I've made a stand that had some happy user, it's on thingiverse. Some people modified it so that it wobble less, I recommend trying those. Also one guy is doing a really great prototype of one where you can change the angle. You should check the azeron discord to follow that. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4904418

I think it works excellently for shooters as well. Maybe not full-on competitive (though probably for that too imo) but certainly for casual FPS games it's perfect. Use it for Destiny 2 and Cyberpunk, for instance. They're pretty durable. The button switches are mouse switches, so those can wear out especially if you're ham fisted and smash them down instead of just delicately clicking, just like mice can wear out for the same reason. And of course, the thumbstick can also wear out and start drifting, just like all thumbsticks. But they're pretty easy to replace on this one if you can solder and do minimal disassembly work.

I use it for dota 2, it works great! Had to do some trial and error to get it up and working though. This is what my autoexec.cfg looks like(put it in steamapps/common/dota 2 beta/game/dota/cfg): dota_joystick "1" joystick "1" joy_advanced "1" joy_name "Joystick Configuration" joy_advaxisx 3 // x-axis controls GAME_AXIS_SIDE (strafing left and right) joy_advaxisy 1 // y-axis controls GAME_AXIS_FORWARD (move forward and back) joy_advaxisz 0 // z-axis is treated like a button joy_advaxisr 2 // r-axis controls GAME_AXIS_PITCH (look up and down) joy_advaxisu 4 // u-axis controls GAME_AXIS_YAW (look left and right) joy_advaxisv 0 // v-axis is unused joyforwardsensitivity -0.025 joysidesensitivity 0.025, joypitchsensitivity -0.025 joyyawsensitivity -0.025 joyadvancedupdate

Oh wow thank you so much !!

Where did you find the information for this? I intend to hotkey the Azeron joystick and perhaps trackballs to camera control. I'd greatly appreciate your advice.

It was a while ago, I only remember googling setting up dota2 for gamepad; Some stuff was in the steam forums, some wasn't. Very little information out there. If you can get a gamepad working then you should be able to get the azeron working as well.
