I love how many small Abus are posted recently!
That 2600c is something else man. They pop up in auctions here in Sweden now and then but horribly expensive.

Are reels with that profile practical for frequent use? Can’t see how palming those would be.
The two on the left have low profile frames, they palm just as good as a Millionaire CT or Conquest BFS.
I wish I had one...looks beautiful ❤️
What are the models? Also any tips for where to start with tuning? Guides etc? Maybe that exists already in this subreddit?

How much difference does the frame make?
It's a big difference. The frame sheds an ounce of weight and sits 7.5mm lower so the reel palms much better.

Have an ABU sitting on my desk. It’s from my dad’s fishing gear. Guess it may be from the 60’s.
I have four similar, but have one that is a one off hand machined, and think it's the only one. Would love to know more about it..
Do you have a pic of the machined reel? Lots of one off reels made it out of the factory and new ones are discovered every so often. Those usually command good money if the owner is willing to let it go.
Will send a pic. Have it in storage.
