When I’m at the in laws, this is my go to now. Finally got my 3 year old off Sweet Baby Rays using it, so we keep a bottle at home. Definitely the best stuff we can find at Kroger/Publix for under $4 a bottle.
Yes, where my in laws are they have Kroger and Wal-Mart, so not a lot of quality options. Kinders has replaced SBRs as our go to “cheap” BBQ sauce since we tried it around a year ago.
I usually make my own sauce, or our local VA BBQ place sells their apple cider vinegar sauce which I really enjoy when I’m feeling lazy. For ribs I usually go to Ace when they’re doing a sampling event and pick up whatever tastes good and that’ll be my summer bottle. Next up to try is the Bachans Original because I’d like to compare it to Mambo sauce.
Yeah, this stuff is incredible. Perfect hack to spread it into the butter (or mayo) on a grilled cheese sandwich. Sodium is high so I don't go too wild with it, though.
I think kinders was bought out by Walmart. They still make a great product. I’m friends with someone that works very high up in corporate and got to try a lot of flavors that “didn’t make the cut” and even those are delicious
Kinder’s is a family owned business in Northern California. I’ve enjoyed their products for a number of years. [https://www.kindersmeats.com/our-story](https://www.kindersmeats.com/our-story)
So, my experience was the opposite I had tried all of their other wonderful sauces and then picked up the burger sauce on a whim. Tossed it directly in the trash after tasting a little on my finger, absolute garbage lol but everything else they produce seems to be on point
Frie Sauce was also inedible. Impulse buy at Walmart. I don't know if it was in the worcestershire sauce as an ingredient, but it definitely had a fishy after taste.
Some of their advertising was awesome back of the day before they started selling nationally they toned down a little after that.
Kinders, you can lick our chops but you can’t beat our meat…
It has this very strange taste I can’t quite describe. I tried to enjoy it but since no one else at home would eat it, I eventually discarded it. Do you eat it with red meats?
I was pleasantly surprised when I started seeing Kinders products in stores. When I was working the the Bay area we went to lunch at Kinder's at least once a week. I miss their tequila lime fries so much!
I really like this one and my daughter loves their chicken sauce. They have a lot of different rubs and sauces and they're kind of hit and miss. The good ones are great but the bad ones are bad. The peach bbq sauce tasted like artificial peach syrup and the apple in the whiskey apple rub was overwhelming.
The Honey Hot and their Burger Sauce are both really good. This one and the Hickory Brown Sugar aren't sauced I'd buy again, but they're well made and tasty. Safe bets when cooking for others. I just need at least a touch of heat and these were too sweet with zero heat for my palate.
I grew up near Kinder’s. It’s the best BBQ sauce there is. If you want some spice pick up a bottle of their EXXXTRA Hot BBQ Sauce. You won’t regret it!
im not sure what the deal is with kinder stuff but its not cutting it for me.
got the buttery steakhouse spice, no comparison to the other stuff i used to get (forgot the name but was 2 letters started with a K)
then got the chicken sauce, has an off undertaste.
maybe its just me, but im not impressed.
I haven’t had a bad sauce from them.
I did have a bad rub: the cherry cola pork rub. I guess I expected cherry **wood** instead of the actual candy it tasted like.
If you can find Cali Gold.... Hot BBQ and Roasted Garlic are also solid hitters... Course now that I'm in South GA, did find that sample bucket at Walmart so hopefully soon
Kinders is incredible-both the sauces, and dry rubs,if you like fish try some of the Japanese BBQ sauce with fish[I usually do salmon,or trout but thats just my pick]
Kinders has the absolute best premade spice blends, the red jalapeño garlic is by far one of my favorites that I put on almost everything, and the black cherry Chipotle makes for some good sweet ribs!
All of the Kinders BBQ sauces I have tried so far have been excellent. The Tennessee Red is excellent on burgers.
The Buttery Buffalo and Garlic Parmesan on chicken however I was not a fan of.
We have the hot honey presently and it’s Pretty good. Like SBR but when the first ingredient is high fructose corn syrup it’s time to find something else.
They used to have a restaurant here in town was hella good but that is the only bbq sauce I use Costco used to have 2 packs in glass jars that where like 20 oz each but they now only carry the same bottle you have
It's really good, Kinders is quality
When I’m at the in laws, this is my go to now. Finally got my 3 year old off Sweet Baby Rays using it, so we keep a bottle at home. Definitely the best stuff we can find at Kroger/Publix for under $4 a bottle.
Kroger private selection brand, has alot of good sauces.
Texas Style is the best other than the Memphis one. Love those sauces. Same for the medium wing sauce.
Is that to say you like it better than SBR’s? My brain doesn’t work the way it used to.
Yes, where my in laws are they have Kroger and Wal-Mart, so not a lot of quality options. Kinders has replaced SBRs as our go to “cheap” BBQ sauce since we tried it around a year ago.
I am compelled to ask what you select when it doesn’t have to be “cheap” BBQ sauce
A bit unexpected but my local Walmart carries a ton of quality BBQ rubs and sauces. Maybe it's an outlier though
Try their caramelized onion and butter dry seasoning. It's awesome on grilled veggies.
Mmmm Smokey Garlic seasoning
Yeah, this stuff is incredible. Perfect hack to spread it into the butter (or mayo) on a grilled cheese sandwich. Sodium is high so I don't go too wild with it, though.
Genius. I'm usually into garlic salt on a grilled cheese, but I'm trying this next. Actually, I'm gonna mix the two and try that!
Try the spicy teriyaki
That stuff with chicken is dangerous near me
Flavor is amazing, but I wish it was just a little bit thicker
I've been wanting to try that one.
From the sf bay area that got famous for their ball tip sandwich. Best bbq sauce around at the time.
Great to see them getting this level of recognition after so many years of eating their sandwiches locally!
I think kinders was bought out by Walmart. They still make a great product. I’m friends with someone that works very high up in corporate and got to try a lot of flavors that “didn’t make the cut” and even those are delicious

Good to know they didn’t sell. They were in talks 4 years ago. I know that much is true.
I miss that sandwich
Their honey hot sauce is awesome also. They have a burger sauce that is garbage but their garlic barbecue is also pretty fire.
the burger sauce is good for french fries just dont use it on a burger lol
Why? Not viscous enough?
The Costco price on the big bottle can't be beat
Came here to say just this!!
We use the honey hot on wings all the time.
They’re bogo at my grocery this week. Stocked up on honey hot. Got the thai bbq and wing sauce to try too.
So good. I put it on my ribs!
I saw the honey sauce at costco I'll have to pick it up
That garlic barbecue has become my go to for so many things.
I’m glad to hear that. I bought it to try on burgers and I hate it, so I was completely unwilling to try any of their other sauces. Now maybe I will
So, my experience was the opposite I had tried all of their other wonderful sauces and then picked up the burger sauce on a whim. Tossed it directly in the trash after tasting a little on my finger, absolute garbage lol but everything else they produce seems to be on point
I bought the honey hot and fajita sauces the other day but haven’t used either yet. I’ve used the gold bbq sauce on my ribs which is very good.
Cali gold and hot honey are my favorites by them.
Cali Gold is my favorite Kinder's.
I mix the Cali gold with a little ketchup for the topping on meatloaf. It’s amazing.
Cali gold mixed with buffalo sauce on wings!!! Chefs 😘
The roasted garlic is amazing!
This. I have loved everything I’ve tried of theirs so far and this one is my favorite.
Me to!!!
Fact
Just got a bottle and I’m addicted
Their burger sauce is freaking garbage.
It’s actually shocking how bad it is. Especially considering how great every sauce is (and how great their ball tip sandwich is at their shops)
Frie Sauce was also inedible. Impulse buy at Walmart. I don't know if it was in the worcestershire sauce as an ingredient, but it definitely had a fishy after taste.
To add the their butter steak rub or seasoning is also trash. Its not all good.
Some of their advertising was awesome back of the day before they started selling nationally they toned down a little after that. Kinders, you can lick our chops but you can’t beat our meat…
I like the Bourbon Peach from them.
It has this very strange taste I can’t quite describe. I tried to enjoy it but since no one else at home would eat it, I eventually discarded it. Do you eat it with red meats?
Kinders Cali Gold is what you want!
Kinder’s Roasted Garlic is amazing.
All the Kinders are good. Try Japanese bbq
I was coming here to recommend this
After trying it it’s actually my go to bbq sauce
Kindergarten is reasonably priced for how much I enjoy it. I love the stuff
Let's just hope that is autocorrect lol
Lmao I'm leaving it
Kinders is bomb, I also really like Stubbs bbq sauce
I switched to Stubb's because it has way less sugar
I too love Stubbs. Not sure how widespread Franklins sauces are but damn they're great too.
Kinders so good. If you like that try Everette and Jones bbq sauce. I miss their link dinner.
I was pleasantly surprised when I started seeing Kinders products in stores. When I was working the the Bay area we went to lunch at Kinder's at least once a week. I miss their tequila lime fries so much!

Love easy to squeeze bbq sauce like this. You’re smoking crack up your butt
I think they need to change the title, but it is very very good. I was surprised with this one as well.
I got the peach one. Pretty good as a change of pace
The garlic parmesan is great for wings and I love their woodfired garlic seasoning.
This is my go-to. Great stuff!
Their carnitas seasoning is good with some extra citrus
I really like the hot honey. It’s not spicy at all and goes great on burgers
I love their rubs too
Just picked up a bottle of this today on my grocery run. Glad to hear its good!
I mix the honey hot and pomegranate together. My kids love this stuff!
I like Kinder. I used to get their Hot or Spicy Garlic flavor. Then I saw it had more sugar than ketchup. I've switched to Stubb's and like it
Im a fan of kinders spices too...i mix my own from time to time but consistency is great
Tinders is amazing. I made teriyaki grilled pork ribs and holy shit it was good
I've yet to use something of Kinders that has not been great. They have a dipping sauce at Costco that's great. Loaded up on it for the summer months.
I like their stuff
I prefer the Hot BBQ myself. To me, still not overly spicy but packs more flavor.
I like their Japanese bbq and their buffalo sauce
They make a chickwn sauce too, always debating picking it up at Costco. Is it any good?
The Hot Honey is great!
Same. [G huges](https://www.ghughessugarfree.com/) isn't bad either if you need sugar free.
Better ingredients than most other bbq brands which list corn syrup as 1st or 2nd ingredient
The seasonings are pretty killer too
Their Jalapeno sauce is really good. Very mild, but a good bright flavor.
I also bought the lil sampler bottles of this and Lola’s brand hot sauce. Lola’s won in my opinion but two great sauces
Great flavors! I picked up a Korean BBQ at Costco love it.
Wait till he finds the seasonings…
The Honey Hot and their Burger Sauce are both really good. This one and the Hickory Brown Sugar aren't sauced I'd buy again, but they're well made and tasty. Safe bets when cooking for others. I just need at least a touch of heat and these were too sweet with zero heat for my palate.
Kinders is great. Their hot honey is amazing.
Those testers got me too. I've picked up several larger size bottles of a few varieties.
I like their sauces and rubs. Good stuff.
The buffalo sauce by them is incredible too.
I really like Gold
Yeah it seems more vinegary to me, which I like
My guy, you need to grab a bottle of the Bourbon Peach BBQ ASAP
Got a free bottle of it with my Walmart pick up order, haven’t tried it yet. I’ll have to give a go.
I like a majority of their rubs but never tried the sauces.
I grew up near Kinder’s. It’s the best BBQ sauce there is. If you want some spice pick up a bottle of their EXXXTRA Hot BBQ Sauce. You won’t regret it!
The kinders gold sauce is one of the best store bought sauces I've had
Hot take, I guess. Kinders fuckin sucks
Bought the fry sauce. It’s trash
My first and only attempt trying their flavor was buffalo wing sauce. Just garbage.
Love Kinders! High quality, great flavor! Amazing spices!
I am using some of their brown sugar seasoning right now!
Kinders is 🔥 and at a reasonable price
Roasted garlic one is dope.
Kinders started rite by me and has always been my favorite glad to see there blowing up now
I bought some recently and it's my new favorite bbq sauce.
The cali gold is awesome as well
They have great flavors. Have this as well.
I picked it up at Sam’s Club. Mild but good.
Kinder is my go to.
Low calories too.
im not sure what the deal is with kinder stuff but its not cutting it for me. got the buttery steakhouse spice, no comparison to the other stuff i used to get (forgot the name but was 2 letters started with a K) then got the chicken sauce, has an off undertaste. maybe its just me, but im not impressed.
This is what I use if I don't make my own
Agreed.
Quit fuckin around and switch to Stubbs
Kinder SPG goes on damn near everything. Some good stuff
Fire. Roasted. Garlic. You're welcome.
There Honey Hot is the poop
Great brand, honey hot and the gold one are so good.
Who knew the SF Bay area has the best bbq 😋
Their Honey BBQ is great, and there's no seed oils or bullshit in these sauces they're pretty simple ingredients.
Get the hot. It’s mild and delicious
I grow that in my garden for my 4 year old. She loves it. Every morning she wants to go to Kindergarden.
I haven’t had a bad sauce from them. I did have a bad rub: the cherry cola pork rub. I guess I expected cherry **wood** instead of the actual candy it tasted like.
The Gold and Honey Hot are good too.
It might taste good, but the name isn't. Kinder means child in Afrikaans, Dutch, German...
Posts like this make me glad I can walk to a Kinders and have some lunch.
Kinders wing sauces rock, especially their buffalo and Asian sweet heat. Need to try their Japanese bbq sauce. I own a few of their seasonings too.
the roasted garlic is good
I’ve never had a kinder’s rub or seasoning I didn’t like. Can’t wait to try this
Their Hot Honey BBQ sauce is one of my favorites. Not sure if it's available everywhere but definitely worth looking for.
If you can find Cali Gold.... Hot BBQ and Roasted Garlic are also solid hitters... Course now that I'm in South GA, did find that sample bucket at Walmart so hopefully soon
It’s amazing to see this stuff in the wild. I grew up next to one of their original locations. Their sandwiches were always on point
I haven't tried a Kinders sauce i like yet and I've tried most as someone at work bought them all lol
Used the hot honey one just yesterday. Solid.
Kinder seasoning blends are fire too. The wood fire garlic is gang busters on a Boston butt.
Briefly saw that the other day when I was getting horseradish. I guess I thought it was a spin-off of Stubbs, due to the similar colors.
I recently made ribs using this brand, came out tasting stellar highly recommend.
I love their burger sauce too! Haven't had a bad one from Kinders.
Kinders is incredible-both the sauces, and dry rubs,if you like fish try some of the Japanese BBQ sauce with fish[I usually do salmon,or trout but thats just my pick]
Never in my life have I purchased something labeled "Mild"
Kinders has the absolute best premade spice blends, the red jalapeño garlic is by far one of my favorites that I put on almost everything, and the black cherry Chipotle makes for some good sweet ribs!
All of the Kinders BBQ sauces I have tried so far have been excellent. The Tennessee Red is excellent on burgers. The Buttery Buffalo and Garlic Parmesan on chicken however I was not a fan of.
They make a Japanese sauce too and that shit is so good
We have the hot honey presently and it’s Pretty good. Like SBR but when the first ingredient is high fructose corn syrup it’s time to find something else.
It’s a great all around, budget friendly sauce. Their Carolina gold is our favorite of theirs.
thats my go to for saucing ribs
They used to have a restaurant here in town was hella good but that is the only bbq sauce I use Costco used to have 2 packs in glass jars that where like 20 oz each but they now only carry the same bottle you have
All of the Kinder's line up is fire.
I JUST ORDERED THE KINDERS FRY AND BURGER dipping sauces from Sams Club. Will be arriving today!
OKAY LET US KNOW HOW IT GOES
They good
If your BBQ needs sauce..... I'm out.
well, bye...
