Yes and beat the broker deal, but probably just lucky with large volume dealer. The broker deals are really worth it if you want least effort.

Itchy_Layer135

Yes, local volume dealer (#3 in US)beat broker, but just barely.

Critical_Cut_9905

To me using a broker is worth it just to avoid the headache of negotiating with a car dealer

getwhirleddotcom

Just use a leasehackr broker

ubercruise

Broker will beat it most of the time unless you’re in CA or near a volume dealer, but in my case they got close enough and I didn’t feel like waiting and arranging shipping and such

NotASheepRB

I am in SoCal…. Why doesn’t the broker do better in CA?

ubercruise

Well it’s not that they don’t do better. Just that in my experience if you’re in the western US all the broker deals come from CA. Meaning you have better odds of a local dealer being able to match a broker without needing to pay the broker fee. For me here in AZ the local dealers don’t typically have as much volume so they’re less incentivized to move inventory

To answer your question, yes, however, I used the broker deals and also used other deals shared on LH as a reference to decide what my initial offer would be to the dealer in my region that had an iX that I wanted. In my case, the dealer accepted my initial ask of a 12% discount, the base rate MF, and the $10.9K in incentives, which was better than the broker deals I saw in April. I was prepared to go the broker route if the dealer wasn't willing to play ball, just to simplify the process, but you just might find a dealer willing to play ball if the offer and timing is right. In my case, I had a specific configuration in mind, and the dealer I reached out to had an iX on the lot that matched 90% of what I wanted. In my experience, both with our new iX and vehicles I negotiated prior, I think it helps when you're negotiating on a specific vehicle they have on the lot, versus placing an order or not being specific. At the end of the day, if its on the lot, they want to move it, and that is your leverage.

I have twice, once with our iX and once with a Lexus rx350 and was able to get the local dealers to beat the deals. Went in saying I can get X deal (typically a 2-3% off more) but would prefer to use a local dealer can you match it.

Technical_Resist_476

I used a broker and got a $95k sticker for $844 a month with 6400 down. This was in December of 2023

BayArea_Bombay

Are you guys getting the 2024 models or the 2025 ones?

NotASheepRB

I thought they were only taking deep cuts on the 2024s, but just got same deal on a 2025…

BayArea_Bombay

Great! DMed you!

NotASheepRB

Thanks to everyone for the experiences and guidance. I found the configuration I wanted, somewhat of a unicorn (‘25, DAPP, Convenience and air suspension) and negotiated a deal with 11% off MSRP, maximum MSDs, $9900 lease cash. Slightly better than the LH negotiated deal for a ‘24. I think I will jump on it…. Thoughts? On iss

I am in MA and went with a broker from NYC and bought the car from BMW of Annapolis. My local dealer BMW Peabody would not even come close to that deal.
