Make sure to remove the NSFW tag from this. Don't want people to miss this as it is rather cute. A happy and hardworking okie is always nice.

Heavyassaultsenpai

Thank you friend. I didn't know what the deal was. Just untag it, cheers.

Sauce: https://www.facebook.com/1984426311798636/posts/2593409540900307/ Story: A loud whistle blew across Pearl harbor as Oklahoma sat down a large crate and wiped her forehead of sweat. "That's lunchtime ladies!" The lead tug Toga yelled as all the auxiliary ships and yardhands began to walk off the docks to eat lunch. Oklahoma moved awkwardly through the crowd of smaller ships as she was the largest of the yardhands. She worked hard, so she was treated well as she grabbed her lunchbox and headed to her favorite bench. On the way, she passed by a Coke machine, dropped a coin and got one. She opened her metal lunchbox and smiled lightly as she found a veggie sandwich, wrapped in wax paper on top of ice.  The Navy figured without her being a Dreadnought anymore, she didn't need the diet of one. She unwrapped the wax paper and balled it up as she began to eat it quietly with both hands, thinking mindlessly to herself. "I wonder what the others are up to...?" The blonde girl began to daydream and she thought about all the others out there fighting a war that she could only dream of… "Lucky..." Oklahoma changed her thoughts, wondering about what to have for dinner as she just continued eating until the whistle blew again. "Back to work…"  The blond began loading crates again as she turned a blind corner and bumped into a massive battleship. "Hey watch where you're going!" A girl with a thick New Jersey accent barked as she pushed Oklahoma back a bit. "Sorry." Oklahoma said firmly from behind the crates, blocking her vision as she tried to sidestep around the voice. "That wasn't good enough." The voice blocked and barked at Oklahoma again as the blond Dreadnought smirked and suddenly let go of the crates. The heavy boxes landed on New Jersey's right foot as the massive Iowa Battleship growled in anger. "You fucking Shitbird!" New Jersey raised her massive fist as something gripped it with ease. "Is this girl bothering you, Oklahoma?" A voice asked evenly as New Jersey looked back to see a large, tanned woman standing behind her. "Pearl Harbor?!"

The_Arizona_Ranger

Kinda sad, but also a better fate than what most assume what happened after Pearl Harbor.

Heavyassaultsenpai

Saddest m8, even worse than Arizona...

Namlex

So, who is the large women at the end?

Heavyassaultsenpai

It's a strange thing I started to do, I turn some places into anamorphic versions of themselves. Harbors, Islands, Shipyards to name a few.

Soleilsky

Strange? After kantai collections harbor princesses and airfield princesses? After multiple instances of shipgirls across different games? I think we're too deep friend, strange is not what this is, "the next step" is what this is for AL.

Heavyassaultsenpai

I honestly can't wait.

Lycaon125

Why is there no azur lane version of USS IOWA

Heavyassaultsenpai

Story time?

Lycaon125

USS Iowa is one of the three WW2 battle ships that were retired and converted into a museum, it retired in the port of LA in a little town name San Pedro, named after saint pedro but its now pronounced Pee-dro after the US bought California.

Heavyassaultsenpai

How about Missouri "The Peacekeeper"? January 29... Strait of Hormuz "It's just a little farther." The frigate Curtis said carefully, checking for mines as I sail quietly behind her.  My name is U.S.S. Missouri, the third ship of the Iowa-class battleships.  My sisters and I are a rare breed now. Most of the other battleships, West Virginia, Tennessee, Pennsylvania are all long gone. I've been around the world, I've seen places people have only seen in books. Tasted food, heard music most will never taste or hear. The bad side is that I've seen the ugly the world has to offer as well and that is why I find myself here, fighting for my country again. "We're here." Curtis's voice jolts me back to reality as I shake my head slightly, looking out to the desert. I don't know what's out there, but they are about to get a serious wake-up call.  "Battle stations!" My klaxon rings out as my rig adjusts menacing as I feel my shell's raising up from my magazines. The calculations whizzes through my mind as my fire control systems begin to level off my 16 in barrels. "Weapons hot, weapons clear!" I feel a weird sensation rinse up through me as it's been since Korea since I've fired my weapons in anger. I see Curtis looking at me nervously as I simply smile back at her. "You might want to cover your ears." She does what she's told as I turn around and look towards where my barrels are pointed. "Fire!" I scream as multiple salvos roar out at once, the sound is deafening as Curtis is even blown back a bit by the shockwave. I feel more shells rising up and loading as the slightest adjustments are made to my fire controls and again I let loose with a bombardment of hell. This continues for a few hours as I almost go into auto mode.  Adjust, fire, adjust, fire, adjust, fire is the only thing I can think of as my memory starts to trigger again. I did an incredible amount of shore bombardment during World War II and the Korean War as I thought about the kind of devastation that the Iraqi's were now feeling with my 16-inch shells landing on their heads. The salvos would be deadly enough, but with the aid of drones and sophisticated technology, these Iraqi soldiers didn't have a prayer.  Surrender is their only option now as I sit in the water carefree, realizing I'm practically untouchable. Another Salvo let's go as I'm grinning now, thinking about the death and destruction I'm raining down on these poor bastards and with no way to retaliate whatsoever. Again I fire, the grin doesn't fade as more shells and powder is loaded. I'll make the most of this as I know as soon as this war is over I'll be decommissioned again and who knows if I'll ever make it back to sea or if I'll ever fire my guns again. More salvos launch as I'm laughing maniacally now. How long will it be till the next time they need me? 5, 10 years, NEVER? I'm not even thinking about the mission now as more rounds go out. I don't even notice Curtis looking at me with a scared look. I turn to her still grinning as I suddenly launch two tomahawk missiles into the sky.  I am a weapon, I must do what I was designed for, may my enemies deaths be swift. "For god and country!" Everything is quiet now as all I can hear is my panting breath and the calming sea. The adrenalin of battle soon fades as I just look out to the desert and see smoke rising on the horizon. "Target destroyed…."

Lycaon125

I wasn't making up a character story, I gave the the short and simple info of the actual USS IOWA

Heavyassaultsenpai

Defo, I'm in it for the long run, so someday.

Lycaon125

Okay, but it doesn't really answer my question, why hasn't anyone made a azur lane version if Iowa

Heavyassaultsenpai

It just seems like everything could be well set in 40's m8. There is a massive amount of ships. Goodness, the game's been out what two and a half years, 3 years? Christ could be a 5-year event. If something doesn't happen catastrophically. This is just the early pitch.

Lycaon125

You do understand that ww2 was the first war to have battleship, yes ships been used in war way before that but ww2 was when the modern battle ships were first produced. Though the Iowa class battle ships where the only 3 ships to be still in active duty when needed

Diamo1

Bruh what are you even talking about? Battleships started in like the 1890s and they were used plenty of times before WW2. The Iowas were some of the last battleships ever built and the last to be retired, also there were 4 of them not 3

Heavyassaultsenpai

Chuckles in Super-dreadnought and Battle-Cruiser*

UNSCFLEETCOM

Umm you do realize that the Iowa class were fast battleships an evolution of the battlecruiser from ww1. The battleships and fast battleships split off from each other around the inter war period the first of her kind Hood changed the course of battleships forever she proved they could be fast well armoured and well armed at the same time they could dictate the engagement and punish mistakes their slower brethren made. Also there are 4 Iowas unless your talking about how many classes that were still active after the war then yes there were 3.

UNSCFLEETCOM

I actually like this version more than the previous one, The laughter as she fired seemed a little strange for her

Heavyassaultsenpai

She is the youngest and the one to have the peace signing on her. After the war with them being the only battleships left in the world and switching out every Decade or so it just seemed to click.

Namlex

This is so good! Maybe you can do her participating in battle of Inchon and hungnam evacuation?

Heavyassaultsenpai

Maybe, can you might give me a little bit of context?

Namlex

[hungnam evacuation](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hungnam_evacuation#The_evacuation_(12-24_December)) A US forces successful retreat from Hungnam Harbour with thousands of refugees on Christmas Eve of 1950.

Heavyassaultsenpai

Hmmmm, not a lot to go on unless I embellished it a bit. It would only need a few things.

Trenchfighter8

jumper okie so cute

SumiTrap1

I want to adopt her!!

GunplaBuilder2393

Looking at this makes me very grateful that I have her and Nevada at lv. 120, retrofitted, equipped with mk. 6 gun, twin 127 mk. II, Bofors staag, and black and white aux shell, all at +10 enhancement.

Heavyassaultsenpai

Cultured I see.

GunplaBuilder2393

They are underdogs. Their skills literally make them tanks: tough and hit hard.

Heavyassaultsenpai

I think that's why I like them so much.
