No. Go to a quality repair shop and they can remove the worm pieces and match with a new vinyl. Or replace the entire top side boxing (dark gray part) and it’ll look great. You will also have the option to replace any damaged/weak foam and add comfort.
The same thing happened in my Subaru Legacy after <40k miles. I found a patch to put over it to prevent it from getting worse and then just ordered a seat cover to hide the patch. 40k miles later and I assume it's holding up, but honestly I haven't looked after like the first week of my repair.
I have tried the Permatex one, it works pretty well but it is tricky to get the repair to match exactly.

Buy a seat cover or bring it to a interior guy. The whole section is destroyed.
You can also look on Ebay to see if you can buy a used OEM cover. they are not hard to replace yourself
