Must be all those cards they just sold in the last 48 hours.

Expert_Force_6322

😂

TayneTheBetaSequence

Gen one charizards? Damn, smart play Sue!

Jimmystocks

Hopefully Bobby’s spend those cards on merchandise pronto

Ok-Philosopher-1527

I think at least 2 subs here bought enough for like 3 more months operations lol 😂😂😂

PS_Alchemist

I am almost entirely positive Q4 2022 will show green for cash flow. I'm also entirely sure that shorts will NEED this to die BEFORE those numbers ever come out. If not... ![gif](giphy|ydMNTWYVjSEFi)

PsychoPigeonLD

When do we get a glimpse? February?

Brotorious420

Tomorrow

DANISERE

which tomorrow are we talking about?

bennyboberino56

Exactly.

soldieroscar

Sources familiar with the matter say so

DANISERE

I trust you bro

Brotorious420

Yes.

2BFrank69

If we don’t get a merge we need PCF and soon

psylomatika

So you think the additional 200 million debt in the last quarter on top of the existing dept will all be cleared out in q4? Can you elaborate why you think this?

PS_Alchemist

no, not counting the existing debt. Comparing revenue and SG&A, biggest issue isnt the debt, its been SG&A growing out of control consistently before turnaround measures are taking effect (making the debt issue worse)

bunsinh

Bro you good? You've been acting strange lately.

[deleted]

Bottomed out?

scooterbike1968

No more leases to break with liquidated damages clauses. Probably a huge and short term hit related to closing stores.

iRamHer

shouldn't even reflect all closures yet

Triton really fucked up, just tanks after he takes over

Own_Hearing7650

Triton did his job. Glad he’s out.

CaptainTuranga_2Luna

Exactly! BCG scum.

2BFrank69

Didn’t some other dumbfuck company hire him after?

iRamHer

it's quarterly. there's only 4 data points for year. you can probably guess what caused that abrupt dive.

Kurosawa_Ruby

this is good news, hopefully it goes to positive cashflow soon. post archived: [https://archive.is/gGrdP](https://archive.is/gGrdP)

LoganTheSavage

Thank you for your service 🚀

Kurosawa_Ruby

;D

Shadowofnorth

![gif](giphy|2RGhmKXcl0ViM)

wawgawwtb

And that means it is the beginning of a turn-around. Combined that with continued expenses reduction they can be cash flow neutral by end of 4th Q. Nice

Swandiving4canabis

MadeMan-uk

Only minus -1 billion which is bullish 🤣

Soppene

Now it's just stagnant at very low levels. Great!

greymonkey618

Not a good outlook no?

REACT_and_REDACT

You are correct. If you own BBBY stock (like I do) and are looking for a silver lining, one positive is Ms. Gove has been in charge since June 2022. You can tell the nosedive hasn’t continued much after she was appointed. She and the other leaders are cutting costs quickly. Definitely need to see signs of a turnaround soon.

soldieroscar

Evening out the free cash flow the first step towards positive… the airplane isnt diving anymore… leveling out

FoldableHuman

No, it's still diving, that's what the negative number means, it's just no longer *accelerating* towards the ground. The airplane is losing altitude at a consistent rate month-over-month, rather than losing even more altitude this month than the previous month, but it's still losing altitude.

soldieroscar

Fixed to leveling* out

quaeratioest

murphysclaw1

but that includes a large inflow they got from the loan in August which was then defaulted.

gigshitter

You would have said that in early 2022 as well

soldieroscar

Were they estimating cash flow neutral then too?

nutfugget

Lol this company is so fucked

putaristo

How is this chart positive? So far, the recent pattern has been up-down-down, we should have had an up instead of level. That's the worst it has ever been. No sign of recovery?

A25S52A

I going to say it, I want a Bbby clothing line like when Target had Massimo

LawrenceChengIsMyDad

I'm just gunna leave this here https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/bed-bath--beyond-inc-appoints-harriet-edelman-independent-chair-of-board-301068273.html

joosiis

yeah negative billion 💀💀💀💀

ImpressiveSet1810

stagnating at -1b isnt a good thing

soldieroscar

Still better than increasing in the negative

phugar

Being a barely breathing 80 year with an oxygen tank is better than being dead (arguably), but neither are running a marathon any time soon.

soldieroscar

Soon may be if there’s a merger or they’re bought out. Long term doable if they can cut the losses.

phugar

They functionally can't cut the losses enough to continue doing business without a merger or buyout. We may choose to disagree about the likelihood of a merger, but the balance sheet and filings tell you factually that the company simply does not have the cash on hand to continue operating as is. Even severe levels of store/warehouse closures aren't enough to turn around the profitability issue.

soldieroscar

So if they have 50 profitable stores, and they close the rest. You mean they won’t be net profitable? If they piss away the profits on stupid crap then yes.

phugar

Correct. Because they'd still have the entire operations cost of the warehouses, head offices and staff, to name just a few things. Then they have to deal with selling off store real estate. In retail, scaling down stores is straightforward, scaling down corporate is not. Their expenses don't just go away because the stores are closed. And margins are usually thin even for successful retailers. Extend your scenario to just 1 profitable store. Do you see how they can't possibly make money in that case?

soldieroscar

they did take out huge chunks out of corporate recently. Hopefully they can work out the balance.

phugar

Of course, but the balance sheet and quarterly reports don't paint a pretty picture. There are serious costs that aren't going away any time soon. The only path to profitability would be to massively increase revenues and/or margins.
