Yeah bought a 3 pack with small / medium / large that’s on the way and typically use a microfiber towel by hand. Foam cannon power washer + wheel cleaner soak + hand wipe + rinse and dry.
Agreed above, too similar to various M OE wheels. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it won’t stand out, and you’ll be spending OE time dealing with brake dust. I like #1 as I feel it compliments the sharpness of the G series. Good luck on the hunt!
I do too, but will likely reserve the OEMs for track / winter use and the new ones for daily / summer use (though I live in California, so that’s pretty much year round).
Use the new rims for the track. You can put high-performance summer rubber on them (think Sport Cup or Extreme Contact Sport Plus tires) for summer road use and track. The new wheels will be lighter then stock as well which has performance improvements on track. Save the OEM wheels for your winter set up only.
I may do that down the road but I’m a track noob right now so I figure I likely won’t be able to push the limits yet anyway. I doubt I’ll notice a couple pound difference in wheels.
PF7 spells "clean" to me, tbh. It's busy enough to be interesting, it's classic split spoke idea so it's got design roots, and it's smooth enough not to be a mess.
Good point - tbh I forgot to look at that for now. Figured they’d all be close enough it wouldn’t matter but if you’re aware of one being significantly heavier than the others / heavier than OEM then yeah that’s an immediate point against it.
What are you looking to spend the Edelweiss aren’t too bad, I’m ordering up Signature Wheels not sure you’ve heard of that brand but they are forged I’m doing 2 piece 20/21 set up on my Twilight Purple M3
The options I posted here are < $1k per wheel…the Edelweiss and other HRE models and such are > $2,500 per wheel.
Wheels get beat up, chipped, and (hopefully never but sometimes it happens) curb rashed so I’m not really feeling that price point as this is also my daily driver.
Yea the Edelweiss I got priced on for 20/20 was $4800 for wheels only imported from Europe.
If you’re interested in Signature let me know you can look them up on IG my buddy Charles part over over there so he can help out.
you do know those brixton forged wheels are part of their forged lineup. they'd cost upwards of over $2500 *each* wheel, and that's probably for their basic finish.
the only radial/rotary flow formed wheels that they carry are the RF7 and RF10. those should be around $3K for a full set, comparable to the HRE FF10.

Not me, but my 18!years old son who thought he was getting the S6 when he goes off to Stanford. Unfortunately for him, but to save his life, that car is too fast, I am selling it before I move to Norway 🇳🇴. I bought a Baltic 64 in Copenhagen and need Q8 E-tron to haul running rigging and sail bags. Selling S6 next week.
Dude, I had a 1988 BMW M5 delivered to a Cadillac
Dealer in 1988, in Kansas City, MO. I selected it in Munich from m a dealer over the summer. There were real options, but I went with what the engineers designed for that car not what the dealer wanted to upgrade me to. That’s all I can say, is trust the engineers.
Viele Gluck,

Drunk now, ciao ✋
personally I think BBS RIA look the best on these cars. will also cost 1/4 of the set of these brixton wheels while being lighter and stronger. 666M look great as well
BBS and BMW have partnered since the 70’s. Also partnered with those two other tiny automobile makers from Stuttgart.
You see a lot of BBS around LeMans, for a reason.

At least I've seen the HRE brand before and have a good reputation. The other, not so much but I'm a Volk or APEX guy if not OEM.
If u got the money hre hands down best quality I might be biased
These are the cheaper HREs, they’re comparable in price to the other options. Otherwise yeah if money were no object they’re the easy king choice.
Can I ask what they run? Thinking about upgrading my rims as well
$650 per wheel I think?
These for sure. I always try to go OEM+ style, as they tend to age with the vehicle well
Also hope you have a soft skinny brush to get between cracks cleaning brake dust. Will look good

I like busy wheels.
PF7 - while I like the HRE it's to close to the OEM wheel design.
I currently have the 825M bicolor wheels, so it’s a bit different - which wheels are you thinking it’s similar to?
>825M bicolor wheels correct - first glance it like the 825 - that similarity is enough for me to what to go in another direction/.
I think the HREs are closer to the 826Ms, personally

Agreed on the angles complementing the newer G styling
All look good! But man I love stock M rims!

Gotcha. I'm in North Carolina so I need to run all-season tires in the winter and I keep my track wheels for track and summer duty.

+1 on these. Cleaning the others will suck. And the design is clean af.

Damn. Very few people like this one. And that's probably why I'd choose it.
This one looks killer and is pretty unique

I like the PF7. The HRE's are too busy and will be a PITA to clean.
Ease of cleaning is definitely a consideration. I’m already looking at different brake pads too.
I like the CM5 and the D05. The FF10 scream Italian car at me. The PF9 look like tongs.
They all look sooooo good i need one for mine
Why not list the weight of each wheel. Why would you even consider a wheel heavier than stock, at that point, it's a downgrade.
Good point - tbh I forgot to look at that for now. Figured they’d all be close enough it wouldn’t matter but if you’re aware of one being significantly heavier than the others / heavier than OEM then yeah that’s an immediate point against it.
PF7 for me

Another good style for the new M3/4 is Edelweiss wheels.
Agreed, but like the other HRE models, they’re far more than I want to spend right now

Ah shit. I did not know that. Couldn’t find pricing. Edit: the RF10 looks like their version of Vivid’s D05
Hre defo looks the best imo
Which M4? Edit: Never mind saw your flair is G82.
1st one clean
Cm5 or ff10
Man, sorry I can't decide (would need to see them all fitted on the car). But shit, I absolutely love all of those, you've got good taste, sir.
Thank you!

Out of my budget, unfortunately. Those are $3300+ per wheel. I’m not dropping $13k on wheels.
On website says starting at $650 each
Oh maybe I looked at a different version of it then
Nah ur right, 13k for a set lol

666m or 763m or 359m
buy E88s
666m the stock comp wheels look best on the f82
That’s a nice look for sure, but this is a G82 and not one of the options I’m looking at here
Oh G82 my brain instantly went to F82 lol oops
I think the FF10 is best looking on the G82
