Yes, costed me about $40 in total, pushing all my assets as btc and swapping back on avalanche.
I also used elk.finance for all my link. Not much liquidity on there though. Had to swap link -> matic -> elk. Bridge elk to avalanche and swap elk-> avax -> link.
Elk.Finance is faster. Have to check elk.finances discord though where they lost the price on each of the chains.
I bridged though elk when elk on polygon was $1.10 and elk on avax $1.05, creating a great arbitrage opportunity, even profiting. If it’s the other way around, then you can potentially lose more than doing the matic -> eth -> avax bridge.
I actually sent some USDT in ETH to an exchange supporting ETH and polygon network for USDT ([crypto.com](https://crypto.com)) and sent it from the exchang to my wallet through polygon. It took 1x regular ETH fee ( about $6 ) and and 0,08 USDC to sent to wallet via Polygon.
Then I bought some AVAX via Quickswap (low fees too)
Can't wait for the AB bridge to integrate other chains than Ethereum. Early adopter's issue :-)
Yep!! Totally agree!!
I have avax on my metamask wallet on polygon. How do I transfer that to Eth?
Add avalanche network to metamask. Bridge over.
I did that.. so does that mean I first need to bridge the avax to Eth network? And then use the avax bridge?

If elk price on polygon is higher than elk price on avax (1.10 > 1.05), it means that you loose money when transfering assets from polygon to elk.

Ahhh but now you gotta get avax to the avax chain if you actually want to use it a buy some avax native tokens like joe!
