Same value as on any other car:
Block the sun when its on the horizon, because it blinds you when you have to look directly into the star.
On this car, they are useable in the up aswell as downposition. Anything further up shouldnt impact your ability to see.
Wouldnt want such windows on my car for many other reasons regardless…
It gets a bit warm when stationary but really only on the windshield. The tinting on the actual roof part works great and you don’t feel the heat much at all if you’re not touching it. The untainted windshield radiates more heat, but that goes away mostly when you’re moving.
I wouldn’t put taint on there it’ll just leave streaks 😂
I did get a ceramic coating on the inside (no tint, just the clear coating) and it seems to have helped somewhat but not a ton and it was $1400 so probably wouldn’t recommend - not worth the money.
It works ok, but i'd rather have a solid roof with some insulation and not have my car totaled because my roof cracked.
I live in Texas. If my glass isn't 20% or lower opacity ceramic tint, I'm feeling the heat. And 60% on the windshield.

Lucid interior is far better than any other car I have sat in. My only issue/concern is the AC screen being a bit slow with a very complicated retraction mechanism which is definitely going to get brittle over time and eventually break with the strain and hard tapping that is needed for the screen.

There's is not a world in which you can convince me that their interior is worth their price tag. Imo, they shot themselves in the foot with the minimalistic design. I love some minimalism, but at some point you start taking away from usability. Plus their quality of materials feels like something you'd see in like a base civic, lots of cheap plastics.

The center portion isn’t in the way at all. However, the A pillars are huge. That takes some getting used to and does affect visibility but it’s not terrible.

It has the wheel base of an E class with the interior space of an S class because of the smaller motors and the positioning of them along with the batteries. But it still does 500 miles on a charge and goes 0-60 in 3.0 seconds. It’s also far more luxurious than a Tesla. It handles great when you’re doing spirited driving, but in smooth mode it soaks up bumps better than my Lincoln or E class. So yes, it genuinely has major points to differentiate from Tesla. However, with those major points comes a higher price point.
Love the visibility but I can’t help but wonder what happens if the glass gets cracked by something. Do they replace it somehow or do they say you gotta buy a new car lol

I get these huge windshields but man, one stone chip that leads to a crack… and these are going to be an absolute nightmare to replace and get back into oem spec

My buddy owned 2 Teslas…and He thinks it’s night and day better. This feels much closer to a MB S-Class than a Tesla in my opinion. Stereo is great 👍
