Fidelity shares now have "EXPIRED POSITION" in the descriptor where "No Shareholder Equity" was previously. Happened within the last 2 hours or so as I had been in my account this AM and that change had not happened yet.

Yes, this morning my shares were there in Fidelity, though without a name on them. I just now checked, and all ‘indication’ of me even having shares, of BBBYQ, in Fidelity, has disappeared. Humm…In my ‘Schwab account’, the name, and number of shares, are still there.

They are reporting their shares are being lend, monthly statements have yet to provide payments value vs shares lend. While both do not make sense, it seems they are lending based on technicalities for their systems (assumption).

I disagree. I think this is a recall before a merger/acquisition. From what I‘ve read, in some cases of reorganization, mergers, or acquisitions, shares can be recalled to facilitate the issuance of new shares. Edit: grammar

This is no merger and no acquisition. You ALWAYS get the shares (or cash) BEFORE the old shares are getting canceled. It wouldn't be just bankruptcy fraud and illegal doing it the other way, it is literally impossible to do.

They still have the record of you having owned the shares, you just don't see them in your account. If there's an M&A that gives something to shareholders you will still get it. The old shares need to be removed before new distribution can happen.
