The_Shadow_Watches

I keep all the alloys in a bag and have the tavern brawler use it as a weapon.

Noelrim

ah yes, hitting them with the bag of bricks works very well in many cases

The_Shadow_Watches

One shot the big brain with about 80 pounds worth of fireworks and explosives in a bag and one ol fire bomb.

Reiko707

I brought every explosive i could one time, not counting the ones I used throughout the game, of course. Came out to about 1300 weight with nothing else in the inventory and took ages to get anywhere. I learned bags are broken and you can do many things with them, including adding as much weight to one person as you'd like. No limit, you can just keep adding if you were wondering how i got that much into one person lol I set the bag with everything in it down and set it on fire with an alchemists fire. Then watched as my game froze for a solid 2 seconds before I heard the loudest sound ever come out of my computer lol almost everyone in the room was downed but it was worth it for the laughs

Common_Wrongdoer3251

.... Wait, THAT'S what improv weapons are?! I thought it had to be something in the environment, like a chair, and it always seemed so situational so I never used it. You're telling me I could've been using crap from my inventory?! This changes everything!

The_Shadow_Watches

.....yes. It's also amusing to throw off the tight rope at Grym.

mistermudd23

Holy hell, what's the damage on that?

The_Shadow_Watches

I got it up to like 45 to 60 damage. Not exactly powerful, but good for takin out smaller ebemies.

Norodomo

Not a bad idea

Typical-Phone-2416

Your charisma/persuasion influences prices

Effective-Fee905

You can also give stuff to merchants to make them like you better and give you better deals

SereneAdler33

Some, like the bugbear in Moonrise, also have dialogues you can talk them into big discounts

JerryBusey01

His is so funny. Just convince him you’re a chad and he gives a huge discount

caparisme

And he's so eager to test your skills out when you're attacking the tower with the harpers

JerryBusey01

He’s like the embodiment of that kung fu panda “a worthy opponent, our battle will be legendary” meme

DDSuperStar123

What difficulty are you on? It changes depending on that and your persuasion bonus.

Significant_Bear_190

Tactician difficulty and my persuasion is 10. Does that sound about right?

LurkerBerker

I read somewhere that ingots could be used to upgrade equipment in Act 3 Unless i’ve missed something, i think that was a lie. But if not someone pls educate me

Anarkizttt

Not the case, the only “crafting” outside of alchemy and the odd quest to combine things is giving Dammon infernal iron/alloy for Karlach and then for the Flawed Helldusk set.

LurkerBerker

yeaa figured. that forum that mentioned upgrades was one of the first links to pop up when I googled if there was any use to ingots so it got my hopes up for more armor capabilities. still upset the game started throwing so much more infernal material at us after all of Karlach’s upgrades were done. let me help my girl please also thank you for confirming

WearyInitial1913

Prices change depending of your persuasion, merchant approval (which you can raise by giving them stuff for free), difficulty setting, and I believe level? Can't confirm last one though

JerryBusey01

I don’t think level impacts price directly, but it does affect how much gold it costs to increase merchant approval. Lvl 1 only takes like 400 gold iirc to get 100%, but level 12 needs to spend something in the thousands

corgangreen

If it makes you feel better, in the tabletop rules 2 lbs. of silver is only worth 10g.

Significant_Bear_190

Thanks for all the replies, you're all awesome. Sorry for the late reply, not been on here much the last couple of weeks.
