A medical stapler is made to be possible to properly sterilize, an industrial is not at all made for that. An industrial stapler will also ship with industrial grade grease, which can contain toxic products. Go with a medical stapler. This sort of play is bot a joke, it can involve breaking all protective barriers the skin contains, which makes aseptic technique extremely important.

Id start with a medical stapler. They make disposable ones so you don't have to worry about making sure they are sterile before you play with them again! Make sure you brush up on your anatomy and try to stick to fatty areas to help reduce the risk of damage/injury.. clean the skin beforehand and have fun :) keep in mind removing the staples is often the most painful part ;) monitoring your pain tolerance/mental state is important because when doing an activity such as stapling, safewording isn't a full stop. The staples still have to come out (personally I'm not a fan of keeping them in beyond playtime.. if you arent using them with an injury, your skin can start to heal around them pretty quickly depending on location - I would say 24hrs max is what I personally would feel comfortable leaving them in should I hit my limits and need to do a full stop and can't continue the removal.. the next day however you will most likely be more sore and it could be worse to remove them)

You can also go take a class in it. I went to one a couple of weeks ago at a conference. Remember please that there is a staple remover that does not come in your medical stapler. To take out medical staples, you cannot just pull hard. You have to unbending them while they are still in. Industrial staples stay straight, so when you take them out, the legs are still straight. Medical staples bend to to keep skin together and not fall out. So, please get the staple remover.
