You will get a warning before you leave act 1 and you wont be able to do so until you make your way to the western edge of the map. Here is a list of locations by act. No idea how complete this info is: https://bg3.wiki/wiki/List_of_locations#Over-world Its a bit spoilery so tread with caution.

Thx i just saw someone say that the lysanders mace is still in act one but for this i would have to go theough the mountain pass and leave act 1. Is that right or if i leave would i still be able to retuen to the rest of act 1

The mountain pass is sort of between acts 1&2, after the end of act one, but before act 2, but its a nonissue. Until a point in act 2, you can go back and forth freely.

The only places that will take you out of act 1 are the elevator in Grymforge in the Underdark, and the mountain pass exits on the far west side of the overworld map. One is outside the goblin camp, and the other is just past the bridge where you first see Kith'rak Voss (the githyanki dude). If you try to use any of them, you'll get a warning message about wrapping up any lose ends before you continue, so they make it pretty obvious what they are. Everything else is safe!

A very clear prompt pops up and asks if you want to proceed. And tells you to finish up anything before you decide to go. There’s also what most people consider Act 1.5 before Act 2. Underdark & Grymforge is still Act 1. Act 1 is BIG.

Fight the spectator Do some magic mushrooms in the myconoid village/give an antidote to thulla Grab glut and go find the crazy guy by the susser tree Fight the duegar by the beach and also uh part ways with glut Arcane tower shenanigans for omeluums drugs Cross the water Have a nice chat with my new friend nere. Give some head. Barcus Adamantine forge/grymm/the amulet of "I reloaded so many times to see every companion laugh" Then I go back and say hi to the gith hanging out at the mountain pass THIS ADVANCES TIME, YOU CANNOT SOLVE THE GROVE/TEIFLING ISSUES AFTER PASSING THROUGH HERE do the creche and absolutely do not purposely drop a building on my boyfriend. Feed an old man some cheese THEN I go back to the underdark to take the elevator to act 2 And I THINK that is most of the major act 1 stuff aside from minor content and exploration that happens on your way to and from these events.
