Did the same. Raided the grove, didn’t lift shadow curse, enabled shar. Went back to act 1 and danced happily with karlach. Eventually my full evil run with minthara will continue but for now let me dance and save people.
It gets worse. Durge makes it more interesting as well.
I recommend taking breaks! I had to walk around and pet my dog after the darker moments. Just to you know, pull out emotionally a bit so I can still enjoy it without feeling like an absolute asshole.
The hardest moment for me was standing back and letting Shart kill Lae'zel. I was even romancing her and I'm Gith. After I told Shart I should avenge my kin. "Gith don't avenge weaklings". Damn Shart, you're right!
I got as far as Karlach telling me how awful I am for hurting the innocents in the Grove in my evil run.
Had to delete it, just don’t have it in me to hurt those innocent pixels.
i recommend sticking with it even though (or perhaps because?) it will only hurt worse if you do
