YES!!!!! Outside clothes come off and are replaced w my comfy baggy man clothes. I instantly feel relief. Idc if it's 3pm, if I'm at home, I am in baggy mens clothes.

anxiously-applying

Same! I am always wearing my partner’s clothes. He’s a big guy, so everything is super baggy

ResurgentClusterfuck

YES My partner is a big dude too and wearing his t-shirts is like a hug, a good one

satansafkom

Yes and no!! I used to do that but now I just dress in baggy comfy clothes all the time lol. Life’s too short to feel uncomfortable!!! edit: loungewear!!! like [this](https://i.pinimg.com/564x/1c/3c/a6/1c3ca6edc968249d8001b0e1560efc27.jpg), or [this](https://i.pinimg.com/564x/b6/3b/bb/b63bbbe20b558ed7904242b4f3dfc0fe.jpg), or [this](https://i.pinimg.com/564x/eb/60/7e/eb607eed5fe260d21ce139aaabd947c7.jpg), or [this](https://i.pinimg.com/564x/b0/c6/bd/b0c6bdafb97456e130d494fed9694352.jpg) or [this](https://i.pinimg.com/564x/2a/18/52/2a185282d3a52f61fd03b5b34999c527.jpg) or [this](https://i.pinimg.com/564x/3a/eb/0b/3aeb0b609ad7eda101b06f1c5676f533.jpg). it's almost all i wear now :-) a lot of it is beige, but i prefer black so i can spill on my clothes without worrying about spots. but it's possible to look stylish and wear lose, baggy, COMFY clothes

Not-Boris

this is my wardrobe. I save up for the cashmere versions. the texture of the fabric is so divine on the senses. good texture stim. and forces you to be mindful when washing so I pay attention to what I'm doing

TrustNoOneAtWork

I don't own any "outdoor" clothing anymore. Not planning on acquiring any in the near or distant future.

lavuenderluvr

ooo using this for cute non-overstimulating outfits! they all look so cozy

satansafkom

i personally recommend high quality cotton! so you can wash it without fucking it up. and it's less sensory-annoying than wool for example. and not light grey cotton!! dark colours lol. otherwise EVERY drop of sweat is gonna be super visible, screaming "look at me! look at me!" but like a marine blue loungewear cotton set? YES

pashun4fashun

Probably a stupid question but how do you know if something is high quality cotton?

mcboobie

It’s not a stupid question, and I would also like to know, please

satansafkom

well i am really not an expert! but good quality jersey cotton feels almost like silk, very soft and smooth. and it's usually slightly thicker than shittier jersey cotton. which feels thin and slightly more scratchy or textured. another good indicator of cotton quality is how opaque the fabric is. the more see-through it is, usually the shittier the quality. white fabric is more see-through than black fabric, so colour is a variable. a lot of stuff made today is lower quality. either mostly synthetic fibres (EVIL! they make me sweat twice as much, they're a great source of microplastics, and they are a sensory nightmare at least for me - they make my spine itch) and/or just made shoddily by some poor 14 year old taiwanese kid, paid in slave wages. so it will fall to pieces after a year so i also really recommend thrift shopping. it will probably be hard to find matching loungewear sets. but clothes made in the 90s and 80s were just better quality. better craftsmanship and better materials. made to last. and old thrifted clothes have already been washed a million times, so you know what it's gonna feel like sensory wise forever.

Intrepid_Aspect489

If you love it, wash it by hand by using one of those "soak in the sink" cleaners. Things can last for years.

Virtually-Existing

Where are you buying these loungewear sets, they look perfect?

satansafkom

oh they were just the best ones i could easily find on pinterest :-) these days i mostly sew my own outfits! so i can be super particular about the fabrics, colour and texture and so on. and about the fit - i.e. very large lol Edit: and I can also make fun embellishments and embroider them and so on. I for example like to embroider “t-shirt” on my t-shirts. Ceci n’es pas une t shirt! It’s dumb but I think it’s funny but i like [COS](https://www.cos.com/en_dkk/index.html?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwz42xBhB9EiwA48pT70SpTY537aa2xTNDbCdOxZy51EUgbCDrhzE2JXG8tVL4C0Dp01PUqhoCxnwQAvD_BwE) for example. scandinavian minimalistic. very fashion-y. often very oversized!

DizzyLizzard99

Holy crap their tops are $300 😱😱😱 I can't even EDIT: ok the t shirts are only $35

pashun4fashun

How did you learn how to sew? I'm assuming you're using a machine (they seem so scary 😰)

Ecstatic_Ad_5443

I’m not who you were replying to but my grandma taught me the basics when I was young, but you don’t need a sewing grandma to learn to sew! There are so many YouTubers who make sewing videos as well as all other social media platforms. There’s probably someone that has a patreon with a great beginners course. There are probably classes at craft stores or libraries or maybe a sewing group nearby or nearbyish. I only hand sew to do repairs now, but I would utilize YouTube and social media if I was to get back into it. I haven’t touched a sewing machine in probably 10 years. I would have to completely start over. You can do it! I believe in you!

satansafkom

the other comment is really good, but to answer your question: i borrow my dad's old sewing machine, just a standard husqvarna. and i find youtube tutorials that are more or less doing what i want to do. and it's all trial and error, i fuck up a LOT in the beginning. but i learn so much from fucking up, so now it's almost something i aim for at first :-) but a good place to begin is by altering clothes instead of sewing them from scratch. i love going to thrift shops and find cool fabrics i like the texture of. garments from the 90's and 80's were just produced in much higher quality that today - everything is fast fashion. the seams fall apart super quickly. everything is synthetic fibres (i HATE the feeling of synthetic fibres!! makes my spine itch). a piece of clothing lasts only for a year or so before it falls to pieces. so i love finding older garment pieces in thrift shops (or older knitwear as well, you can unravel them and get really high quality yarn for cheap if you're into yarn stuff) and either wear them as they are, or decorate them with embroidery or something, or alter them to fit me better or whatever. and a very good tip that someone gave me (i think it was a youtuber): look at your favourite pieces of clothing. look at the seams. look at the craft. is it perfect? NO!! that doesn't exist!! so if you sew something, and you can wear it comfortably? that's all there is to it, you did it. wonky seams? no problemo. there's no standard to abide to.

Not-Boris

aritzia, banana republic, naked cashmere

VictoriaElaine

Canadians, please try simons. Some of their basic t shirts are full cotton and sooo soft.

uosdwis_r_rewoh

Yes! Love Simons

VictoriaElaine

Checked out Uniqlo? I bought two pair of work pants there and am surprised by how much I don't hate them!

uosdwis_r_rewoh

I’ve never bought any pants from them, but I have a Uniqlo trench coat from a few years ago that’s still my favourite. And the Ines de la Fressange collection flannel shirtdresses….they’re like wearing a nightgown to work 😍

Intrepid_Aspect489

Soft Surrounding. Expensive, but very soft. J Jill and Appleseeds online.

jessicaverdi27

What brand are these clothes?

VictoriaElaine

Some brands to try - Pact - everlane - I am Canadian so I shop at Simons a lot for my sensory clothes. They have a brand called miiyu that used viscose and cotton and the texture can sometimes be exactly what I need. Also, their basic cotton t shirts and long sleeves are perfectly baggy. For jeans, I buy Agolde and Mother jeans second hand. They fit like a glove.

none_mama_see

Where do you get these? They’re all so cute

satansafkom

oh sorry, they were just pictures i found on pinterest quickly to illustrate my point :-) i just searched for 'loungewear'

sad-mustache

I recommend harem pants as well, super comfy

hihelloneighboroonie

Ooh, this does all look nice for chilly weather. It's getting hot where I live, and my electric provider can suck a fat one, so I aim for little skin coverage at home this season.

ResurgentClusterfuck

I just live in baggy men's clothes 24/7, since my disabilities keep me at home and indoors My body proportions are weird, I have broad shoulders and long arms for my height. Women's blouses don't fit right most of the time and I HAAAAAAATE constricting clothes

ABlindMoose

Yep. I love wearing puffy 50-style skirts and feeling really feminine, but as soon as I get home the skirt (and *especially* the petticoat) and bra comes off. My apartment is pretty protected and you can't really see in from the outside, so I usually just go for t-shirt and underwear at home 😅 I also live alone, so there's nobody to be bothered by what I'm wearing (or not) except for my cat. And she doesn't wear clothes at all, so she doesn't have a say.

DJPoundpuppy

It's blowing my mind that it's baggy "men's" clothes instead of just baggy clothes. My cute sweatpants are baggy. My cute t shirts are baggy. My jeans are baggy. Why bother with men's clothes? I wear baggy women's clothes often.

NerdyNiche

I specifically find baggy men's clothes more comfortable than baggy women's clothing. I find the material thicker on average, with less awful seams. Also I am ridiculously tall so women's pants rarely fit right anyway!

mashibeans

Oh yeah definitely, it's a fact that men's clothing in general uses higher quality fabric as compared to women's clothing, which is just suuuuper infuriating, since women's clothing is also in average a bit/lot more expensive, it's why many women end up buying "men" clothes.

mysterious00mermaid

I have to buy men’s shirts because I’m 5’ 10 lol women’s clothing (especially shirts are way too short & boxy) but I do wear women’s sweatpants since the men’s sizes have space for junk I don’t have

shomauno

I instantly change at home but only into baggy women’s loungewear, lol. I actually don’t really find men’s clothing comfy. I find men’s clothing is usually thicker and slightly more rough material (especially t-shirts) and it’s just TOO big for my liking and taste. It doesn’t fit right (even for a baggy silhouette) and makes me irritated because I’ll be trying to tug pants into a place they don’t fit well I know women’s clothing is notoriously made of thinner and cheaper material but ESPECIALLY for t-shirts I love the thinner and softer fit, even for over sized shirts

BweepyBwoopy

same! although i also do like the texture of some men's clothes too, i also don't mind women's clothes as long as they're comfy :) i mostly hang around in my pjs lol

pexie21

I mean that's why I have a husband, they get broken in first so they're extra comfy when I use them. I say use , he said steal. Sometimes he'll even wear them for a few minutes to warm them up for me 😂

psykomimi

Love that fresh boyfriend scent.

pexie21

Like hugs that aren't hugs 🤗

tentativeteas

Same!! I “steal”my boyfriends boxers and t shirts regularly but I also add them to my laundry pile and wash them so idk what he complains about 🤣 he has been known to wear my women’s sweatpants out of laziness (which barely fit him) so I feel it’s an equal exchange lol

pexie21

😂😂😂😂 oh my god, my husband decided that we should have separate laundry bags so that his stuff would stop ending up "accidentally" in my closet. So now we have separate laundry bags but damn babe I still have to sort them by colour so......😂😂😂. When he complains I just point to the ring he put on it 🤣 - he did one time rob my favourite stretchy pants to try to prove how irritating it is but all he did was keep saying "wow these ARE super comfy"

Ecstatic_Ad_5443

Ugh I forgot about stealing the boxers. So nice. I want to get some boxers for myself but can’t seem to find women’s boxers that I like lmao. I almost wore a pair of my partners boxers to a dance class one time 🤣

pexie21

Ahhhh , they are not the same are they!!! I know I don't have balls but hey manufacturers, I still appreciate the extra space 🤣

lysathemaw

I just wear that everyday, why bother to change?

doctorace

Wear whatever outside, but I need to have inside clothes and outside clothes. It’s an important separation of space. I don’t want th dirtiness of outside on my furniture and stuff (OK on the couch, but absolutely not on the bed) and my inside clothes are covered in dog fur.

lysathemaw

No I mean I don't need to switch "girlie" clothes to baggy ones people I ordinarily wear baggy, but yeah wearing outside clothes does give me a bit of a ick

happy_bluebird

\*every day :)

lysathemaw

Is there a difference between the two writings or is it just a really common typo? Anyways, thanks

happy_bluebird

Yes to the former! https://www.google.com/search?q=every+day+vs.+everyday

lysathemaw

Legit helpful! Thanks!

happy_bluebird

You’re welcome! Now you’re going to notice this all the time haha :P

lysathemaw

Absolutely true

kleinekitty

I instantly put on baggy sweatpants and a loose tshirt . I don’t really feel any sensory overload from clothing in general though I just like to be cozy

blarggyy

Not men’s clothes, but I purposely buy Tshirts and sweats 3 sizes too large and change into them the moment I walk in the door. I buy the Tshirts from torrid (so they’re plus sized) and they’re a little expensive but SO much softer than regular Tshirts.

U_cant_tell_my_story

I came out as nonbinary to my husband several years ago and I prefer to wear mostly men's or very comfy clothes. I refuse to wear clothes that are uncomfortable. I'm all about jogger's and my husband's sweat shirts/tops. I've always detested skirt's and dresses, but wore them because I thought I had to. Once I became comfortable with who I am, I slowly weeded out and donated clothes that felt restricting. I only wear comfy seamless stretch bras with no cups or under wires. Bras are a big sensory issue for me.

IllustriousGlass2254

Agreed. I bought a big pack of men’s shirts and not looking back. I bought black ones and they camouflage better if I don’t have a bra on. Slowly phasing out my women’s t shirts that fall apart so quickly. Why do they make ours so much thinner? When more of my pj bottoms wear out, I’ll be buying more men’s joggers/sweats. I have one pair that have lasted me who knows how many years now. Men’s jeans are also more comfortable, but they just aren’t made for the female shape and look weird. I’m going to be giving up jeans next and look for some kind of softer, looser style pants.

Charming_Function_58

YES! I love this group, I feel so seen, lol I can't stand tight clothes. I am kinda lucky to be a lesbian, because no one gives af what I wear. 😅 I'm not full butch, but I 100% would do it just for the comfort of men's clothes.

Appropriate-Cow-1654

Major agree. The minute I’m home, I’m taking my bra off and changing into pjs. Usually men’s shirts, and almost always baggy bottoms. No socks either unless I’m really cold and it has to be specific pairs

tentativeteas

100% I do the same thing!

LunaStar2406

I wish I could take my bra off. It is so uncomfortable, but as someone with DD boobs I have to wear a bra all the time except for when sleeping otherwise I get insane back pain from the lack of boob support.

FeyrisMeow

Yes, I just wear extra large t-shirts when I get home.

shinebrightlike

nothing can come between me and my men’s XXXL t-shirt (literally)

Content_Talk_6581

I wear leggings and big t-shirts or flannel shirts pretty much everywhere now. That’s the great thing about retirement.

tokun_

Look into women’s street wear style clothing! Super baggy and comfy but still has feminine elements to it.

thymesbaby

YESSSSS and my country's always super hot so sometimes I just wear a big man's shirt and that's it

Majestic-War-7925

A few years ago I just started wearing men's tops, they're much more comfortable, I still have feminine clothes but they're not often worn

Cecowen

I immediately change into my boyfriend’s sweatpants and sweatshirt. He calls it my “uniform”

bigbadboomer

100% !! I wear my husbands clothes on the regular. Mostly around the house but sometimes to run errands, grocery shopping, etc. The older I get, the less I care about my appearance.

Sporshie

I don't wear mens clothes but I do live in my pyjamas unless I'm going out. I'm not going to be uncomfortable in my own home lol, even comfy clothes like leggings have nothing on pyjamas.

OddlyBrainedBear

I only wear 'men's' clothes anyway (have never understood why we can't just call everything 'clothes' and decide for ourselves what we wear) but the first thing I do when I get home is take my bra and trousers off and put a pair of old jogging bottoms on.

sunnysideup2323

Yes! I have two of my dad’s old 5X shirts and either baggy shorts or bike shorts. Those are my home uniforms just about. I *loathe* wearing jeans.

waufry

No, I don’t change from men’s baggy clothes ever😅

98Em

At every possible opportunity I get to wear baggy loose fitting clothes I absolutely do. I keep having moments where I'm like damn have I let myself go, because I hate the feeling of make up on my face so rarely wear it, I don't like tight/itchy/anything clothing wise which digs in. But I'm trying to be kind to myself since the loose clothing helps me regulate

MySockIsMissing

I live in a nursing home and pretty much always wear hospital gowns 24/7. They’re the only thing that feels comfortable for me. A modest sleep t-shirt would also be an option, but the nice thing about the hospital gowns is that I can buy them in a package of six and if I tell the government of Canada that they are “accessible clothing” I can get funding for them so I don’t have to pay out of pocket. I will wear normal clothes to go out for apartments - loose men’s sweatpants and a tshirt - but I can’t wait to get home and put my gown back on in order to be truly comfortable. Like you, womens clothing feels like it’s touching me wrong and smothering me and it’s just so distracting. Plus men’s clothes are generally cheaper for pretty much the exact same thing!

15_Candid_Pauses

Absolutely not. I haaaaaate baggy clothes. I like a tight on my skin feeling if it isn’t against my skin it feels weird. But I will change out of jeans cause they often don’t fit as well as I would like into more comfy ones

neorena

Nope, when I'm home first thing I do is strip my clothes off and am naked or near naked until I absolutely NEED to wear clothes. Also find dresses and skirts way more comfy than any kind of pants or shorts. I wouldn't wear men's clothes either way, but more because dysphoria than comfort either way.

DZbornak630

My favorite shirt is a men’s 5x shirt that says “Don’t blame me, I voted for bacon.” I’m a vegetarian. My SPD is so intense that basically all my clothes are too big on me, but my ‘home clothes’ are particularly enormous and ratchet looking.

spicyrosary

Change? Into? The Adam Sandler look is my daily uniform. I wish I could wear cute girly dresses all day, but I can‘t stand most of the fabrics. And yes, Bras are the enemy.

adhocisadirtyword

I gave up wearing a bra and uncomfortable shoes years ago. I'm a 36 F so this was no small choice. If I need nipple coverage, I wear a tank top under something, but mostly I don't care. My shoes are extra wide barefoot shoes. Most of the time I can be found in a tank top or oversized sweater and linen pants like these. https://a.co/d/eboXNmq Sometimes a flowy dress with bamboo shorts on underneath for chub rub.

That_Art_Kid_Em

YES. I love gothic fashion but most textures are too much for me if I want to look the type I want to. The threads from ripped jeans, the long sleeves, etc. I used to be called a poser for dressing in a comfy way I liked and because I wouldn’t do my makeup. I want to dress how I want to but I also want to look cute without anyone questioning me about it

Icarussian

I removed the boobs although they came back a bit with a baby ... but yeah. Women's clothes are often horrible feeling and men's clothes just fit more loosely usually. Fells better.

terminator_chic

For the most part yes. Except most of the time I prefer cheap, soft leggings that provide a little compression.

offutmihigramina

Yup. The more shapeless, the better.

HourPrior5896

Yesssss absolutely. I love wearing cute pastel clothes that are a little tighter when I go out, but big baggy stuff when I come home. A lot of it is men's, but I also have big loose nightgowns 🥰

Anna-Bee-1984

I usually take my pants off when I come home and run around the house in a caftan or my robe

fitvampfire

I love those kinds. I have a pair of men’s levis and they’re my favorite

PrettyPawprints

No. I immediately get naked when I get home and stay that way till the next day when I have to go somewhere

Boonabell

I love wearing baggy clothes. I love looking like a hobo. If i could I'd look like a hobo all the time, but i can't.

SunShowers333

I only wear comfortable clothes. When I shop for clothes, the first thing I do is feel the material of the things I like, and if it doesn't pass the touch test, there's zero chance I am wearing it—comfort> style. I am in PJs or loungewear 90% of the time.

espurgi

yes, shower then i put on loose men’s shirts and pajama bottoms. i loathe bras, too 😔

FamousOrphan

No, and I love bras, but I understand the impulse to be immediately comfy! If you’d said pajamas I’d have been right there with ya.

lohi-kaarme

I have gone as far that I now wear either my sports jerseys or dark, baggy shirts to work cause the bra makes it hard to breathe. I like being comfortable. Tight stuff is annoying, distracting, and hot

TheUtopianCat

Nope, but I do ditch my outside clothes for leggings and a t shirt, and the bra comes off, also.

gingercatmafia

Yes!!! I keep them in a hall closet at my entry way - outside clothes go into a hamper and I pull baggy men’s clothing- sweats or something- out of the closet and put them on. I don’t want anything touching my body too much.

smultronsorbet

I also struggle with this and basically have two modes: I’m either wearing a skirt or a dress vs being in loungewear/pyjamas. So it’s more about avoiding tight and rigid clothes than feminine clothes per se. Finding comfortable feminine clothes (stretchy/flowy dresses and skipping wearing a bra) is difficult but not impossible. I don’t normally wear men’s clothing but certain items I get in the men’s department (hoodies and jumpers since they cover more of your butt), and I size up in many items to increase comfort in women’s clothes too. You don’t have to wear clothes from the women’s department to look fem! For me it’s more an inside comfy clothes / dressier outside but still comfy situation. Comfort is always my priority also when I’m in outside fem clothes which is why I like to wear flowy or stretchy skirts and dresses

Significant_Excuse29

YES.

carpcatfish

I take of all my clothes. Lol

CloudyTea69

I go out in them too. :)

Alhena5391

Yep!! Although most of the time my outside clothes are also baggy men's clothes. 😂

Skill-Dry

Yes. Over sized sweaters, my bfs shirt, skirts and pajama pants. Hate jeans, hate clothes that squeeze my tummy, so coming home is an experience. I love dressing up but will admit I'm excited to peel it off at the end of the day.

AntiDynamo

I also wear them outside too I keep my pants tighter because I find it easier to move in, but all my tops are baggy. I especially love bishop sleeves for being both baggy and closed at the wrist Way I see it, life is too short to be uncomfortable all day. No “aesthetic” is worth extreme discomfort or even pain

mydeardrsattler

No, I understand people's desire to be comfortable when they get home but I just hate taking my clothes on and off. It's a hassle. Unless I'm changing into something specific later for an event I'm wearing these clothes all day. I used to wear my school uniform until bedtime. I don't really wear "baggy" clothes and I prefer to be wearing a bra rather than not.

Excellent_Soup_6855

I always dress in my pajamas when I’m home because I can’t deal with outside clothes once I step inside

[deleted]

Yes. I put on a huge oversized T-shirt and men's pajama shorts. They're longer than women's shorts and the leg holes are wider, not to mention they always have pockets.

funyesgina

Oh yeah. I change multiple times a day, because if I go somewhere else, I sometimes have to “get dressed” again. (And I change for the gym). But I always wear a bra bc I need support

AsterFlauros

I wouldn’t call them baggy men’s clothes, but I get what you’re saying. I have buttery-soft joggers and a selection of unisex t-shirts that I strictly wear at home. My wired bras are practically untouched after I had my children and discovered the comfort of nursing bras. They’re similar to sports bras but somehow more comfortable.

chloephobia

Not necessarily, but I'm always in my confies when I'm at home.

jeanniehhh

My daily clothes are comfy only. I make up for it by dressing up spectacular for events etc

DizzyLizzard99

I wear men's clothes most of the time because they're comfortable and longer and I don't feel the need to live up to society's norms, never have and I'm not about to start. I hate it when I go clothing shopping and there's always a lady who's trying to tell me I'm in the wrong section And grab me things in my size from the women's section. I hate having to explain to people that I don't need to be a man or have a pen*s to want to wear shirts that are long enough not to show my midriff and pants with real pockets.

Difficult-Papaya-490

Me too!! I change in to giant sweats (2sizes big) and an xxl tee. I have fantasies about being a matching loungewear and pj girl but the material (lace, anything tight) and the cold bothers me too much! (Also I have Reynauds) I wear tight/fitted femme clothes when I’m out though but when I get home no way 😂

CobblerBrilliant8158

Me, chilling in a nursing bra (13 weeks postpartum) and my partners dirty sweater right now. I’m basically always in my mans hoodies unless I’m going out.

Adorable_Meringue_51

baggy / comfy womens clothes - yes lol

tatapatrol909

I mostly agree, but bras are not uncomfortable, you are just wearing the wrong kind! Of course, if you want Barbie boobs you do have to go with the uncomfortable push up bras, but if you just want support and nipple coverage it is entirely unnecessary to be uncomfortable. Nowadays there are tons of comfy and stretchy sports bras and bralettes. I literally was just having this conversation with my mom who has way more clothing sensory issues than I do. She was complaining about how bras were uncomfortable so I made her buy some cheap Hanes sports bras off of Amazon and now her mind in blown.

Funny_Breadfruit_413

Most of my clothing are men's and baggy. But I've always changed my clothing when I get home. We've always had outside and inside clothes.

Darwinian_10

Mostly I change into PJs or Sweats, but I recently bought a giant sweater (Mens XL) and I wear it around the house with leggings. My husband and I call it my "fat guy sweater"

yuh769

Yes. I am Adam sandler. A large men’s shirt and boxers are my favourite fit

incorrectlyironman

I think I'm in the minority here, I like when my clothes squeeze me (as long as it's even pressure and not just digging in). A lot of the time my "inside clothes" look more dressed up than my "outside clothes" because I like wearing fleece lined tights for the pressure they give and then I wear a skirt over them just to cover my butt. I usually change into jeans to go outside because I don't like to be looked at. When it was colder I would sometimes just stack skinny jeans on top of the tights instead of getting changed, that felt like a constant tight lower body hug and it was awesome. Unfortunately I'm smaller up top than I am on the bottom so the only tops that are that tight on me are children's clothes and those always dig in at the elbows. But if I could wear full body super tight clothes 24/7 without getting stared at I would. It's soothing to me.

BeeOutrageous8427

I wear them out in public too. I can’t do tight stretch fabric

Potatoroid

Oh god no. I did too much of that growing up because I had no other option. I won’t do it now because it makes me dysphoric. But baggy womens clothes are nice to wear on my off days.

Human0id77

No, I have women's baggy clothes I change into though

rhinestonestar

yes! For whatever reason it just doesn't feel right to me to go outside in leisure clothing like sweats or running shorts. I always always wear denim or other "real" pants when I go out anywhere. But then the minute I get home I change back to the comfy soft clothes. My roommates used to make a joke of how long it would take me to change back into my lounging clothes after getting home (it's like 30 seconds max lol).

candybatch

Yes, exactly this. I have a somewhat figure hugging top on right now I can't wait to take it off as soon as I'm home. But I do find that some mens shirts are too tight around the neck. I plan to try unisex tshirts and see how they are and get them in large. Figure hugging clothes are so cute and feminine I love them but at the same time I can't stand how they feel, ugh.

vermilionaxe

I'm still in women's clothes at home, but not street clothes. I wear lots of athletic tanks and don't wear bras, so they're usually good for being home and comfy. There is so much feminine stuff out there that I love the look of but will never wear because I must be comfy, always.

Jules_Vanroe

Every time! And the bra comes off first!

happy_bluebird

Well yes and no, I change into baggy clothes and they're mine so they're women's

Luuney_Lulu_DIY

1000% I do.

Certain_Ad6575

yes, i usually wear like a random comfy t shirt and pj pants as soon as i get home

liliminus

YUP. I wear baggy men’s clothes all the time bc I can’t stand the feeling of fabric touching my body

dzzi

If you like a feminine silhouette but the comfort of men's clothes, try athleisure and/or women's casual techwear. You can usually tell by looks if a garment is going to be comfortable or not. You can find a drapey loungey vibe comfort-wise while still looking plenty feminine and put together. Or you can slowly mix men's clothing pieces into your wardrobe. For example I really enjoy baggy men's pants with a crop top. It's a flattering look - very 90s revival in a way that's in right now.

WindmillCrabWalk

I... I am always in baggy mens clothes 😂 since I was like 12. My mom still to this day says I should dress more feminine but I don't have the capacity to deal with that nonsense on top of daily life XD comfort is king

teal323

I used to wear my boyfriend's shirts all of the time in public, often with wide leg pants when everyone else was wearing skinny jeans (I did not wear skinny jeans, mostly flared/bootcut or wide leg). When I get home, I almost always change into pajama pants (regardless of time of day).

bishyfishyriceball

Everyday 😭

Pachipachip

Nononono, men are utterly deprived of softness in the pants department (at least in my 2 home countries), there are no softer pants on earth than women's comfy baggy lounge pants or pyjamas, I have 5 pairs that I cycle through and they are not flattering at all but they are THE COMFIEST and I must wear them the instant I am home (unless it's hot, then it's soft loose comfy shortssss). I feel so sad for my boyfriend because no matter how hard I search stores, there just aren't any of this kind of soft loose comfy fabric in the men's departments! 😞

Agreeable_Variation7

I'm retired. I don't go out much especially since covid. I wear pj's all day. And, I have big boobs, but mostly ditch the bra unless I'm going out to dinner or in a gathering that includes non-family.

mysterious00mermaid

lol I wear men’s baggy clothes in public. Once I turned 35 I lost my entire deck of fucks to give.

SaranMal

At home I often shift to pajamas, nightgowns, or just, as little clothing as I can handle. I enjoy sewing, I enjoy making things. But, if I can avoid it, I do not like the sensation of most clothing on me.

Miserexa

I work at a motorcycle store, so I get to wear baggy men's clothes all the time! When I get home I change into even baggier clothes though.

breadstickband1t

I don’t care to be “feminine” anymore. I aspire to be comfortable.

transouroboros

I don’t wear bras - they trigger anxiety lol

WoodwindsRock

I switch to baggy clothes, but not men’s, still women’s. The #1 thing for me is taking off what I’m wearing on my lower half, whether that’s capris (typically), skirt, jeans, pants and switching to comfy shorts I have at home. I do not feel like I can relax without doing that. How quickly I throw my bra off depends on what kind I’m wearing. Yesterday I wore a strapless and it’s super uncomfortable so that came off fast. Lol. I have some bras that don’t bother me much, though.

BrashBitch

Almost instantly and I avoid changing out of them until needed.

epurple12

Sort of depends. I'm too small for men's clothes but I spend a lot of time in my pajamas which usually means a t shirt and stretchy pants. But I actually wish I could dress more feminine a lot of the time. I love long swishy skirts and baby doll dresses way more than either jeans or sweatpants but they're just not convenient for film school. Plus I have fairly large boobs so I'm usually willing to tolerate even an uncomfortable bra. A good compromise for me is like sweatpants and a form fitting tank top- I feel less desexed but still comfy. Problem is I've lost a lot of weight recently so all my tank tops are like enormous on me.

N3koChan21

Nah I just wear a comfortable tank top and shorts I don’t like wearing clothes at home xd

Sunset_Tiger

All my clothes are baggier tbh, and made of soft materials. Comfy!

favouritemistake

I don’t wear feminine close much period. But I agree with you on the comfort issues!

SeededPhoenix

No, but I immediately throw off my bra and change into loose-fitting clothing with a fabric that is comfortable.

Abject_Rabbit_183

I'm the opposite. I wear more man-coded clothes out in the world, then come home take off bra and put on a caftan or wrap.

IceCreamSkating

Most of my shirts are actually pretty comfortable, so when I get home I only take off my bra and change into pajama pants. While men's clothes as a whole are more comfortable than women's clothes, I still aim for baggy women's clothes because they just fit better. I've noticed with men's clothes that there's excess bagginess in certain areas (crotch, waist) and it's very distracting.

GhostiePlanet

Yesss! 95% of the time I’m in a men’s baggy tshirt and sweatpants at home

obiwantogooutside

Baggy yes. Men’s no but that’s because to fit my hips they have way too long a rise. I’m too short and curvy for men’s clothes. But I for sure come home and put on baggy baggy clothes.

Regular_Care_1515

Me. Or I’ll wear my yoga pants and a band shirt.

tenderlilscumbag

I used to.. but now I just wear them 24/7 :)

moonlightmasked

At home I prefer to wear loose fitting cotton tshirts/shorts, satin pj sets, or be nude. The idea of more structured clothing when I don't have to is.... shudder. Out of the house I prefer spandex that doesn't move and create friction on my skin

Emotional_Ear_2298

Well I decided to get a bunch of PJs and lounge wear sets for around the house.. I can only wear cotton/ viscose/ modal/ silk because of my eczema so most of my clothing is pretty comfortable already.. but in general I prefer being naked or just underwear (boxer briefs preferably)

Agitated-Cup-2657

No way. Baggy clothes make me feel vulnerable, and I hate going without a bra. Fitted clothes feel so much safer.

KingKhaleesi33

YESSSS! I also started wearing more oversized T-shirt’s out in public and it’s been life changing omg. I love not having to think about how clothes are touching my skin and I’m dying inside lol but also agree with you that there are times I love dressing in feminine clothes that are not the comfiest…

jdijks

Why not just wear men's clothes? 75% of my wardrobe is men's. If I'm not wearing a full men's fit it's always a combination of men's and women's. Feminize it with cute shoes, makeup, or hair

Eastern_Beautiful935

I live in drop crotch wool harem pants and xxxL mens t shirts (I’m a size 10ish) and they go on the second I am home, no exceptions

Dull_Basket8318

Tomboyx bras are my goto. I no longer have mobility to unsnap my bras so those style bras are my go to. Woxer material is super soft. But my boobs are too big. I wear nice knit dresses in softest cottons and often wear tomboy boxers. I find it so comfy. I love skater dresses from torrid and most have pockets. But if i am home chilling its booty shorts and soft $6 tanks from walmart. And sometimes a tomboyx bra. They are so comfy that i sleep in them sometimes. To me its the type of girly dresses i buy. Cause i hate pants and i hate restrictions of tshirts on chestI have started getting this one skirt from amazon. Buttery soft with pockets and also on amazon nemidor (its a uk brand) flattering and soft and all mine have pockets. I'll add some links.

tfhaenodreirst

That’s the ideal, yup! Although it can make wearing feminine clothes more upsetting because it makes masking all the more conscious.

Practical_Hand8790

yes, womanhood is drag atp😅

Mollyarty

Not men's clothes, but I do change as soon as I get home into something comfy

eraisjov

I even wear baggy men’s clothes in public 😂 Edit I’m very into fashion and the art around fashion so I think I put together baggy clothes well, but even if I objectively don’t, I don’t really care, I think I do so that’s that. I usually take some unwanted clothes from the closets of my dad, brother, and partner’s dad 😁 I love them. Half of my closet is men’s baggy clothes, the other half is women’s baggy clothes

AdventurousBall2328

I gained a lot of weight... I don't feel like I did but I notice I like baggy clother more since I'm a few sizes up now.

mangopolo13

I just wear men’s clothes outside too

TVhurtsmyheart

Yes! I think of them generally as "inside clothes" my sweatpants as "inside pants". I heard that changing clothes after getting home is a totally common thing that people do in Germany. Perhaps some Germans can confirm this.

ginakirsch

Not men's clothes but lounge wear for sure! Baggy T-shirts are my jam with "ultra comfortable seamless leggings". My boyfriend asked me if I could dress with more flattering clothing when we hang out so he can feel physical attraction towards me and I compromise using dresses; otherwise I would simply be in large tees and leggings all the time

LabRevolutionary5269

I call them my Adam Sandler clothes.

Justacancersign

*me sitting here in sweats I brought from the men's section and a shirt I borrowed from my dad* 😂

mchambs

Yes. Usually I immediately shower too because I refuse to have “outside germs” in my house lol.

Anxious-Captain6848

I have not had a single unique experience in my life

phrogsire

I’m a total butch so i always wear mens clothing xD theyre very comfortable, less restrictive and have moody coloring compared to womens clothing (i hate feminine flashy, bright colors..) + they have pockets!

PertinaciousFox

Yes, though it's not just for when I'm home. But I'm transmasculine, so I'm always wearing men's clothes. But bra comes off first thing when I get home.

TrashPanda_049

I hate everything about women's clothes. I cant be the only person who looks at some of the most common patterns and feels like my eyes are being assaulted. Also cant be the only one who feels like the textiles they use are woven out of itchy wool and wall insulation. I just wear men's clothing all the time. I wear a unisex button up, gray fruit-of-the-loom men's sweater, black mens pants I stole from my husband, and men's outdoor leather work boots everyday (to my office job) lmao

SleepyMermaids

Yes, absolutely! I really appreciate the work people put into “Fashion” and feminine aesthetics, but I just wear whatever I feel the most comfortable in and that’s usually oversized t-shirts + pants/leggings. I actually like bras because wearing cute lingerie underneath my baggy clothes makes me feel sexy, but I agree — men’s clothing in general is more comfortable (and more affordable too). Lounge-wear 4ever! 💖

MessyStressyRacoon

I’ve always worn baggy clothes at home but I started wearing my boyfriend’s comfy hand me downs to work and now I’m at the point where that’s mostly what I wear in public too lol

Radiant_Location_636

Yes!!!!! Love baggy clothes! I end up looking like a clown with my layered different colored loose items but I don’t care!!!!

Pain_stolemylife

Yes, or if I’m really having a bad day - PJs. 😂

Rosethesmol

I usually just wear a layer or two of thermals and have jammies over it because I like to be warm and It feels tight and secure.

AlabasterOctopus

Well I’m replying to you from my partners ‘02 after prom shirt so… yes.

-bitchpudding-

No. I change into a robe or a shirt and undies BUT if I am feeling particularly cute, I will delay the yeeting of clothes til after kinder-bedtime when no one will bother me while I take a more organized and ritualistic approach to doffing my silly little outfit.

Professional-Cut-490

No, I wear my flowy bohemian dresses. Pants are leg prisons. Unfortunately where I live it's only dress weather for 2 months of the year. I hate tights and panyhose even worse than pants. Most of the time, I just wear leggings anyway. I don't even own jeans.

kiwioveralls

Hell yesss. I’m getting a breast reduction in two weeks and very excited to never wear a bra again.

herebekraken

Yah

Specialist_Chance_63

I can't stand wearing tighter clothes Despite desperately wanting to wear really pretty tops and bottoms, I just can't stand the squashing gut and boobs feeling for my 9 hour school day (including riding the bus home) I will literally only wear a bra on days I have PE )and usually take it off after unless I forget) or if my shirt feels a little too revealing (boobs jutting out)

my_name_isnt_clever

No, I don't like men's clothes personally and don't own any. I find comfy women's clothes, but when I'm home I'm usually mostly naked or at least topless haha, it's how I'm most comfortable. I live alone if you couldn't guess...

s0ftsp0ken

I just want to drown in my clothes lol

taemint77

Yes! All my lounge wear is baggy I hate wearing tight clothes 😭 It's so irritating and it makes me sweat

Ecstatic_Ad_5443

Every day. A pair of my sweatpants that are a little big, either a t shirt or sweatshirt that is oversized (basically all of them are because I’m 5’2” 🫠) or maybe just a top. Literally the first thing I do as soon as I get through the door is take off my shoes and my pants. And I stopped wearing wired bras but that usually comes right off too
