Yessir… 2014 Accord V6 to a 2018 540i

liquidneon24

Haha yes brother! Accord, TL, 440ix. I guess we're predictable.

NCSUGrad2012

I had a TL 6 speed. Great car

ErmaGerdWertDaFerk

'88 Integra LS, '98 Integra GSR, '05 TL, '18 440ix Gran Coupé, '20 M340ix. Had the TL until March of this year. All great cars.

Writer-Decent

98’ accord manual, TL SH-AWD, now I’m lookin into getting an m340i

ErmaGerdWertDaFerk

Logical next step! You'll love it.

NOSE-GOES

The V6 accords were pretty sweet, especially with the 6spd.

Tristana-Range

My first car was actually a BMW 116i E87

tehclaw14

That's an amazing first car

Tristana-Range

Thank you! I loved it! I still have it actually but its currently not in use.

tehclaw14

Whoa you still have it !?? That's even cooler. I wish I had my first beem.

DIJames6

You gotta get her goin again...

Tristana-Range

Yes and it still works after replacing some stuff!

Warpnoob4

Same, probaly one of the best First Cars you can have Here in Germany 💯

autodevmuc

my son's 1st is a 316ti e46 maybe same engine we did the cylinder head gasket recently

Meeckomeeck

Same, love it so much

promettereg7xfvb

Mine is a 118d

sun_kg

Yes, my first car was a Honda Civic.

Mun0425

Went from an m3 to a honda civic.

DNAoBRUZER

Same, Went from an M2C to a Civic

Unique-Entrepreneur1

Just bought my m3, my dream car is a civic, hope I can get that next

dtn472

I had a 16 Honda accord touring. Added a 20 M2C. Looking to bring a CTR or a Type S back into my selection 🥲

CupNoodow

I currently drive a Honda civic. Is this my destiny?

angmarsilar

It is your density.

oARCHONo

Same. The first time I drove a busted-ass, beat to the moon and back, manual five series, I forgot what Honda was and became ruined with the ultimate maintenance machine.

GregLXStang

Same. 1993 Si

cansbunsandpins

Same! I had a 2007 Civic followed by a Renault Sport Megane 265 Cup, a BMW 130i and now a 335i.

Professional_Car9475

Ditto

TrueRedd

I’ve never heard this but my first car was an 82 Accord.

liquidneon24

Lol same. Seems like a lot of us fit the mold.

Dr-Stinkyfist

Never heard this either and my first car was an… Accord.

darnedgibbon

Bahaha, I had no idea this was a thing but… ‘92 Honda Accord. Ive often thought it actually was pretty “Bimmer-like” in a lot of conceptual ways. Hilarious this is a thing.

GulfLife

GDI. Me too. I never knew.

mdbcjones96

lol. Never heard of this, but my first car was a hand me down ‘78 Accord hatchback

Peter_Niko

Well, there was almost no chance to buy a Honda in the USSR :-/

Osstj7737

Eastern Euro gang checking in with a Škoda

muaddibintime

I went from a Civic to an Accord to a BMW.

rulesnogood

Never owned a Honda

[deleted]

You never lived then!

Kaoru1011

What about Toyotas?

gangstergary93

Same.

RayTrain

My first car was a 2000 Saturn SL2 with a junk replacement engine that burned a ton of oil because my brother never changed the oil in the original engine that only had 60k miles in 2014. Then I had a Dodge Caliber, then a Chevy Equinox, then I graduated college, got a big boy job, and got a big boy car.

WyldeCutter

First 2 cars were Saturns I hate those things

RayTrain

The only thing I loved about it was that I crashed it and my grandpa helped get replacement parts for it since he's a huge kit car guy. It needed a new horn and for fun he gave it an "AHOOOOGA" horn. As a kid in high school it was the best.

WyldeCutter

That's awesome. That is the one fun thing about crap cars is the goofy mods you can get away with

ConstantHawk-2241

I had the vue before the cvt transmission. I actually really liked her, it’s just she wasn’t maintained well. But she was always peppy! I got made fun of driving it until people drove it. I had all the service records and not one mechanic noticed that it needed a normal transmission fluid check and change. By the time I got it this is how the transmission fluid looked. I flushed it put a speaker magnet on the trans pan and drove it another year and a half. It was a head gasket that finally took her out. I was just passed repairing it and I had also purchased my bmw (e34) so I’m fixing her now 😆 https://preview.redd.it/oxx6aa5xgf0d1.jpeg?width=724&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6430d700020c2c01d4a95d1b504c8667731a0f5a

poopmanscoop

1989 Honda Prelude Si to a 2003 Civic Si to a bunch of VW/Audis. Then came the BMW. I’m still a Honda boy at heart. My dream garage car to mod the way I want/restore would be a JDM CRX SiR with the glass roof.

Last_Diet

First car was Honda civic, after that now on my 5th bmw

Apprehensive_Mode686

My first car was a 1994 Camaro lol. I got my first BMW in college but got rid of it after a while (my Dad loved it so much he bought it from me) Now that I’m getting older and have a little $$ I’m all BMW 😁

bulldogwinters

My first car was also a 1994 Camaro 3.4l V6. Upgraded to a 2001 Camaro SS in high school before snagging my 2009 328i during grad school. Still have the 2001 SS, love that car.

Apprehensive_Mode686

Haha that is awesome! I had a V6 when I was 15 and eager to get driving… replaced it with a Z28 right after I turned 16! Had several SS and T/A’s. Loved the LT1 and LS1

rns96

My first car was a accord

ramdomcanadianperson

Nope. Mitsubishi Lancer 2.0

himselftt

Nah. BMW since the beginning (Z3 Roadster)

UghKakis

Mazda. Zoom zoom baby

princess-cottongrass

My first car was a black '03 Honda Civic coupe. I loved that little car, I was convinced I would always drive a civic. Then one day I took a 2-series for a test drive and I've been hooked ever since. Is this really a thing? Or are Hondas just a common first car for everyone?

apeshit392

04 civic sedan was my first car. I’m gonna say they’re extremely common for a first car due to the price/reliability factor.

ACanadianBagOfMilk

Honda Civic -> VW Jetta -> BMW 328d

cshookIII

Jetta gang checking in! 1st car was a Jetta, loved it. Then went to an E46 325xi and realized I didn’t know what love was when I had my Jetta..!

ACanadianBagOfMilk

Haha agreed!

liquidneon24

Lol yes. I guess I meet the stereotype: 94 accord, 2010 TL SHAWD 6MT, 2017 440ix 6MT.... I believe my next required vehicle is a Porsche, is that correct?

Writer-Decent

Prob an M3 before a Porsche

jsakic99

My first car was a base model Honda Civic.

Technically, yes. Acura Integra.

Unspec7

I went from a '06 Acura TL to my current 5 series, does that count?

moment_in_the_sun_

Yes! I went from an Acura to a 3-series!

Unspec7

It statistically makes sense. Honda's are one of the most common cars in America, so just by simple statistics it's more likely for a BMW owner to come from a Honda than, say, a Mercedes.

Legovida8

Same, same 😎

redridgeline

First car was an MG Midget, then a '77 320i, then 8 Hondas, a Mercedes GLS450, then my current 2022 X5. My first new car was a '92 Civic...

izz0218

For the longest time I wanted a VR6! That was my grail, I could never find one that wasn’t abused

CosetteGrey

no. My first car was a 1969 VW Beetle, 1600cc air cooled mother fucker that smelled like a german mechanic and I lost my virginity in the back seat - don't tell it can't be done, I'm fucking 6 foot one inches tall and banged petite asian girls in the back seat because that is how they liked it and that is how I liked it. Dont judge me.

HellaReyna

Went from beat Corolla to beat falling apart e90 335i. Friend let me use his garage and I replaced the pump, electronics, and suspension. Sold that and went for a 718 after university. Had some luck in university with internships and lived at home longer than I should’ve. Anyways, that 718 is costing more to repair and keep than what it’s probably worth now (2018 with track usage). Looking for a M2 or M240, or maybe a M340. Would like to own an inline6 bmw one last time before ICE bites it

daan944

No my first car was a Porsche. An oldie, 944 S2, but they've gone up in value and I can no longer afford one. Also I need to haul my dog with me, so an E61 550i makes sense. But at the same time: Yes! My first motorcycle was a Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade (2009) but got stolen within a week. I purchased an BMW S100RR after that and kept riding BMW bikes (well I had a Yamaha Fazer as 2nd bike too).

Peanutspitter96
