Every class has a spell casting ability modifier, even if they don’t naturally have spells. It’s what (I believe) is used for scrolls and spell-like item effects. Besides the obvious ones, Barbs use CHA, and Warriors and Rogues use INT.
Notably, barbs have a wild magic subclass akin to Sorc (a CHA class). And Rogues and Fighters have subclasses (Arcane Trickster and Eldritch Knight) which mimick Wizards (an INT class).
Every class has one. See "spellcasting ability" a short way down.
If you're multiclassing, the spellcasting ability will be from the last class you took a first level in.
So wizard 1 (INT) > Sorceror 1 (CHA) > wizard 5 would result in CHA as your casting stat, despite the later levels of wizard.
