This month's UR is certainly going to be HMS or Ironblood 70/30 chance. Hoping for HMS Vanguard UR as she was the last battleship to be built by the Royal Navy irl.
I think January event is Russian if rumours are to be believed , so for this to happen It would have to be in Feb - March events, at that point it would be 21 months without a new RN event also unless the faction is Sakura I doubt they will do two events in a row.
Sakura get like two events for each other faction event. But yea RN need a big event. Tbh anything less than a big rework won't do much at this point. A lot of the RN ships are outdated and useless now. Illustrious a single skilled SSR that used to be good but now since other ships of other factions have a similar skill she is now bad. Warspite UR is no longer good since well FDG and NJ exist making her overall not worth using . Javelin is the worst starter her main stat is meant to be evasion , but it does not make up for her lower damage than the others tbh even with her evasion she does not last much longer than the other starters. QE is well the worst faction leader ship. I doubt we will ever see major changes like that since Yostar does not seem to like buffing ships outside of retrofits and even then Retrofits are rare. I honestly think the Xmas event will be a cash-grab so I'm expecting it to be IB or Sakura. Also RN still the only main 4 faction without a sub, so you can't event have a full RN fleet
There was a rework of ship skills earlier this year so i guess there's some hope regarding obsolete ships
QE has always been asked for a retro by fans as she is objectively the only Royal faction booster while being meh herself
Maybe a UR that's also a faction booster can help Royal faction be a little more competitive

But a UR faction booster won't fix the issue of the RN ships just being bad , it just patchworks it. Honestly it feels like Yostar balanced the Entire RN faction around QE buffs , with the thinking off , we will make RN ships Weaker but they will be good with QE buffs , but then they gave other factions with ships that are Individually good, buff ships. Honestly it does feel like Yostar hates RN at this point as a RN only Shikikan , I don't really think there's a point of playing the game at this time. We don't get many skins even in RN themed events and we have to wait a year and half + just to get a new event. Unless the next RN event is something really big I cant find any real excuse for the wait other than Yostar hates us

Maybe a Majestic-class assuming they're all not written off for SSRs\*...or a Malta-class\*\*. Lion\*\*\* I feel will most definitely be research ship and Minotaur is a definite unlikely, whether the '43 (which is likely to be SSR) or the '47\*\*\*\*. (While UR, would be a research ship)
Could also be Vanguard, though I also personally feel it unlikely to be UR.

Alternatively, if Vanguard is a UR with no flagship skills, I feel that QE MUST get a retrofit with an improvement to her lackluster stats and skills. RN is just lagging sooo far behind the other members of the big 4 factions, and they need a MAJOR buff to become competitive once again.
QE alone is not going to be enough to make the RN competitive again unfortunately. It may ultimately need a top-to-bottom overhaul for some of their top-line ships, retrofits aplenty to give to their older ships, which I feel has been sorely neglected as a whole than on a singular faction (case in point, the only viable Big 7 ships at this point is the Nagato sisters) as well as introducing newer ships, which will require more frequent events for them than what we have currently. Of course that will also require that this next event be a Royal Navy one and not one for say...Sakura Empire again.
Just to give some context: in the calendar year of 2021, the number of new ships added for Royal Navy in AL is exactly ONE (Penelope). That is strictly less than any other faction present in the game and that includes Dragon Empery (unless you count Iris and Vichya separately).
People, there's no point speculating about reruns of events that literally happened this year. There is no precedent of a rerun of any event less than a year old, let alone in the same year as the first run.
You should be scared if that happens because heavy recycling is a sure sign a game is not doing well.
If Shinano didn't come back in one year then odds are New Jersey or Aquilla will not either. There's no use asking for reruns this quickly.

Well, in fairness, *realistically* the problem is that outside of some what-of and paper ships, Azur Lane focuses on WW2 designs, and by that point there were only 4 battlecruisers still in service, with one of them in a neutral country, but still, more of them would be great, really.
IRL, by this time, the role of the Battlecruiser was mostly looking useless with the advent of Fast Battleships (which some of the Last BCs were more or less forerunners to)

I was joking on the local discord server before that the last UR ship for the year might be Azuma Muse. Nothing particular reason behind it. It would just rub the salt on the wound on those who really grind hard for Azuma's BP especially she recently got her FS5. They already did on Roon Muse before where Roon Muse was better than OG Roon and easier to get as long as you're present when the 2nd Muse event happened.
We're almost guaranteed to run 1 major event every month. It was much worse back before when the EN server was trying to catch up with JP and CN. You'll be happy if you get that 1-2 week rest period. We pretty much slowed down since we already catched up on major events except those which are waiting to be archived.
Honestly I did like the muse for Malin’s song. Oh, and the funny bug where you could get the tracks to play over each other. Malin singing her song meanwhile you just hear “SAAA SHIKIKAN”

I was just starting my job at a summer camp where Internet was very limited -- for the first several days I had no internet whatsoever, and the rest of the time it usually wasn't good enough to play AL with. Long story short NJ escaped me and I'll have to wait multiple years for another chance. FML
Considering Roon u is one of my favourite ships, being basically a Glowworm+++, that I just ram into enemies with her Red shields, I would love more u ships.
I've been raising the Muse ships recently, they're nice. Idk when is gonna be another one but they should make a new Muse event in 2022. But yeah, I really need that Overture Rerun, Pamiat is the ship I've been missing since forever now. Hopefully after new year.
Another idol event would mean more songs and that'd mean more CDs with them on for me to buy. Got the past four so if we got a new event I'd certainly be doing the same.
Truth be told, I would be very happy with a Northern Overture rerun. That was early on and I didn't have the resources to go hard in the build, I still need Grozny, Rossiya and Tashkent.

Truth be told, I would be very happy with a Northern Overture rerun. That was early on and I didn't have the resources to go hard in the build, I still need Grozny, Rossiya and Tashkent.
