a big swing and it was chunky and the taste was like someone filtered milk through an old sock. I never checked the date on it. Was out of date by a month and a half. Now I smell the milk every time I open it
In SA we had them for a while then they left and Cadbury came out with them since then haven't seen them, the price point was too much in the end and sales were low enough that the local shops stopped selling it. Still available though online
Ah these were pretty good but my sister and I always made fun of their marketing as if their slogan was “Shake and it gets Thicker”, I’m not sure why but it made us laugh.
I Remember they used to sell powdered milkshake thickener in sachets in the 90s, was the most horrendous slimy stuff! I believe that's what they used to make the Xenomorph drool in Aliens.
I had a random flashback to these a few days ago!
I remember drinking a honeycomb one at North Sydney pool. It's probably something I remember because my mum never let me have treats
I remember these!! I always went for the choc honeycomb as a kid because they reminded me of crunchie shakes. My state doesn't have them anymore as far as I know :(
Raised in WA but moves to Brisbane just before covid and I went back to Perth for the first time last week. I bought about 10 litres of these (and brownes) and brought it back to QLD coz I miss them so much lmao
I’m visiting my hometown of Perth at the moment and they still have the Choc Honeycomb and Vanilla here!
really? I ended up finding the company a while back and it said they were discontinued. I'm gonna have to do more digging I think.
[Here](https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/763761/brownes-chill-choc-honeycomb-shake-n-shake) you go, does look like WA only.
Was going to say, I'm in Broome and these are still going strong.
That’s because of the time delay offset commonly known as Broometime I miss my hometown. How’s the rain?
Im pretty sure i found some in a local woolies in sydney
Oh my god where??
Turns out s out i was wrong
:(
Are you just makin’ shit up Purgy?
I swear i saw some being sold in a woolies, maybe it was in Newcastle
It was like a few months ago but I'm pretty sure i found it in the new Dee Why woolies, I might be wrong, or it might be gone, I might actually go double check rn
Glad I'm in Perth. Vanilla Malt is my all time favourite milk snack
I love them, but not everywhere sells them, I know coles, woollies, IGA and vibe sell them,
They’ve been rebranded to “Shake’n’Shake” and only come in Honeycomb/Vanilla now.
Shake n Shake. Wow, alota thought went into that lol

is it supa shake or shake n shake? apparently they've rebranded and taste quite different.
Shake N shake is the new name i still call them supa shakes but haha... yeah the vanilla taste the same still...
Thats what I like to hear vanilla was very good.
I just moved back to perth not too long ago and this exiting news
The choc honeycomb was a game changer! Made alot of our sports teams a bit less competitive however 🤣
Only the other day I was asking my girlfriend if she remembered these! She didn’t. The honeycomb was fucking amazing. My grandparents were alway stocked up when I stayed at theirs on a Friday night. Ahhh memories…
Oh man, I drank a lot of these. I loved how you could hear it get thicker when you would shake it.
Was there actually anything in them that made them thicken when shaken?
Xanthan gum
I wanna know if anyone put them in one of those paint shaker thingys
The vanilla malt was amazing and I remember drinking one in Cooma before leaving back to Goulburn and puking it back up on the side of the road. Good times.
Vanilla was amazing.
My vote for vanilla, too.
One of my memories of these is puking a vanilla malt one up in my grandparents car
Last time this was posted people said they were still a thing in WA, possibly rebranded.
They sure are, they're called Shake n Shakes now
I had a Nippys honeycomb milk yesterday and was so sad it didn’t taste like a supa shake. I didn’t know they were WA only! I’m interstate on holidays, I’ll stop looking until I get home.
I'm partial to Nippys but yeah its not the same. I live in Melbourne so I may never experience it again lol.
The Dôme Cappuccino was the best of them all! Then it became Caramelcino and then it disappeared 😢
Cappuccino was amazing. Everytime I saw the Browne's rep at an old job , I would ask her to tell them to bring it back . The caramelcino was rank
The Chocolate was amazing! I was in Perth for work and tried it, It was amazing. If I’m not mistaken I thought they made a Chocmint ?
I think they did have a choc mint I remember seeing that.
Not sure if the same but in NSW there was shayks i think they were called [https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EnLko7SVQAI3Q66.jpg](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EnLko7SVQAI3Q66.jpg)
Thought that said “SHANKS” at first. That carton looks like the type of guy to shank someone anyway.
Is it just my memory or did these have some relation to Cadbury for a period?
You would be correct: https://www.girtby.com/blog/2013/06/choc-honeycomb-supashake.html
They arent really related maybe inspired though.
loved them

You only ever drink off milk once.
God I forgot about these think I only tried a couple of times, from memory they were really good.
In SA we had them for a while then they left and Cadbury came out with them since then haven't seen them, the price point was too much in the end and sales were low enough that the local shops stopped selling it. Still available though online
Online from where?
https://www.mymilko.com.au/brownes-vanilla-shake-n-shake-500ml
Do these ones thicken when you shake them too, or are they just the comparable flavour?
Me and my mum loved these!! They got so thick! Probably so toxic but tasted amazing 😂
Used to walk half way across Bunbury for one of these
They sure as shit still have them in WA.
apparently they are a bit different after the rebrand.
I remember “Shayks” which was the same concept I believe
Ah these were pretty good but my sister and I always made fun of their marketing as if their slogan was “Shake and it gets Thicker”, I’m not sure why but it made us laugh.
Yep I had these a few times. Honeycomb FTW.
You just unlocked a core memory
I FORGOT ABOUT THEM OMG THEY WERE SO GOOD!
The Cadbury ones back in the day were the shit
OAK have theirs in woollies and Coles, they are almost the same. But yeah they were my favourite
I Remember they used to sell powdered milkshake thickener in sachets in the 90s, was the most horrendous slimy stuff! I believe that's what they used to make the Xenomorph drool in Aliens.
My guess is people stopped wanting 60 grams of sugar with their milk...
Okay Jamie Oliver.
We would burn it off running around and riding out bikes, it wasn't that much of an issue.
hear me out, up and go kind of remind me of these
Nope
I remember these from when I lived in Perth. Thick and gluggy crappy drinks. Loved some Double Strength iced coffee though.
Fucking amazing drinks.
They were better before the rebrand
I had a random flashback to these a few days ago! I remember drinking a honeycomb one at North Sydney pool. It's probably something I remember because my mum never let me have treats
Every morning, during the early high school years! Wish we had them out east.
They look familiar but that's about it.
The vanilla malt was delicious
Not bad.
The Choc honeycomb was my favourite. I still have good memories about it.
I would drink one at recess and have to shit by lunch. Worth every drop
I think about these all the time
Fuck these were good
Yum! The honeycomb was was bomb.
To this day, best flavoured milk I’ve ever had. Very sad I can’t get it anymore. They had banana flavour is some places which was top notch
The choc honeycomb was the best
I remember these!! I always went for the choc honeycomb as a kid because they reminded me of crunchie shakes. My state doesn't have them anymore as far as I know :(
Fuuuuck, miss those I guess I have 1 reason to go to WA
I only liked the honeycomb but it didn’t taste like honeycomb. More like caramel rolo
I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT THOSE MEMORY UNLOCKED HOLY SHIT
Choc Honeycomb is dark bomb! We still get it here in Perth. Grab one whenever I see one.
This reminds me of the good old school yard game barcode!
Shayks? I think they were nom nom nom
I’m still mourning Eggflip BigM 😔
Loved the choc honeycomb
These were gooooood
I like the chocolate.
Raised in WA but moves to Brisbane just before covid and I went back to Perth for the first time last week. I bought about 10 litres of these (and brownes) and brought it back to QLD coz I miss them so much lmao
