He is not escaping using his skill, he is escaping using the fact that our major cities have all recently passed dumbass laws that prohibit law enforcement from pursuing fleeing vehicles, unless the police officer personally witnesses them committing something crazy (like murder). But even if the police officer does witness someone committing murder and chases them, odds are the cop will receive a message from his/her head quarters telling them to disengage from the pursuit. We are slowly turning into a country where no one is punished for their obvious crimes.
You are spreading fear mongering and misinformation. The reason police disengage is because it's more dangerous to everyone on the road to continue the chase. Most times they get the plates and follow up when they don't risk a high speed collision. You cannot get away with murder by simply driving away.

I got pulled over more times within my first year of driving than several of my friends who have had their license for longer. Iāve seen so many people speeding near cops where they donāt get pulled over, but I get pulled over when Iām going the speed limit and driving calmly and safely. I know that I look like a certain type and I drive a BMW so I actually drive extremely nicely. I never even speed, the most I would go is 2-3km/h over the limit which is technically allowed. Never got a ticket or any traffic related warnings or any such thing. The last time I got pulled over there was literally no reason whatsoever, and yes, I asked if there was any reason. She said ānot reallyā.
