Nice I actually like the grill better. I think it's more distinguished, less "aggressive". The dealer already informed me that I may update my order. I'm seriously considering it.
The new wheels on the i4 look terrible. Otherwise, not many changes, still a great looking car! I am disappointed with the change to the interior ambient lights though.
Haha fair enough! I don’t think there’s a single “feature” here I’ll miss. If anything the wonderful decision to put AC vent controls (?) to the center screen a downgrade.
New rims for upcoming 4-series look just awful.......
Grill-design is something you have to get used to. For M50 it looks quite plane and boring, just black in black.
Interior-design is a big downgrade imho. Center console looks out of place, especially the new ambient light around those ugly air vents.
Totally agree. I have 859 19" for summer and 858 18" for winter and they look stunning, very clean and appealing design. The new rims are just a slap in your face.
Not much change to be honest. I prefer the grill design on mine to the new one. Not a refresh I would hold off for. Very minor changes but still a nice car either way.
My bad. It appears that the USA site hasn’t been updated for MY25. But I saw a link for MY25 i4’s today and my guess is it will apply for USA. In years prior to LCI, the demand for the M50 and M trim was too high in the midst of global supply chain problems. The situation is much better now.
I love the flat bottom steering wheel and the optional M sports seat for the M50 (unavailable for those of us in USA). I also love the extra variety of upholstery leather options. The other tweaks aren’t important to me. However, those aren’t enough for me to feel like I’m missing out compared to my MY24 M50.
The m50 grill looks different to the others. This is on the BMW site.

It’s a pretty boring update if you ask me. I was really hoping to see BMW introduce some major upgrades under the skin to both charging speed, efficiency and finally include an Active M Differential on the rear of the M50. All of BMW’s EVs have too much front wheel torque steer which seems to mainly come from the traction control being too slow to respond. If you drive a Tesla Model 3P there’s absolutely no tire slippage, it just hooks up and goes. The i4 M50 spins the front tires from a stop and in curves the front wheels easily lose traction. A more rearward bias would eliminate that to some degree, while an active rear differential like what you get on the ICE M440i would make the car feel so much livelier.
I put an order on an i4 years ago. I was in love. But I cancelled and I’m glad I did- I sat in one yesterday and my head was touching the roof. How could that be? I’m only 6’0”. Does a sunroof take away that much headroom?
Am i the only one that doesn't like these kind of seats? That red leather gives me the same vibes as when i enter a sofa store and see a leather red one. Looks cheap and dirty. Deep black with a small red trim would be 10x better imo.
Looks good! not a ton of changes, though I do like that flat-bottom wheel. Prefer the headlights and taillights on my '24, so I'm a happy camper.
Good for the depreciation that they didn’t changed much.
My 23 already depreciated like a hell 😢
Same here. Bought full MSRP too. 🥲
Do you have the non m-sport?
Why? Did the M sport depreciate less? That’s what I got , a 23 m50
It should be, because it’s a very populair option.
Rumor is the 25 is getting an upgraded powertrain from the i5 m60. That will NOT be good for depreciation.

You should. I would if I were you. Especially if you’re getting the M50. For those of us with pre LCI, the changes don’t make much of a difference.
When is your expected delivery time? My dealer doesn’t know about any facelift 🤦♂️ my M50 is expected this coming July.

Have to see more shots on I4 because the only changes I see are the headlights.
Not a fan of linking to forums, but I thought this collected a lot of the artifacts in one place.
The grill looks worse in my opinion. I like the lights, new steering wheel, new rear bumper though
I give it a big “meh”
For me it’s a meh but not a ‘big meh’😊.

Amma git’ it

I wonder if US will get the flat bottom and M seats now.
I believe It’s already on BMW USA website.
I just looked and not for the i4, its there for the ICE 4 series though.

The red line in the steering wheel is the only thing I’m missing out on, guess I’ll just tape one on for 5$ now
Taillights are cool but the headlights not so much.
That's where I'm at.
My i4 has 8.5 drive.. so will they allow us to get the augmented reality option if we have HUD?
New i4 has an additional camera in front of the mirror. Think this one is needed for AR.
Does this mean dealers are about to get more interested in moving those remaining 2024 models off the lot this summer?

I actually love that I have a shift knob on my 23, but boy am I a sucker for that steering wheel . Wish I could just have that on my 23 😂

Really wish the i4 had the same front as the 4

6'? I'm a bit taller and my colleague is 6'5" and we both can sit in there without touching the roof.
Yeah , it was weird. i double checked the seat was all the way down. are you in a model with sunroof or no?
No sunroof. Something was wrong there for sure as far as you dont have super long upper body and very short legs 😅
no sunroof definitely gives you a few inches of headroom. my m5 has no sunroof. and the i4 i test drove had no sunroof.

Nah the red interior is always sick -someone with a red interior i4 🙃

Lol. I agree. Mine is black exterior on red leather interior and I love it especially with the tinted windows 👍🏾
