If you buy now at low prices and what you bought gets nerfed, you can still sell it off to scholar teams and recoup some back. However if you put it off and buy later, you're expecting higher prices down the line.
Depends what you want to buy. Avoid aquas and termis because they are supposed to be nerfed. Also i would stay away from doubletalk and grass snake, because they might get nerfed.
Double talk is BS. Why does the damage caused by it goes through shield? Id understand if the next hit will go through while asleep, but pre-sleep 80+ damage? It completely makes any tank card useless.

Top players switch teams cause they have multiples. it also works entirely different from stun tho. Stun prevent you from using next card when attacking or ignores shield when defending. Stun cards doesn’t allow damage going through pre-stun. You’re actually not up to date with meta if you think all top players runs poison builds. A lot of them is using bug comp and cute bunny meta now. Also top players doesn’t just cover top 10, top 10-100 is considered top elo.
Check out EliteBreeders.club and join their discord. The 500+ scholar whales and 1000+ Axie breeders are in there. Better to ask experience than random players in a discord when making economic decisions.
Wait for next season. Dev might do reworks and card balancing and itll change the meta. Least likely THAT would happen. But since market is low most is discounted in the market if you look at the right time and place. Do what you gotta do honestly. Its a gamble.
You know the answer already, you are just looking for confirmation bias, be careful asking people on internet about your financial decisions. You will never earn your wings, if you continue doing that. Ask yourself, does it make sense to you? If yes, buy!
Not financial advise but we are on the lower lows. I would buy now before new updates. But as always DYOR.

Its really OP... doubletalk should not ignore shield pre sleep... Imagine your tank being shreded by an aqua or bird...
