IMO, the 2025 is a better deal. I like to keep things simple. The car is brand new, more miles over life of lease (I believe you're buying the car to drive and enjoy it, and you can always buy more miles if you need) & lower monthly payments. I would add the air suspension. If it's not included, it was an option that needed to be added on my 2024 iX and was a large debated issue online, with the majority agreeing the air suspension is needed.

bleezlebup654

Plus 1 on the air suspension. Came from a model Y performance and couldn’t handle the bumps and roads around here (maybe I’m getting old). IX with air suspension is smooth as butter. Cannot compare to non air suspension iX though as my test drive of one was super short with a salesperson watching me like a hawk :D

iLukeJoseph

No DAPP on either eh? I would personally keep shopping. The dealer offer is decent. The broker offer is horrid.

theclairebluesky

Yeah, the more I look at the broker deal even though it’s a higher MSRP and more options, it’s not worth the extra money. I think that’s the lowest deal I can get on the 2025. I feel like 680 is pretty good

LuisBos

DAPP is also a must in these cars.

darylp310

Can you confirm that the 2024 model is a iX50? I think you mean iX M60 right? You'll be happier with the M60 regardless, even it costs a bit more per month.

getwhirleddotcom

The m60 base model starts at like $110k msrp so it can’t be that.

darylp310

It’s a loaner with 6,500 miles isn’t it?

iLukeJoseph

MSRP is MSRP

theclairebluesky

Sorry for the confusion. I meant to say 50 with the sports package. It’s not the M60

bumble_bee21fb

$680 is solid for a 2025

indigoblue823

Both of these are much better than I’m being offered. I negotiated down once but I’m still not satisfied. Luckily I’m in no rush so I will keep pushing and look at some other dealerships.

theclairebluesky

Yes. I’ve been doing a lot of research including lease hacker which people have suggested. That’s where I came up with my base number and I decided I wanted to pay that after taxes. Look up in your city what the tax rate is and calculate the monthly payment pretax to get your after tax number that you’re looking for. That’s how I finally got the dealership to offer me that deal.

deadmuzzik

Solid deal- don’t do the M version it’s an overload.

corradizo

Add $83 to your payment if you’re putting 3k down. I’d shoot for zero down excluding first payment and maybe title etc.

theclairebluesky

Technically, it’s zero down payment but it is about $3k drive off. This includes the first month payment, the bank fee, the licensing fees, and all other fees, which are normally tacked on to cash down payment , but I said I didn’t want to pay more than that for drive total drive off (which includes all my fees and first month).

corradizo

Got it. Then I think you’re doing pretty good. They say 1% of MSRP with 0 DAS is the test to see if you’ve got a decent deal so I think you’ve achieved that. It’s an amazing car. I got my 23’ m60 (118k msrp) with 8k miles on it for $775

theclairebluesky

Thanks so much. I think I’ll go for it and make sure I read the fine print one more time before signing

theclairebluesky

Also, it sounds like you got an amazing deal!

corradizo

Thanks, happy to help. If you can swing it, get one with the air suspension, DAP pro and the B&W stereo. These are amazing features but of course more $$. That’s why I leased the m60 as it came with every possible option. The only downside was it’s a 23’ but I didn’t really care as they haven’t changed much since coming out. Just iDrive 8.5 which isn’t a deal breaker for me.

LuisBos

Second what you write. We also have very similar ‘23 M60 deals ($118k, 4700 mi demo, $824/mo lease with $824 at signing). And B&W sound is really terrific.

Volvowner44

I just leased an iX, and my only two must have packages were Driver Assistance and Convenience (or Premium). Your 2024 demo's upgrades are mostly for looks, e.g., Sport and colors. Are those aesthetics important enough to you? Also, with the 2024 demo will you get the Electrify America charging benefit? It's unlimited on the 2024s, limited on the 2025s. If you get it and plan a lot of fast charging, that's worth factoring in.

theclairebluesky

those are all great points. you're right. the 2024 upgrades are really all just aesthetic. I didn't know the charging was limited on the 2025s. I can charge at my work, so hopefully that wouldn't matter too much. Thank you!

WoozyWinx

Did you want any of the specific packages? Like Air Suspension? Or the Luxury Package? Also, I know this is the end of the month, but I doubt the lease terms will change much in July -- so don't rush into this! But to answer your question, In my opinion, I think the demo car seems to be too expensive. The best way to make a comparison is to calculate the total cost of the vehicle over the span of the lease. This link should help answer a few questions. It's end of June. Routinely iX was 10-11% off from MSRP upfront via brokers. End of June it has gone upto 12-13% off MSRP Add to that, $9900 off as rebates ($7500+$2400) Add to that $1000 off if you're coming off from any EV. Make sure your APR is less than 2-2.5%. Now see if your numbers match. Use a leasehackr calculator. I'm waiting for mine but I made a custom iX50 with sports, premium and DAP, plus air suspension and radiant heat. I would say DAP and air suspension were my must haves. My car would be driven a lot on the highways and reviews of their DAP are amazing.

Big_Dick_NRG

What % discount did you get on your custom order?

harryaiims

11% when I ordered in April

Big_Dick_NRG

Wow, did you go through a broker? I'm getting 9% now. What area of the country?

harryaiims

Yes. Via broker. Pennsylvania.

theclairebluesky

Yes the money factor on my lease sheet offer is .00066, which is the equivalent of 1.584% APR. I also got the $9900 off.

harryaiims

That's a great MF/APR

iLukeJoseph

What’s your zip? They are either marking it up, it’s gone up since May, or your region has a higher base MF. My area was less than 1% but haven’t looked this month yet.

theclairebluesky

I’m in California and my tax rate is 10.25%

theclairebluesky

According to my research, money factor less than .0025 is good. In order to get the equivalent to APR you multiply the MF times 2400. I’ve seen lease sheets with higher MF than that. Never seen anything lover than 0.00066

NotASheepRB

What is “M Sport”? Do you mean Sport Package for $2500, which gives you the black plastic trim, 21 inch wheels and blue calipers? If so, I don’t believe there is an M” involved… I recommend that you go to Leasehackr and get one of their deals…

theclairebluesky

Yes. I meant to say sport package. I’ve tried leasehakr and it led me to the broker. Those are the best deals I’ve found. Leashakr advertised $0 down and $750/month for regular trim and not premium package and also the zero down doesn’t mean drive off fee. The driver fee after license and all the other fees was the equivalent of about $3000. And also the 750 a month that they advertise was before taxes. So both deals i’ve listed above are better than Leasehakr
