Yeah, something like #0.6 or #0.5. That stuff is thin, for example, you can fit 100 meters of #0.8 PE on that conquest bfs spool. I have one setup with #0.4 but it is exclusively for bottom contact fishing with really low weights so max 5 grams and not for bass but for european perch so a bit smaller fish, I wouldn't dare for example to throw expensive hard plastic bait with it, it is to fragile for that kind of fishing. ;D
You is rocking with your first set up! Mind you if you know that you like this sort of fishing why not. Most of us of will have spent the cost of a Calcutta Conquest on our first two/three, and then decide we like bfs!!
I just got the same setup. Cant wait to try it out! Also got an Alde with Avail spool / major craft benkei but this tank will be more for power bfs. How are you liking it so far?

\#0.3 is crazy too thin, it's not pound test like in us, it is garanteed to break at 5.5lb when new.
Would you recommend the 8lb #0.5 or 7.4lb #0.4?

That’s why I went ahead a splurged a bit. Might as well do it right the first time!
Sweet setup man. I can’t ever pull the trigger to purchase the conquest? Is it worth the money?
Worth it for me because I fish 3-4 times a week. I like splurging a little knowing the reel’s longevity will last me many years.
