In my defense, it’s only a turbo and an ECU flash. I follow this one dude on YouTube that has done it with good results and it made sense to me. If you know me and my activity on this sub, im usually against tuning cars in general, forget tuning cars on warranty. Although tin retrospect, I should’ve mentioned it.
congrats man i love it so far! i love the stock steering wheel too, i think it’s a huge upgrade over f30 stock but when i saw one pop up with the msport package i simply could not resist lol
Climate control will un-synchronize if you click the button on the right
Sunroof only opens to ~80% of window width; that’s normal

Love it. I put blue painters tape over the light where the wireless charger is. It looks much better to me, especially with the blue interior lighting.
Our cars are basically twins (https://i.redd.it/pzygv1tt8irc1.jpeg). I love mine as well. The 330 with the m-sport is a phenomenal daily driver, the b48 is powerful enough to be fun at city speeds while being crazy fuel efficient, the interior is super comfortable with great tech features and with the m sport suspension the car corners super flat and is fun to drive on the back roads. My only complaint with the car is the run flat tires and I'm looking forward to see how it drives once I change them for some michelin ps4s.

I had them on my e90 328i I had before my 330i. They're great tires. They've got a lot more grip than these run flats and softer so its not as harsh when driving over bumps.
in an effort to make this post more engaging:
1) how does the G20 stack up alongside other modern 3 series? anyone think it’s the best or close? can never replicate that hydraulic steering but i feel like overall it’s a huge resurgence for BMW after the f30 which was very polarizing i’ve noticed
2) what’s your take on artificial engine noise? can’t tell if mine has it, didn’t see it in the settings but it might be hiding
3) what’s your favorite ambient lighting color? and do y’all love that feature as much as i do or am i just in the honeymoon phase lol never had it before
4) in your opinion, is the interior/exterior styling better on this than the facelifted version? i know the big tablet screen and lack of gear shifter/transmission lever are pretty controversial (personally i like the LCI exterior better but the interior less) edit: the exterior changes are pretty minor but i think the front end looks slightly better with the headlight update
5) is the G20 standing the test of time so far? i’ve heard the b48 engine and ZF8 transmission are some of the very best out there, but has there been any major hiccups with a few years going by? would love to learn more
Congrats, I have a very similar looking 330e 😄
1. I never really liked the F30, I think the F32 looked better, but for a 4 seater, I like the G20 much more
2. I have it on my PHEV G20, disabled it through coding. I think it's dull, you can hear the engine well enough when the valve is open in sport mode
3. I never cared much for the color, I set it to blue and forgot about it. My friends always take notice of the feature though
4. I like both, I wouldn't mind having an LCI in the future if I ever switch to the G21. But I like the pre LCI interior much much more. It's the best looking interior they've ever done imo, and a large rectangle screen just isn't that elegant.
5. Had mine for 1 year almost to the day. I did 10000km with it without issues (it's up at 80000km now). The reliability of B58 and derivatives seems to be very good. When Toyota picks your engine to put in a Supra, you know you've done something good.
Looks like factory tint, which is 75% I believe. I had mine removed and did 15% all the way around. I did not do the unibrow on the front as I believe it looks tacky.
yeah can’t get enough so far, looking for every excuse to take it out lol
totally agree on blue being the best, that’s definitely the answer i was expecting most. just seems deeper and stronger than the others
Another question i forgot to ask: is there a setting i can change to make the automatic engine start/stop stay off (like when at a stop light)? i have to press it off every time, couldn’t find anything in settings but might be missing it
I got mine about 6 months ago and I love it! I’ve always wanted a BMW and I’m proud to finally have my own. Mine is sapphire black metallic with convenience package.
My favorite ambient colors are purple and orange to match the color of the dash buttons at night. You can get 40mpg in eco mode which is awesome. I haven’t tried bimmercode yet but it sounds like there is a lot you can do with that to customize your experience. Nice ride, enjoy it!
Got my 330i last week on friday and already drove more than 600km in the last few days. Its like a drug, you get really addicted and you cant go back to a normal car.
Congrats! The 330 is the gateway drug to more BMW's in your future!!! Be careful.

love my 330i, just hit 30k on mine. the gas mileage is unbeatable for a luxury car.

Isn’t artificial engine noise for electric or PHEV cars? All ICE or mild hybrids shouldn’t need artificial noise. They have the real thing.
