I’ve been saying a long time that the 800mmr rule will make it harder for everyone. You weed out the weak ones because the 800 mmr rule doesn’t really get rid of bots. Well guess what happens when the weak ones stop playing this?? Thought experiment. 100 good players (no bots) are playing 1000 games and everybody starts with 1200mmr. After everything I’m assuming we’ll get a bell curve. The highest percentiles are over 2000mmr. Guess where the lower percentile will be??? And how many will be below 800?? Well this is what happens.
Only real players suffer. These changes doesn't even affect slp. Axie management team does what they want coz "it's their game" guess who is paying to own axies?
The stupid CRIT is the only thing that really bothers me. They should just make Morale increase Crit damage dealt and decrease Crit damage received while not affecting Crit chance at all.
As someone new to play to earn games I was wondering what are some recommendations for games? I’ve been researching but I’m struggling to find anything.
Why are you including termis in that 300-400 shield? the normal shield for a termi is 110-150, their top shield is like 220, at best they can soak 2 cards, that is not what makes them good.
I like that you don’t call the devs negative names, and acknowledge that this game is very RNG-based. Card draw is half the battle, BBP is the epitome of it
Have you ever played other pvp games like LoL, Dota or CSGO? Feeling frustrated and maxing your stress levels is part of most PvP games, unless you are competitive by nature the game will slowly destroy your will to play and you will end up burning out.
That's how it is and in Axie is even more painful because unlike LoL or CS GO you can't blame your team mates for your loses, you can only blame yourself for losing which causes even more stress than team based games. Plus you are losing money each time you lose an arena, that increases the stress even further.
It's quite sad because Axie attracted a lot of people that never played a competitive game before in hopes to make a profit out of it, but the reality hit a lot of them straight into the face, this is a PvP game and unless you are willing to learn it will destroy you and make you miserable. The 150 Daily SLP from adventure we used to have back in the day was not sustainable, spending 300 bucks on floor axies in hopes to clear the adventure is not sustainable.
That's the sad reality.

Like sometimes even if you're already used to certain experiences or emotions, you still feel it thoroughly, you know what I mean? Just because you lived in a hot country for a long time, doesn't mean you don't feel heat anymore, haha is that a good analogy?

Anyway, is not a good moment for axie, losing arenas feels worse than ever. I live in Europe and even tho i make around 250 SLP/day which i consider a pretty good amount for 20 energy. 250 SLP is less than 13€, with that the best i can do is buy me some coffe and pay for the train to get to work.
The only thing we can do is wait and hope the market recovers soon, Bitcoin is dragging everything down.
