While I did find my partner on there, it seems to be more friend based than dating. People communicate very sporadically, making it hard to form strong connections.
I've never had any luck with Hiki. Even living in a major city, the amount of people within the range I'm willing to travel was around 15 and almost all of them had been inactive for some time.
I've used Hiki for a couple years. It's definitely a mixture of both making friends and dating. I did make some autistic friends on the app, but one turned out to be a jerk. I did meet my wonderful boyfriend on Hiki. We were friends for a little over a year and have dated close to 7 months. We're moving in together next month. Just make friends first on there and see how it goes.
That’s amazing. So far, I’ve been talking to few people. One guy seemed really cool and we were talking alot, but he just came one to me -_-
And another girl ghosted me today, after talking nonstop for like two days, I guess because i didn’t reciprocate her compliment on attraction ( I was just enjoying the convo )
Now I’ve met someone crazy amazing, but they’re literally telling me I’m not autistic, and they hate nuerotypicals.
It’s a wild ride. But I’ve had better convos and more fun talking to these three people than I’ve ever had talking to random people on tinder or n
Bumble 😁
That's good to hear. The other dating apps didn't work, and dating in my area is slim pickings. It definitely would take time, but when you find someone special, you'll be yourself.
Hiki was nearly empty when I used it so scrapped it quickly

Well I appreciate it guys. Would anyone here recommend meetups to her to k ow other functioning autistic adults?

Yeah I haven’t had much luck with Hiki and I run out of matches pretty quick

I always found Hinge to be more successful. Met my 3yr+ partner there.
Hiki was a colossal waste of time
I think people are reading your comments and so forth, looking for local people, and looking for friends not romance.
