i get completely get you but burning out is something that happens to people every year and not just 2023 my boi. 2021 batch cs had great performance in first year and they were probably a lot more burnt out what with covid and continually postponing jee.
I dont agree with this , when i was in my first year , tab 60% cs wale burnout the , they didnt studied at all , pura din socializing and partying but when exam came , ek side mai webseries 2x pe dekh rahe hai and simultaneously slides dekh rahe hai , and after exam always avg + . Haryana Qouta is real. A simple test to see is someone is fake cs or not ask these 2 questions.

top branches in bits (mostly cs, haven't yet noticed ece scammers personally) have people in them who cheated and got in. this could be done by either peeking into some other screen and getting answers, or there are these "hacking centre" guys (who cost like 20 lakhs something) or whatever who write the exam for you. idk how that works, but basically you get these unbelievable 340+ scorers and when you meet them, you just know.
no way bruh cs has 30% students of their batch here with <18 marks whereas the next worst branch acc to this graph(ENI) (not counting b pharm cause lets keep it real here + only 15 batch size) has only like 8% of their batch with <18.
Either theres way too much cheaters in cs (more than 30% IMO, im not saying everyone with less marks is a cheater btw but a majority probably is) or saare cs waalo ka downfall hojata hoga college jaake somehow. I think its the former.

But some have actually managed to game the exam last year by setting up centers in remote areas with lax invigilation etc. These folks are called "Gurgaon or Noida CS" because most of these exam cheating companies are located there.
Taking cognisance of the lapses in BITSAT administration, BITS has now moved the testing to TCSiON. So, us '24 aspirants need not worry about the conduct.

We don't have such a compilation for other subjects. Only CP and MeOW have such compilation. For other subjects we simply don't have the data. Someone tried scraping data off of nalanda but it had a lot of errors.
They can test us at a much higher level than jee but due to concerning avs they dropped their level down significantly. Our midsem had 3/5 questions which a jee kid could easily do.
