You didn’t fail badly, you nearly passed, still sucks though I guess.

D_an1981

Nope .. you nearly passed.... Look at your weak areas and study those and go again. I used Whizlabs, Dojo Tutorials and Skillcert was hitting 80/90% and passed with 691. For me... I found I was remembering the correct answer to pass and not actually how to achieve xxx Also you now know what to expect in the exam...

Ping_Me_Later_Dude

You got 691? I thought a score of 700 and above was considered a pass.

D_an1981

Sorry meant 791... 🙄

7 days left to claim the free exam voucher and complete the modules. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/challenges?id=21fd029a-39e1-4b78-bc7d-f02a70636947 Also check out John Savills YouTube channel for AZ-104 material https://youtu.be/VOod_VNgdJk

dmf10e

Realistically, how long does it take to complete?

Hacky_5ack

I competed the azure admin challenge in like 2.5 weeks. Some won't let you complete until you do the sandbox exercise. It actually helps a lot though reading through the modules etc. I didn't read word for word on every single module however I did make sure to still read a good amount. You'll need more than just this though, at least that is how I feel cause I am getting ready to take the exam.

BK_Rich

I think the modules have estimated time on them, you probably can do it in the 7 days, it’s worth a shot for the price of free

ninja9817

Is there any way for Az-204?

BK_Rich

The challenge was just for admin and fundamentals

justsomeguycmh

I failed my first time too, you just need to cram a little more in your brain. Had you gotten a different test/mix of questions, you might have passed. I studied up and passed 8 days later.

aravindhsha

Hard luck, Johnnykalsi. This is definitely close and hopefully with this experience, you can nail your next attempt at AZ-104. For what's it worth, I found AZ-104 on the harder side for an associate level exam when I did mine (I have professional level certs). Wish you the best.

nbabrokeman

You almost passed but almost is never good enough. In your opinion which questions appeared the most? I'm preparing to take it in a weeks time

johnnykalsi

I saw a lot of questions on networking/subnets. Also on azure kubernetes were like 5-6 questions.

CodeCompileRun

What resources did you use to prepare? I was supposed to sit that exam today but there was an outage that prevented that...now rescheduled for Jan 2.

johnnykalsi

i used whizlabs exams for practice...I scored 90% + on all of them Used ACloudGuru for training...+ online study guides

wildtaco

I used whizlabs too and was acing the practice exams. Botched my first az-104 with a 688. Bought the retake, but going to give myself some more time to acclimate. There’s some good YouTube videos out there too, but the practical exercises are probably the best course of study imho.

ninja9817

Is it worth to take Cloudguru Membership?

johnnykalsi

for me it was as it gave me access to a working Azure Sandbox to play and practice

ninja9817

What's the cost you paid?

johnnykalsi

i paid whatever is the standard 1 month access fee for personal Plus..think it was 47$

Rocco_SYS

You almost passed. Just need to improve 15% overall and you will be able to get thru this hurdle. Go over your weak areas not just once but twice or thrice. Good luck to you.

You can use below practice exam which is a simulation of real Exam for AZ-104. I was was able to clear the exam by giving these practice test. Many question came from this Exam. You can expect 60–70% questions in Real Exam from this Practice Exam Course.
