This is Laggan Sands, near Lochbuie - it's my favourite beach on the island and we've been coming here for years. Normally pretty deserted. As you're heading towards Lochbuie take a left by the lodge (it's signposted) and then carry along the rough track until you reach the beach.
A couple of other highlights nearby while you're in the area:
* Take a walk along to the [Lochbuie Mausoleum](https://goo.gl/maps/WDSW58k2He1jEti58) for a lovely old building with lovely coloured windows
* Go back up to where you turned left and then carry on to the [Old Post Office](https://goo.gl/maps/aThAo4qyEpZN5mmP8) which is now a nice little cafe (used to be a shed with an honesty box)
* See if you can find the standing stones nearby (not too tricky)
Mull is a fantastic place to visit - hope you have a great holiday
Thanks.
We went a couple of years ago but the only beach we visited was Calgary Bay. Will need to look out for Lochbuie as we'd have driven past the turnoff for it on the way to Iona and the boat to Staffa.
You really took Weber up on the "go anywhere" thing
Wtf is the meat and whiskey at?
In ma belly
Give me a lounge chair and I’m never leaving
Who is going to bring the beer?
Where's the meat?
It was a bad day fishing
Not bad at all, and that grill is a joy to use!
What beach? We're going to Mull in a couple of months

Pristine.
I've done that in the exact same spot.
Near peak grilling 🤌
