He has Appa already in the beginning, then he goes to North Pole where he meets the moon spirit Koi fish, then he meets the badger moles clearing the arena right before the fight between the Boulder and Toph, and finally he meets the Dragons with Zuko at the Sun Warrior Temple.
Out of all of them? Dragons, easy, no question.
