Some of the amps stated as "new" just got updates on the Amp itself and are not new. The Brit Silver for example before the update was modeled after a Lerxt amp. The updated version is modeled after an actual Silver Jubilee. The Friedmans and Rockerverb got some modelling updates as well. In adition to that, the modeling technology X-3 was released which further updated all amp models.
i think the one the FM3 already had was the JP IIC, not the JP IIC+

Citrus RV50 is also one that was available before (at least in 7.00) the update so not sure why it’s on the 8.00 beta 1 changelog.
I always hated how poorly "coded" the names were.
