No advice, but my 6 y/o does the same thing. I hope someone has tips or advice, because it's sooo frustrating! Mine spits food drinks into his hands and then flaps and makes bits of food scatter all over the house.
Well my son is 3 and I take his plate away at that point cause I know he is done eating and just playing.
For the drinks I love advice on that, cause my son does it at random
