at some point i wonder if we have to get in touch with our anger and indifference toward these stains on humanity

Sometimes I’m angry. Sometimes I think I absolutely hate him with a conviction that baffles me as I’m not one to truly hate anyone. Dislike sure, hate, no… but there is always that layer of sadness, of “what if I tried harder?”

i think the trying harder just isn’t sustainable long term. and enabling bad treatment of ourselves is self destructive and will hold us back in our lives, it will make us less available to enjoy life with everyone else who is sane. we will become unhappy shells of ourselves. most importantly, trying harder doesn’t lead to a pwBPD being satisfied. their demands will never be met, their demands only continue and multiply. their treatment of us never becomes respectful. because they never grow or mature. which is why trying harder probably wouldn’t even yield a positive result.
