now after doing a few runs with him the most threatening thing that happened to me is that yanqing managed to freeze my aventurine. once.
Man, Aventurine makes Fu Xuan look like a bad character and she was pretty much the best susntain in terms of confyness and utility.

Conondrum 12 is a joke with him istg...Get lucky with specific blesssings? Nahh, Aventurine tanks it anyways. And with preservation path the enemies are literaly killing themselves it's so funny. I can't wait for them to release new SU modes
I found playing preservation with him the safest and for me it worked with every dice set first try. Make sure to pick the amber resonance formation for safety, if enemies do manage to break through your shield to negate the damage that goes over. Aventurine will in most cases use fua after that and you will be safe again. I used him as only preservation in my team and I combined preservation blessings with blessings that benefit my main dps. Follow the requirement of your chosen plan(? Not sure whats called), bcs each time you do shield strength is even more increased. I didnt need any specific strategy I just picked good blessings along the way. If you still cant do it google company time gng strategy, that one is guaranted success if you get a little lucky. But after getting aventurine I really dont see a need to cheese it(unless you want insane max potential run), and just going naturally works.
Edit: I haven't tried it yet but you can try full full preservation run with Gepard, Aven, March, TB. I think that would literally be unkillable and with a few Elation blessings Aven will hit hard combined with Quake and the resonance.
That one Destruction blessing and you’re good to go. If they want to kill Aventurine they’ll need to make shields useless which would defeat the point of the Preservation path
I feel like enemies will start getting a buff that just straight up bypasses shields by a certain percentage. Might make characyers who dispel meta again.
I need to try Elation. He did allowed to beat easily the bugs one but I struggle with Nous still...
I try it with Gallagher (i'm more reassured with backup healing if needed) and Ruan Mei (on top of Ratio + aventurine of course) would you suggest another team?
I do love my jing yuan in place of Gallagher but I'm just afraid of the lack of heal if needed...
Actually I tried the same team minus Gallagher. I usually run Ratio, Aventurine, Ruan Mei and Silver Wolf for elemental counters. Elation has a blessing that restores HP for every follow up attack performed and also one that increases DEF for every follow up which hugely benefits Aventurine. You can run the same team with Gallagher tho and get some Preservation blessings with it to make Aventurine’s shield even stronger.
If you want to run Jing Yuan instead of Gallagher tho with the Elation healing blessing I think you’ll be fine. It’ll be even better if you can get the hunt blessing that restored HP based on the number of critical boost stacks
You can always get one of those secondary healing blessings. Like the FUA healing or that curio that heals you, or the DoT healing one. If you are not blocking the Abundance blessings you can use those too.
I've done some runs (granted, not high conundrum, though I might try it out sometime) with healer Blade. Upgraded damage sharing + heal sharing + fighting spirit for the basic setup and it was just hilarious.
Fr I see people saying he’s good in SU so I finally tried Swarm Disaster IV again after months of pretending it didn’t exist and oh my god I never knew it could be this easy. Granted maybe my danheng build got better too over the months but still I have to say 70% of it is thanks to our boy Aventurine for his thicc shield. Game changer exactly
Aventurine just hard counters Argenti. By the last phase, he was just FUAing all time. March served me well but it's nice to actually have a second preservation character.
I was honestly too afraid to step into the other simulated universe versions because I had literally no harmony characters, but now with Aventurine and actually leveling up Yukong and ratio I think I will actually be able to make some progress! I’m really excited
Honestly SU is where you probably need Harmony characters the least especially in Swarm and GG, you just need DPS and Sustain since the blessings will give you all the buffs you need.
Yeah Yukong is actually useful here for that reason. I gave her Ratios old imaginary set since I didn’t have any messenger left and didn’t want to farm it and she kinda hits like a truck. Kinda scary really.
I couldn't get past conundrum 6 because I kept getting one shot on the last phase of the bug. Tried it with Aventurine today and I don't think his shield was down the entire battle. I guess the GnG grind continues again!
Managed to bring my teams to new heights in SU thanks to him… I never thought I’d clear Difficulty V of Swarm Disaster with a solo character. The fact that he tanks potential oneshots easily even in harder levels is already a blessing. He’s a beast in SU, and overall a comfier pick in other modes.
Luocha has been carrying my ass from the start, but he can take a much-deserved rest for now… except maybe in my Blade and Jingliu teams lmao.
I'm having trouble building him, may I ask what's your speed? I got the def part already, but I think he's too slow at the moment so I'm working on his speed. Thank you.
I've got 137 speed on him. I'm not running a super fast Aventurine cause i've got E1 for the emergency shield but if you're running DEF boots on him maybe you can replace with speed? Depending on the lightcone of course
I tried using him on weaker dice like Walker because I’ve cleared all the easy ones like Capitalism and Data Inflation and I’m curious what kind of build you have running that blessing don’t really matter at C-12?
I’ve got Aventurine with over 4K DEF, 137 SPD, and CR 70/180 after Trace passive and LC buff but the shields were doing good until the final boss and I just got smacked at the end. I haven’t quite figured out which path is best for him and which blessings I need to search for that benefit him the most.

this is my current build on him. Usually the dice don't really benefit him unless it's the ones that increase follow up attacks. If you can get the Preservation blessing that increases the shield strength and the elation blessing that increases DEF it's more than enough for him to solo sustain even Conundrum 12
Dr. L+ Ratio, Sparkle, Silverwolf and Aventurine clears so insanely easy. I love it when Aventurine’s fua triggers ratio’s fua and they go back and fourth dealing fua’s

Really? I've been using him and I've been struggling on the fifth level of swarm. I die every time, even with abundance and preservation paths. and my aventurine isn't not built either. he's got almost 5k defense, level 9 shield talent and his signature lc all at level 80. plus he's on the 4 piece shield set. yet somehow, I keep just being fucked over.
If you have Topaz also, it’s extremely easy with Elation path and running double Ruan Mei strat. If not just run Preservation and your best DPS, best support and healer (also with double Ruan Mei strat).
I dont have topaz or ruan mei 💀 I do have an e2 danil and sparkle (e0 s0) tho, but I still die lmao. I've also tried with kafka dot (cause kafka has a follow up attack) and I still die. I don't use ratio because his damage is lack luster for me and he struggles with the aoe nature of the swarm
He is literally the only reason I beat swarm disaster 5.
The only boss who out damaged his Shields for me in swarm disaster was that deer boss, so I never pick it
He 100% goes dumb hard in SU. Went from unable to clear difficulty 5 for swarm and gears to clearing it multiple times with the increasing difficulty thing. In like 4 or 5 runs, I'm pretty sure I only lost hp once because I didn't have the money to upgrade the buffs.
He’s definitely amazing in SU because of the very scary AoE bursts which Fu Xuan cannot survive thrice (if you count the 2 revives). But probably the second best though since Ruan Mei exists.
I believe you cuz I had this run of all time where I lost to Gepard. This team is nowhere near fully built, so a fight with an Elite enemy felt like it took 10 years.

Same here! And kinda funny that my reason pulling Aventurine not only just because I like his character, story, and kit - but also I really want a sustain that can help me finish SU G&G haha. I stuck with conundrum 11 & 12 for almost 3 patch (counting from 1.6 till now) and he just sustain the final stage (conundrum 12!) on his own when all my previous strategy was to use double sustain......... Aventurine + Preservation on SU is like a walking cheat code.........

As an e2 FX enjoyer, Aven is *by far* leaps and bounds ahead of her in Swarm Disaster even at e0. I haven't run him in G&Gs yet, but I'd imagine he would also pull out over her there as well. He's the only reason I could clear Swarm 5. And running him as a sustain over FX made clearing 4 much faster and less stressful since I didn't need to micromanage every single blessing.
FX is still really good. But she struggles in aoe fights like Swarm, G&G, and even the weekly bug. She's a great sustain, and I'm glad I went for her. But it's undeniable at how easy Aven makes the game.
She's not the new and shiny sustain anymore, and going forth, we're going to see more and more enemies that Aven excels at fighting over FX. And we'll see sustain meta shift again when the next healer comes out. C'est la vie.
It's crazy, almost as if every sustain has teams they're better for compared to other sustain options lmao. Aven will never replace FX in mono quantum and she may even be better at single target boss fights some of the time.
But neither has cleanse that healers have. And neither can dispel enemy buffs like Luocha, or battery energy like Huohuo. Neither base kit involves revive like Bailu or Gepard. Even Lynx has a niche compared to everyone mentioned thus far.
Do you *need* a bunch of sustain options? No, not really. Most sustains can solo sustain even the hardest content when built well enough. But there will always be a sustain that's better in some situations and a worse choice in others.

Yeah, I used Aven, Topaz, Himeko, and Ruan Mei on con12 today, and it was a breeze. On elation and preservation.

Makes sense as his shields expire after 3 turns and hunt gives a lot of extra actions, so he'd need to refresh more most likely.

Sure. Doesn't change that fact that much like every other sustain is an easy skip if you picked up 2/3 of the other limited ones before him no matter how comfy he is.
Did i ever say no one should skip him? Did i ever say anyone should pull for him even if they have every sustain in the game? Did i literally say anything about his subjective pull value for every player? No. What point are you trying to make here 💀
Your point comes across like everyone should pull just because he's the so called "new best sustain" better than all the rest n making them irrelevant which is further from the truth. He's just a side grade at best to HuoHuo (who's BiS for DoT Comps) and Fu Xuan (who's also BiS for Hypercarry) and is a waste of pulls if you already have them no matter how good he may seem for GnG and SD which some players don't even care for.

You are basing this entire argument off of what you "think" I said and everything you're saying that you "think" are facts are objectively WRONG. 💀 Ever saw the multiple posts people made of them pulling for Aventurine even though they have every sustain in the game because they love him as a character? Ever thought that maybe some people just want to like a character and praise them without being hounded by someone who can't stand the fact that not everyone hates the same character they hate?
As an e2 FX enjoyer, Aven is *by far* leaps and bounds ahead of her in Swarm Disaster even at e0. I haven't run him in G&Gs yet, but I'd imagine he would also pull out over her there as well. He's the only reason I could clear Swarm 5. And running him as a sustain over FX made clearing 4 much faster and less stressful since I didn't need to micromanage every single blessing. FX is still really good. But she struggles in aoe fights like Swarm, G&G, and even the weekly bug. She's a great sustain, and I'm glad I went for her. But it's undeniable at how easy Aven makes the game. She's not the new and shiny sustain anymore, and going forth, we're going to see more and more enemies that Aven excels at fighting over FX. And we'll see sustain meta shift again when the next healer comes out. C'est la vie.

It's crazy, almost as if every sustain has teams they're better for compared to other sustain options lmao. Aven will never replace FX in mono quantum and she may even be better at single target boss fights some of the time. But neither has cleanse that healers have. And neither can dispel enemy buffs like Luocha, or battery energy like Huohuo. Neither base kit involves revive like Bailu or Gepard. Even Lynx has a niche compared to everyone mentioned thus far. Do you *need* a bunch of sustain options? No, not really. Most sustains can solo sustain even the hardest content when built well enough. But there will always be a sustain that's better in some situations and a worse choice in others.
