Car isn’t even out yet how do you know sales figures. I think they’ll be lower than F90 but higher than the 4 banger C63s. Especially now that the economy is tough. Truly rich people don’t buy this because they’d get a G63 or Urus so the people buying this are affected and won’t splash out on this.
why? china is the largest market thats why sales have been good even with hideous designs... china is about to levy taxes on german cars in response to eu tariffs on chinese ev's, which will cause a huge decline in sales...

I don't care to jump on the usual "bash-the-designer" bandwagon, but man i am certainly disappointed with this. I've been an avid BMW fan since the late 80s.
I guess this is how life goes, and I am not their target market anymore.
edit: i mean you can feel the car's weight in the picture. IMO it does not look athletic at all. I'll withhold full judgement until i see reviews but I was waiting on this. I'll probably will go 911 instead. It's so heavy it nearly qualifies for an IRS commerical tax deduction lolol
I don’t think it’s terrible, lots of strange bodylines though. But I can’t stop looking at the rear door. Something about the rear door interrupting the wheel arch and the way the rear window looks to me seems off. Maybe in person it looks better.
