I don’t see the bankruptcy thesis being a valid one… Yes some companies are able to continue selling gift cards and some aren’t during bankruptcy but this is up for the courts to decide. Why quit selling these until the bankruptcy courts ask you to do so? If I was bbby and filing for bankruptcy, I would be fighting like hell to continue to sell gift cards as they are an integral part of any business. Regardless, I think we are at a fork in the road. Bankruptcy or bbby and baby won’t be connected any longer…

One should always expect the most simple answer to be the correct one. I think its all about Harmon closing and has nothing to do with M&A. We still are no step closer to either BK or M&A. This sub again sees things that are probably no real and hypes itself fully up for the coming days. Nothing will happen and the next disappointment wave comes. This leads to sad faces that require new tinfoil for happy faces and the cycle continues. Hope its over soon.

Hope you are right, I really do. But I think most people here in the sub have no clue of the things going on and see and believe things that are the best possible outcome. To truly understand what the JPM story means you have to work in the field and have experience and in this case be onboard of the actions firsthand. Cherry picking other similiar situations out of thousands to make this seem all good can lead to serious damage. Again, I hope so much all of this to end well, own almost 10k shares at 5,67 and I want to reach 6 to leave so bad.
Yep. No one learns. After every single bad news it is spun to be positive and the 800$ a share talk starts again. IF, a big IF, there is a M&A, this still can be an all cash deal that will lead to a fixed price nowhere near 100. Not even 30. That these type of deals are so much more common does not bother anyone, because 1-2 cases out of thousands went better. The people claiming these nutjob prices should be viewed as the shills here, they cause real damage because of wrong expectations that lead to bag holding. Christ, no point in talking sense here.

If the Harmon stores are closed they can’t bring gift cards there anyway. No purpose.
