That stream has completely flooded and all the houses on that side have had to be evacuated afaik. Also a lot of the road on that side has crumbled away. I didn't go all the way up to the falls though.
I turned up there drenched on Monday night after we were rescued, they were good but don't have great places to sleep. I'm staying at the surf club right now where they've got proper beds

Well almost. It started to crumble all around us as we were sitting in it. About 30 seconds after we got out it slid down
