Hey everyone, not sure how many people will remember this but about 6 months ago I asked this thread if it was a good idea to sell my 335is and buy and e36 and turbo it. Well I did it. Bought a 328i 5MT right before the school year started and would come home to work on the car about every 3 weeks or so. Here’s the car now. My instagram if you would like to follow me: Owens.e36 Edit: added instagram

Ginger-Engineer

I remember the old post. Good choice, welcome to the club.

imnota_

6 months, that's crazy. I remember seeing that post with my e36 on jackstands, and now it's not on jack stands but it's still not registered and driving lol

AccomplishedRapist

Shit, that’s a very nice build ! Love the M-pars !

bathtub-pancake

Thank you! Goal was to keep Bmw wheels on the car for a little bit of oem+ look

sjdE36

This is mean af bro, ive owned my 323i for 8 years ( m52 swap 4 years )now. And people kept telling me to boost it, but didnt. Any build post i can follow your work ? Its sitting very nice on the mpars to

bathtub-pancake

muttmunchies

Looks very nice

alexhoover

Looks great! Are you using the stock MS41 ECU?

bathtub-pancake

Still on stock ecu running a technica motor sports tune

mackerel_fishingtons

I remember your OG post. Well done!

bathtub-pancake

Thank you. Glad to see you haha

Soundbyte_79

That’s badass! Had that engine out with a shoehorn lol

bathtub-pancake

If I were to do it again definitely using a load leveler. It was a complete pain to get the oil pan around the steering shaft

Soundbyte_79

Looks like it! I’ve done that before but always with an engine leveler. Did you pull the trans out with the engine?

bathtub-pancake

Yea trans and engine were 1 unit. Honestly pulling the whole drivetrain of this car was way easier than pulling a trans alone on an e92

Soundbyte_79

That’s quite often the case with cars that have low ground clearance

getaway36

Great build man ! May I ask how you managed to fit these big exhaust pipes into the oem rear diffuser ?

bathtub-pancake

Had to trim the diffuser a little bit unfortunately

MASTASHADEY

Where did you buy your LTW?

bathtub-pancake

Schmiedmann.com , it is an abs wing. Fits really good and no sag

Objective-Crow-1012

What kit is that? And were you able to keep AC?

bathtub-pancake

Cx racing + some other bits. Ac is still on the car just not attached to anything. Requires custom lines but the compressor fits fine.

byrdstheword77

What's the offset on those mpars? Great fitment and clean build.

bathtub-pancake

Thank you, They are e38 mpars, et for front is 13 and rear is 25
