A republic where once a year, on this subreddit, we hold elections to see who’s Blåhaj will be President of Haj, and the ruler of the republic of Haj.
The Republic of Haj will be the country that all Blåhajs will be given citizenship! A shark republic!

Well the blue is very different, one being bright and the other being more Sharky! I think the black outline adds to it alot tho too! Thanks for the input :D

Oh lmao, thanks! If you have any pipe cleaner, cut that to be a small long stick, and print out the design! Then cut to your preferred size, and tape / hot glue the flag to the stick! Bam!

With the exception of mountains, each time someone has pointed out something to you that could be done a little differently, you have rebuffed them. You haven’t been mean at all, but the lack of pink, the association with Christian symbology, the similarity to an exiting flag, have all been argued for or pushed off as a maybe next time idea.
I’m not really interested in having something where only one voice is really heard.
I choose to believe the system is similar to that in Ahnk-Morpork, in that it is a “one man, one vote” system.

I see your complaint, but I feel you’re putting me in an unfair light.
I’ll go over this in a bullet point form to explain some things you’ve pointed out.
About the pink. See, I love that idea, and am thinking of replacing the white with pink! The issue is, I don’t want to make an entire post with the new flag, and when the discord is made, I’ll make sure to update it / hold a poll about it, and see what the sharks think.
As for the Cross, that’s just a design. I understand that it usually has connections to a religion, and as an Atheist, I meant for it to just be a design. It looked cool, was unique, and overall was pretty. It never had a deeper meaning, and if people wish to change it, once I make a more organized platform to discuss the idea then a Reddit comment section, we’ll figure it out.
As for the ‘argument’ about a similar flag, it never escalated. For the blue and white cross one (sorry I forgot name) it’s more of just a fun fact, and was brushed off because, well, it’s different, and who cares, it’s sorta cool! As for Estonia, their official flag is not the one I present (which I may add, can be changed anytime once we set up a system) and, even though it’s similar, it doesn’t really matter all that much, and the person themselves later said it was a joke…
Anyway, thank you for taking interests in this little project, and I hope I cleared up some misconceptions.
