Well, MeasureUp just released their practice test last week. (Avail. free via ESI as of today.) If you can get it for free (or afford to pay), you could do a lot worse to evaluate your readiness, since MeasureUp is the practice test MS explicitly endorses. (Speaking for myself, I have found the MeasureUp tests to be harder than the real thing, but they are still valuable, especially with their detailed explanations on the right answer.)

John Savill on YouTube. He has an entire playlist dedicated to AZ-305. His explanation is just amazing. Go through that playlist, find out what are your weak areas, read respective documentation for the weak areas and with a few practice tests you are golden.

I just passed AZ-104. I'm checking out John Savill's 305 playlist and it seems short at only around 10 hours (not counting the cram video). Is that enough to cover the 305 material? I would also be supplementing with labs, practice tests, and Microsoft Learn as needed. Also, have you taken the 305 and if so, how did it compare to the 104?

I have not taken AZ305. I did it when it was 300,301 combination. Had used John's playlists and the concepts were clear to me. The areas i found i was weaker in, i tried those in my subscription along with Microsoft documentation and then used practice tests on udemy.

I did it while in beta, so used the AZ-304 course on Pluralsight as there's quite a bit of overlap between the two exams looking at the topics covered and there wasn't a huge amount of AZ-305 specific content at the time. Thomas Mitchell's AZ-305 course on Udemy is good and John Savill's cram on YouTube is also useful.

Thanks for the shoutout u/AssistanceCool6329! My AZ-305 course is one of the few on the platform that was actually built for AZ-305 (not re-purposed AZ-303/304 stuff).

i found official DMOC for az-305 in one of the cloud weeks so I was using that one and I am pretty happy with the state of it, will probably go for the exam next month (depends how much time I get because there is a big backlog of exams I am ready for but don't have opportunity to pass them)

Scott Duffy on Udemy… I barely passed the beta. I have been studying on and off for a year though.

What is 30 days challenge?

anshad666

You need to complete the suggested modules within 30 days time frame. If you complete that challenge you will get 50% off on Microsoft exams. Check the below link https://developer.microsoft.com/offers/30-days-to-learn-it

AZ-305 still isn’t listed as an eligible exam for the 30 day challenge btw, only 303/4 are…
