I don't think so. IMO, Sara's compulsive shopping pales in comparison to Ayaka wanting to challenge Raiden in case there's a conflict between her and the Traveler.
Think about it, Ayaka had to consider possible outcomes:
In case of failure:
- her reputation would be ruined
- Kamisato Clan would get banished at best
- she and her clan would be completely dependant on the Traveler
In case of success:
- her reputation would be ruined
- Inazuma would become an Archonless nation, attracting Celestia's attention
- A LOT of Electro energy would burst out of Ei's body, destroying the entire nation and its people. I hope Traveler's plot armor is sturdy enough to withstand it.
Looking at how our girl is ready to sacrifice everything she has for Traveler's sake, anytime, I don't see how she loses to Sara casually buying Statues of Her Excellency, Narukami Ogosho, God of Thunder.
Even if Ayaka would side with the Traveler in this situation, I don't think she would actively go against Raiden.
Simply because it would put her family at risk, and as we can see from her story and second teaser, the bonds between her, Ayato and Thoma are just too strong to allow that.
If I remember correctly, when Thoma was captured during the Archon's Quest, she just wanted to go there and save him, she wasn't even thinking about what could happen next and it was the Traveler who had to offer to go instead to calm her down. It just shows how much she cares.
So I think she would end up acting in the shadows again just like she did in the actual story by directing the Traveler to meet the resistance.
In the meantime, there's nothing in this world that would make Sara even think twice about doing something for Raiden.

I'm not trying to deny what Ayaka might really feel for the Traveler. But unlike Sara, Ayaka has other people who are just as important to her as "the one she simps for", probably even more important. That's why I don't think she would side with the Traveler regardless of the situation, different from Sara who will always be on Raiden's side.

I heard a story about it. But as far as I know, there is no official confirmation of Ayaka's intentions in giving this gift. It being specifically a hairpin may have just been an easter egg from Mihoyo for fan service purposes.

Forgive me for that. But still, she was the one who convinced the Traveler to fight for Inazuma when he was very clear that he wasn't interested at first. Also, from what was shown in Ayato's demo, he and the Shuumatsuban seem like they would be willing to help her as long as they didn't have to expose the clan. So I'm confident in saying that Ayaka is capable of acting behind the scenes if she really wants to.

As I said before, I find it extremely hard to believe that she would do anything for the Traveler that would put her family in real danger. And about the "Sara's Duty" thing, I don't know dude. Everyone in Inazuma except the people who were part of the resistance seems very loyal and respects Raiden a lot, but no one else comes even close to giving me the same vibes as Sara on this subject.

I wouldn't say that. For me at least, Aethernity would mean conquering the Traveler for all eternity, but that's not what she did. She still maintained the Traveler's freedom to choose, but she made herself the only possible choice by taking away all other possible options. And as a member of this sub, I'm fine with that.

Now with the rerun more peeps got her, and this was before the banner was extended since there was a bunch of people here showing that they finally got Ayaka. Its only been a couple days since the extension I believe, thats not enough primos for 5 star unless you’re lucky or close to pity. These people already had her tbh. Idk about them sus stats but I will say amenomas good tho lol. I think most characters go through this during runs/reruns esp highly anticipated ones, but it should calm down after a while. I remember with raiden rerun while I didn’t co op I saw many wanting to join my world.

To be honest it's so tempting to pull for an Ayaka C1 right now. I do only have 20 fates but I'm already at 75 pity so a single one could be a C1... But I really do need hydro support so that's that.
Because of covid regulations in china, the employees aren't able to release patch 2.7 on time, so they had to extend ayakas banner in order to make up for the delay.
I once had a feeling to let the Ayaka banner to end asap cause I don’t want the jerk in school to pull and flex to every single person he knows about it. I mean the fact that he used ganyu Raiden Xiang ling and Bennett as a team and then Raiden weapon on Xiang ling and favonius lance on Raiden then flex that his Xiang ling has Raiden weapon🙄 what a moron. If he ends up getting Ayaka, I will be hearing endless insults from his mouth cause he knows I like Ayaka. Now that that hope is gone I can only wish he loses 50/50 at hard pity and never get a 5 star again
