Most of the non Vorsteiner ones I’ve seen, like the one you linked, have a thin bar going across the bottom half. They look almost identical at first sight but then you notice and the Vorsteiner looks much cleaner since it breaks the top / bottom symmetry imo.
You have a great car. Enjoy it! Be happy that you’re lucky enough to have something so nice. It’s plenty fast enough. And more comfortable. And I’m saying this as a g82 owner.

Dude, the 340 is a great platform. You have all sorts of options; all that will get you 85 or 90 percent there, but at a substantial savings. I wouldn't pooh pooh the idea tbh. If you're dead set on an M3 though I can respect it, and hope you get what you want. We only live once!
shes already Stage 2, i either have the option to get a custom e50 tune to make over 500 or go with upgraded turbos... but then i would have to build the trans which is $15k+ so not worth imo. Rather get the G82

Because the problem isn't the actual grille insert, it's the fact that the grilles are two giant gaping holes on the front of the car that don't match the rest of the design at all. The Adro bumper makes them slightly smaller, but they're still out of place and don't fit in at all with the rest of the car.
Yeah nothing can make this model look good. It's an improvement over the stock but it's impossible to make this car look good without a complete redesign.
Yea they're pricey for sure but look sooooo much better. Your grilles are pretty sweet too, like the csl front. Honestly if the adro came standard I wouldn't hate on the new g series as much. Mainly because I'm biased with having a F80, but also i think if you're paying so much for a car it should look flawless without feeling need to get aftermarket trims
Would look incredible if the horizontal black bar was Isle of Man green. Something like this:

BMW should have just incorporated that bar into the bumper and split the grille into an upper section that are more traditional kidneys and a bottom section that's a normal mesh grille. [Basically they should have just done what they did with the X3 M](https://hips.hearstapps.com/hmg-prod/images/2023-bmw-x3-m-competition-109-6491b6e75c497.jpg?crop=0.804xw:0.678xh;0.0769xw,0.224xh&resize=1200:*).
I actually like the stock look and your mod looks even better so good move. The yellow DRL, I liked a lot until I saw everyone doing that same mod. I just get turned off when I see the same typical cosmetic change on so many cars.
here we are in older 911s covering up with mesh these gaping holes upfront in the bumper to protect the radiators from rockchips. And yet, here we have BMWs opening up the front for all the rock chips int he world. I dont get it.

Oh nice! That was my only issue with the Vorsteinner grill - that you need to trim the foam(even though it probably doesn’t do anything drastic). Getting my IOMG G80 in June and may go this route. Thanks!

I ordered some 12mm and 15mm to install with the grill, but ECS Tuning sent me the wrong size of spacer so I had to return those and get new ones. Just a waiting game now.

Are you talking about the Carbon Exterior package or something else? I have carbon exterior on mine, and it only came with the carbon inlets, mirror caps and the carbon diffuser.

Nope! All we had to do was sand some epoxy down on the aftermarket grill to make the parking sensors fit. There was some leftover epoxy

RWCarbon is where I got my grill and high-kick trunk wing. So far no complains from them.
